The kids love how she explains math so clearly. They just get it when she teaches them. And they really get it because she's asking them questions during the session to check their understanding. Confidence and grades have soared! My 7 year old tutors with Laura because he wants to increase his math skills. I especially love that she doesn't limit what he can learn at his age. I looked up many tutoring centers in the area and decided on CEC. I signed her up for AST twice a week. Within two weeks she was starting to get it and even got an 85% on her math test - which before she averaged 70%. Well, a month before he was supposed to submit his essays he decided that he did not like what he wrote and that it wasn't representing who he was. In a panic mode we contacted Greg to help. In just a month they were able to do an incredible common app essay and over 10 supplemental essays for all the EAs my son was sending out. In short 2 months my son was able to submit around 40 supplemental essays to various top 20 Engineering schools. Greg provided an amazing structure, accountability and results. It made the process so much easier and stress free, not only for my son, but also for us, the parents. They also provide tutoring and test prep services as well. Big tip, if they do not have days/times available in the near term, do NOT go to 999 Testing Center in Hunt Beach, which discriminates against private psa homeschoolers. Just wait and get a later day and time here. Never again will we go anywhere else to test for Pearson VUE exams.

I needed to take an exam locally and selected Quality Tutoring becase they had the soonest available test date and time. I studied really hard all night and early morning and on my way to the test center I quickly searched for my conformation e-mail. I pulled it up and read it and read that you need to print out a copy of the conformation and bring it with you as they do not allow cell phones in the test center. I panicked because who prints things anymore and there were no places I knew off the top of my head that I could print a piece of paper at and if there were places that I could print at they opened after 9 a.m. I decided to calm down and just show up and see what happens and I'm happy to report, they never once asked to see the conformation e-mail, they just asked for my name and test I was taking and my ID. There was one young woman and you man working. The young man escorted me to the locker where I was instructed out all my belongings in the locker, even my car keys. Shortly after I was ushered to my computer station and began my test. The room I was in was quiet and had no other testers in there at the time. I was able to focus and complete my test without any distractions. I passed my test, gathered my belongings from the locker and dropped the key off at the front desk and was on my way. If I needed to test again I would come back here as it was a pleasant experience and the staff were very polite and efficient.

This place is really "all-in-one" which is really convenient for working parents. They offer a pick up service from my child's school and feed them snacks once they arrive at Quest. I have piece of mind knowing that my son is well taken care of from the moment they are picked up. As for their homework help class, I double check my son's homework each night to make sure it's complete, and I have no problems with the quality. I was a little concerned about the shift to common core at my son's school, but the teachers at Quest know how to explain common core methods very well. My son also has private tutoring for reading since he was a little behind. His tutor is great and I've seen so much improvement in his reading fluency and comprehension. He's much more confident in this subject now! The staff there are very courteous and more than willing to work with you to resolve any concerns and issues. I'm very happy with sending my kid here!
