Solid spot for a father's day breakfast during our trip to Florida in 2026. Came on a Sunday and…read morethankfully and they were slammed but somehow we got seated right away for our party of 8. Coffee was solid, orange juice tasted fantastic, water tasted clean and not like tap water and meal was superb. They have a wide variety of options on their menu choices so it's great for a family and large party. I opted for a custom breakfast with a blueberry pancake, two eggs, tomatoes, and also had a chance to enjoy their eggs Benedict which was superb also. Service was great and our waiter nailed it despite being very busy and servicing several tables. Price wise they are very reasonable and I can see why they say Florida breakfasts are different and by different I mean in a very good way! 5 stars and thank you to Keke's Breakfast Cafe in Ocala!

I really enjoy creating my own. You can add a choice of cheese and 3 ingredients for $16.99 after that it will be extra but the omelettes are pretty good. I usually get onion, spinach, mushrooms, with turkey sausage or chicken breast and sometimes I will sub with egg whites. My friend enjoyed the Banana caramel pecan stuffed french toast it looked ok to me. I wouldn't put it at the top of my list, there's something missing and I think it's that feeling of a down home cooked meal or that very special recipe that isn't there. You can get a meal that's decent, the place is clean and you do not have to wait if you have kids, appointments, or a busy day ahead. Breakfast is served all day and lunch after 10:30. To me it's Keke's is a decent chain diner but there are better. It's usually quiet and I've never been in there when it's crowded. It's relaxed and a pretty comfortable environment. A great find! We have been wanting a little cafe like this and wished we had found it sooner…read more The food is fairly priced and they have a great menu. The food isn't amazing but it's very good and does the job. The service is wonderful. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The food took a little while but we didn't mind. I loved that they offered gluten free bread!

Staff are friendly and this place has lots of regulars, it seemed like everyone was on a first name basis. We were traveling with a very hungry child and when searching for kid-friendly options in Ocala, this was one of the few that did not have health department violations so seemed an easy decision, even if it was a little out of our way. The challenge was the wait time. We only waited 15 minutes to be seated but we waited 40 minutes to get our food (pancakes, quiche, and a burger). Our son made sure the whole restaurant knew how hungry he was. Our waitress kindly brought out a basket of crackers which he proceeded to devour. I also supplemented with snacks from my purse. But she did not give us any updates or apologize for the wait. We almost walked out, but then our food arrived. The food was okay, but very basic. For example, side salad was just ice berg with a slice of tomato and some red onion. Nothing wrong, just nothing fancy. I would only recommend coming here if you are not hungry and can afford to wait.

If you're in Ocala and haven't made a trip to La Michoacana yet, stop what you're doing and go…read moreexperience some of the creamiest, most authentic Mexican-style gelato you'll ever taste. Seriously, it's a sweet tooth's paradise! After leaving La Hacienda I was craving something sweet. I always pass by this place as I leave La Hacienda and so I had to give it a try. The selection here is insane (in the best way)--so many unique flavors that make it almost impossible to choose. I sampled their Abuelita (Mexican hot chocolate vibes--rich and slightly spicy), Fruity Pebbles (childhood nostalgia in every creamy bite), and Patrón Tequila (yes, tequila in gelato form, and it's as good as it sounds!). But when it came time to make the big decision, I finally settled on Tres Leches and Ferrero Rocher--and WOW. The Tres Leches was a dream come true: velvety, smooth, and perfectly balanced with that classic sweet milk flavor we all know and love. The bites of tres leches cake in between each bite was moist too. As for Ferrero Rocher? Absolute decadence in every bite, with just the right touch of nuttiness and chocolate goodness. Both flavors nailed it on creaminess and texture--it held up beautifully without melting too quickly. And the best part? None of that artificial sweetness. You can tell they use real ingredients. The lady behind the counter was incredibly friendly and clearly knew her stuff. She walked me through the flavors and gave some great recommendations, which made the experience even better. If you're looking for authentic Mexican gelato that's bursting with flavor and texture, this spot is pure gold. Trust me--once you try it, you'll be planning your next visit before you even leave the parking lot.

This place is cute and bright and spacious. It's also right off of 75 so nice and convenient…read more We purposely searched La Michoacána ice cream and that's why we came here. Their menu is pretty much the same as any other menu that has this ice cream. However the flavor options seem limited compared to others. They don't have any guava, passion fruit, or rum raisin. We ordered a bionico with fresh con mantequilla and it was good but I've had better due to the type of fruit they had which was apple, pineapple, and melon. I still have a craving for this and will need to go to my local spot! I'm not sure about the service since my hubby ordered.
