Services were completed on-time with 100% satisfaction every single time. I eventually started bringing my daily-drivers here as well (usually in the wintertime so as to not bother the team during the motorsports season). Two years later the Miata is no longer in my garage. Where do I still bring my cars to? It's still Elite Performance. Having purchased an Audi B7 RS4, I initially assumed that I would sadly, no longer bring my car to Elite Performance. With the B7 RS4 being an "if you know, you know" type of vehicle, it would make much more sense for me to have it serviced at a VW/Audi specialist shop. However, I remained impressed at how well they looked after my ND2 Miata and I wanted to give them my business. Since I live in San Francisco, I am now at the point in my life where I don't want to keep crawling underneath my car on the street to complete regular maintenance. So anything involving regular maintenance, whether it be oil changes, fluid flushes, bolt-on parts, etc, I will always bring my car to Elite Performance. Finding a reliable, reputable and competitive pricing mechanic shop is hard to come by. You either get a few of those criteria, but getting them all is RARE. I came to find EP through Yelp. I had just gotten brand new tires for my 435i and wanted a shop that was an expert at suspension alignment. EP came out as a nearby shop, and many of the reviews spoke highly of their work. Melody was the first person I interacted with, and she gave me a good quote. We scheduled an appointment and everything went smoothly. Got my car within the estimated time frame and it handled so well afterwards. To my surprise, Melody told me they also do aftermarket installs. Now, I've taken EP to install some intake and exhaust parts. I couldn't be happier. I have also met Gary, and he was also nice and informative. AMAZING I'm coming back for sure for work I don't want to do myself. Note they are hard to reach by phone so best bet is to message them on Facebook. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance (recommended time frame) to get my car in for alignment since it had a steering wheel tilted to the right and toe misalignment as well as a brake fluid flush and change. Asked for the services via FB and got response within 12 hours. When you enter the doors, make a right and that corridor should lead to their garage. They have a bell that alerts them when someone walks through the door. I was greeted by Melody who has the sweetest voice and a very friendly/excited demeanor. I confirmed with her that I wanted the tilted wheel adjusted and she double checked with me the brake fluid I needed. I don't know if they center the steering wheel by default or maybe that was part of the $10 difference I saw in alignment but I heard from a friend after I dropped off the car that you have to ask for it most of the time so I think I got the message across. Melody did the work for my car I think. Great to see a car girl doing great work. She also was wearing a SpeedSF t shirt which is great to see that Elite Performance takes care of cars for the track. When I got the car back, I definitely noticed the steering wheel was centered and it made a huge difference. The brake fluid swap gives me peace of mind that my fluid won't boil while driving spiritedly. I chose Elite Performance after reading the shop's reviews and comparing prices from other renowned local shops. I had the EP team install coilovers, perform alignment, height adjustment and do a brake fluid flush before my first track day. Gary charged a competitive all in one price for coilover install and adjustment where other shops charged an extra labor hour for height adjustment on top of install. EP still came out cheaper and so was their price for brake fluid flush. The height adjustment was exactly to my wanting and the car felt great at the track. I took a chance when I asked around for someone to replace my car's suspension specifically the springs, struts and shocks. The shop website is all about track and racing so I figured they know their stuff so I called them to try my luck which I'm glad I did. Melody who answered my phone is extremely pleasant to talk to and she gave a quote that's reasonable so I scheduled my drop off and everything was done properly. Melody even called me to inform me of some cracked bushings which they replaced and they did an alignment for the car after changing the suspension. Was looking for a high quality and competent shop to install front and rear sway bars on my ND Miata. Elite was recommended by several people in my Supra and Miata car clubs. I live in South Bay. I initially and naturally researched a few shops in my area. Prices I was quoted were as high as $900 for labor. Experience seems lacking for installation of the front ND sway bar also, as it can be tricky and time consuming if you don't know what you are doing. It requires the removal of a lot parts for the install, so I am one who is hesitant to allow just any shop to do this. I have had bad experiences with other shops where after a service, there were missing parts, screws and bolts...and parts put back on incorrectly. I finally decided on Elite which is 45 min from where I live. Melody helped book my appointment and she was the one who helped work on my car too. She was extremely communicative, professional, courteous, pleasant and most of importantly...very competent. The labor cost she quoted me was very reasonable and more than competitive. The install was excellent and meticulous. I was at my friend's car shop a few days later for some other work on my car and he confirmed that their install was top notch. I was looking for a shop near my work to get some stuff done. Found some vouches in the lexus forums for Elite Performance. Looked a little further into their reviews and seem to check out very well. Exchanged emails with Gary for few weeks leading up to set appointment and was able to reply daily. Prices came out competitively on the lower range of what most quotes I've requested and was near my work. I went in December 2020 did motor mounts, headers, Coilovers/camber arms + alignment. Got the car back in timely manner with my request done very well. Melody and Gary were whom I saw at the shop. They got the alignment spec, ride height, and clean cutting of the rear trunk liner to make suspension adjustment available without peeling away the liner. One issue was a headlight auto height leveler was put back on wrong but it was a minor issue that was common enough when I was reading about it. Not a problem as I'm unsure if it affected anything aside from a warning light on dash but I fixed it eventually while doing my brakes. Will not deduct any points, if any anything only -0.1 for a total of 4.9/5 They wrapped my old parts very well with material I provided and was neatly placed back in my car. I cannot recommend Elite Performance enough. There's a reason why everyone here gives them five stars, and I'm adding my "two cents." I have a Honda S2000. If you own an S2K, then you know it can be hard to find a shop that knows what to do with it. When I bring my car to Elite, I know that they will take care of my car and treat it like one of their own. They do a really clean job. No mess, no garbage, no joy-riding in your car; you can hardly tell they've been in there, except they fixed what needed to be fixed and upgraded what you wanted upgraded. The whole team here was incredible, especially Eric. Came here for a suspension install and alignment on my 2015 GTR, and Eric absolutely nailed the fitment right down to the fraction of a degree on the camber. That aside, from experience, honest performance shops, especially for GTR work are few and far between in the Bay. They sealed the deal in this department when a small mistake, was made during the install of the centercaps. I would have never noticed and these guys could have swept it under the rug, but they were up front and owned it. It might be nothing to some, but it's speaks to the culture of their shop.
