That aspect makes Tropical Image unique to other local salons. The reason I do not rate 5 stars is because they lack the range of beds I like to have available. The only high pressure level 5 they have is the matress version of the Matrix High Pressure, which is a 24 minutes bed due to turning over halfway in between which means whatever side you laid on first will have half the lotion left behind on the mattress rather than your skin.. It just is an old ghetto bed and they have a few others that could use serious upgrading. And that High Pressure is offered at one instead of both locations. Other than that the prices are affordable, the staff is welcoming and patient, and the environment overall is 95% awesome!

This tanning salon is a complete scam operation. I was charged over $600 in fees for services I…read moredidn't even use for three of the months I was locked into their shady contract. Trying to resolve the issue was a nightmare, instead of working with me like a professional, the owner chose to argue, deflect blame, and treat me like I was the problem. He even sold me expired tanning lotion, yes, expired and had the nerve to act smug and defensive when I brought it up. I've never met someone more arrogant running a business, and to be honest, I'm not sure he's capable of a clear conversation when he seems so amped up it's like he's straight out of a bad gym ad. Save yourself the frustration and money. There are plenty of other salons in town that won't treat you like trash and won't lock you into sketchy contracts while feeding you expired products. This place is all ego and zero accountability. Total embarrassment of a business. Would rate negative stars if I could.
