As I wait here in the reception area, I wonder why I even made an appointment in advance here. Not only did Gary make an appointment to service my vehicle a week in advance, I dropped the car off here early (8:30am) and it's still not even finished...it's 5:10pm. All I needed was a whiteline diff bushing installed and the transmission fluid replaced. This is not a 8+ hour job. I wanted to like this place, but this is incredibly frustrating and disappointing. To top it off, I have to pay $400 for it. I wouldn't mind paying it if the work was done well and in a timely manner but this is ridiculous. read more

12/15 - 91 Pump Gas Ecutek Tune by Eric. *Unmarried the Open Flash Tablet and received the new Ecutek tune on Elite Performances Dynapack. Torque dip eliminated. 1/16 - Track alignment by Eric. *I installed coilovers over the weekend and had the car aligned by Eric. When Eric tried adjusting the driver side rear camber, he noticed the notch used to hold the camber washer in my SPC LCA (from my WRX) was damaged/flattened and they would not hold the alignment. Upon being told the news, I quickly realized my choices were either: 1) Find a replacement SPC LCA and come back the following weekend to fix that side. 2) Switch to SPL LCA's which Elite had in stock. Neither of these options were exercised as Gary quickly fabricated some welds to substitute the flatted notch. ______________________________________________ My experience with Elite Performance has been phenomenal and they are my go to shop. Every time I visit, I meet other track enthusiasts, many of which drive 86's, S2000's, or M3's. I brought my car in with a squeeky steering issue. I agreed to have the 60k check up done as well. ~$700 later, I got my car back. The steering still squeeked and there was no indication that anything else had been done. ~50 miles of driving later I smelled burning rubber and the power steering went out completely. When I got home I found that they'd installed a cheap, aftermarket power-steering belt INCORRECTLY!!! When I told them the problem had not be resolved, they said the mechanic was out of the country. When I asked for a refund, they went silent. I'd never, ever trust these guys with my car again - they are ABSOLUTE CROOKS!!! read more

I've been meaning to check out this place for a while now, based on recommendations and reviews. Came in recently for an alignment and they really go above and beyond to get your car sorted. When my car was getting aligned they asked about my driving style and set it up to match. They also noticed my brake fluid was low so they topped that off at the same time, and also fixed an issue with my brakes being a bit spongy. Their work was great and I didn't even have an appointment and they were still able to help me replace the rear brakes and drums. Good service and the price is just right! I was really hoping that I would have a great experience here after reading all of the rave reviews. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I brought my 20" tires in for mounting and balancing. The shop charged me $125 for mounting an balancing. I was fine with the pricing, but noticed that the car had a slight vibration while driving home. During the next two weeks the vibration turned into shaking. I went back to Elite Performance and asked Gary if he could look at the tires. He said the weights on the front came off. he said that I must have used a pressure washer to wash the car and it dislodged the weights. I actually did not have time to wash the car during that period and I rarely use my pressure washer unless I am detailing the car. He said to bring the car in the following week to have the tire balanced. I brought the car in to have it re-balanced and after the work was completed he charged me an additional $60. So the total for balancing the wheels and tires came out to $185. Most tire shops would not charge again if the weights fell off a few weeks later. I brought my Lexus GX into Costco a few days later to purchase new tires. They only charged me one penny for mounting and balancing and they also had a $75 discount for purchasing four new tires. I only ended up spending $750 out the door including mounting and balancing. The cost of mounting and balancing a tire at Elite was almost $100 more than Agundis Tires charged to mount The P-Zeros on my 19" HRE wheels. Go figure. I doubt, that I will be returning to Elite Performance for any of my future needs. I was really hoping that the shop would have worked out for me. A little extra customer service and I would have found a place to service my M3. read more

Had given WW 4 chances to get the alignment correct and each time it came back different, I gave up. I ended up bringing my car in to have worked on two other times. All three experiences were wonderful. Gary and his staff are the best! Professional, courteous, helpful, and friendly. Hard-working and detail-oriented, they were always honest and upfront about everything being done to my car. I didn't ever feel uncomfortable leaving my car with them. They also follow CV19 guidelines. I even saw them sanitizing the interior of the cars before bringing them into the shop. Prices are fair and they get the job done. There's no shortage of Professional and Knowledgeable staff at Elite Performance. I was recommended here by my peers--other owners of Subaru BRZ's and Scion FR-S's. I had just finished a drive in my BRZ through the backroads of the Peninsula and decided to stop by and ask about exhausts since I've been contemplating about installing one for a while. John was the best advisor when it came to talking about exhausts and before I knew it, I was purchasing a Greddy Evolution GT exhaust. I asked them when I'd be able to get it installed and they offered to install it on the spot even though it was 30 minutes before the business hours closed. All of them stayed to help out with the install and I was out of there with a new exhaust. Their workmanship was fantastic--it definitely wasn't their first barbeque especially on the FR-S/BRZ platform. They knew exactly how to remove and install the old/new exhaust and they even checked to make sure that the exhaust tips were lined up!
