I noticed something wrong with my car. I wasn't getting any power when I accelerated. I reached out at like 8pm to next gear bimmer and they responded. I brought my car in the next morning at 9am when they opened. They were able to diagnose the issue and kept me informed. They also did recommend other services (which I know I probably needed). It ended up being a lot more service than I was initially anticipating but glad they were able to identify what was needed to keep my car running strong and having less problems going forward. Initially said it wasn't going to be ready until Monday but they went above and beyond and drove to Burlingame to get a part Friday night. They ended up having it done on Saturday, so I appreciate the extra effort. When I went to pick up my car they also showed me the bad parts they swapped out (just to show how trustworthy they were, but they didn't need to). I bought a used 1998 Z3 and asked him to do a post-purchase suspension check which was very helpful because one of the two bolts holding one of the tie-rods to the frame had snapped off (likely impact wrench from previous owner or service). Htet got the bolt removed & replaced plus I had him replace bushings which I had previously purchased. I contacted Next Gear for a cracked and leaking upper engine mount. In addition, the lower mount had slipped. It was my first contact with NEXT GEAR BIMMER MOTOR. He was very helpful in showing me the mounts and problems. He gave estimate for repair which was reasonable and ordered two new mounts. He also took the time to show me the problem mounts after they were removed and replaced which no mechanic had taken the time to do before. All in all, I was very impressed with the workmanship and Htet's concern that the job was completed on a timely basis. I had some gas surging issues with my 328i and needed diagnostic triage on what was causing that problem - fuel injector, fuel pump, gas pedal linkage?. On a whim, I dropped by this shop. The owner/mechanic, Htet, was working on another BMW model as I parked outside. He dropped what he was working on, and came out to greet me. I explained my car's problem and asked If I needed to make an appointment at a later date. This is a long overdue review and always wanted to give props to Htet and how well he handled my difficult repair. My 2012 E350 had some difficult problems and I couldn't pass smog with the service engine light on due to it. I've taken it to multiple shops with which they didn't know how to resolve it or came out with exorbitant repair quote. One shop was nice enough to give me lead to Htet's shop here. Htet is very experienced with German cars and was an mechanic with BMW previously. He diagnosed the problem and gave thorough diagnosis of the issue.
