My child needed help with math and after searching for different programs/after school tutorial we decided to give Mathnasium a try. First impression is the staff/teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable. They address problems quickly and explain it in a way my child understands right away. I also like the individualized study plan to help the student grow and the option to get help with homework, test prep, or school related problems the student need. The teachers keep parents in the loop about how the student is doing by either directly talking to the parents in person/on the phone, texting, or emailing report card. Very happy with our experience here with two kids attending for about 6 months. They are more confident in math, closing a lot of gaps from on-line school last year and enjoy their time there. Mathnasium, particularly this location has been a great addition to our educational journey. We have two 4th graders who have thrived since starting Mathnasium in August 2023. My only regret is we did not enroll soonerl. Before Mathnasium math homework consumed our homework time because as parents we struggled to help them and homework time would often end in frustration and tears, for the kids too, lol. It's taken the stress out of math homework and allows us to focus on spelling, reading and writing more equally at home. Well worth the investment in our children's education. read more

I am a teacher-24 years in ABC unified school District... My daughter was having some trouble in math so I decided to give Mathnasium in Fullerton a try. Lindsey and her staff are absolutely amazing! The only problem is I wish I would've found them sooner... Would have saved many tears and late nights trying to help my daughter with her math. They seriously are that fantastic... My 10-year-old would go five days a week if I let her and they are quickly helping her in a very short time get caught up to where she needs to be. The center is very flexible with hours, I am constantly needing to re adjust based on after school activities and I can do that without a problem. Both my girls have really enjoyed Mathnasium this summer. In particular, they tell me that the workers are really nice, friendly, and easy to approach (as compared to a different Math tutoring center that they used to attend). Mathnasium has been great for my son and our family. He was struggling with common core and falling behind in math because he came from a private school curriculum. He knew the fundamentals but was always rushing and not taking his time. I loved that Mathnasium was not only able to help with content, but also his approach and habits towards math. Since he started in January, he test scores have improved, his standardized score jumped up 11 points, and his confidence in math has increased as well. I would try to teach him, but as a parent found myself frustrated and short fused. We pay $299 a month for unlimited drop ins and it's much cheaper than private tutoring or therapy he will have to endure if I keep tutoring him and yelling at him. Love that they will work on his homework, help him study for his test, or work on the curriculum they custom made for him based on his first day assessment. The style is different from other tutoring companies and the other styles might work for you. But for us, Mathnasium was exactly what we needed and it's worked out great and director Anna is always so professional and accommodating. She has also been extremely compassionate with Lucas and his struggles as well. read more

I sent my daughter here to get extra math help on her ACT. I highly recommend if your child needs extra help on ACT or SAT math to send them here. Anna helped my daughter and created a lesson plan that suited her needs. My daughter went from a 17 in her ACT to a 27. The entire Mathnasium crew really helped make a difference. read more
