It honestly feels like you're visiting family especially our waitress. She was so kind and made us feel really comfortable right away! They have a little bit of everything such as breakfast, lunch and dinner, specialty coffees, a bar in the back, and even bakery items. You can either sit down and enjoy your meal or order quickly at the counter. We got our food really fast and enjoyed our coffees. My husband got two breakfast sandwiches and I got a bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was really soft and moist, which I loved! Definitely a cute local spot, and we'll be back next time we're in the area!

When I arrived I felt the country coffee shop vibes and this is an accurate description. When I went in I asked all the questions to find out more about their menu and fresh bakery products. They make fresh delicious homemade sourdough on their premises that comes in a few different flavors. I took two loaves home of the plain and it is absolutely delicious. It's better than any other that I've tasted from the area and let's just say I really truly know !!! It's chewy, fresh and real homemade sourdough that will have you looking for more and not forgetting Mocha's. I asked about their bagels. They do "not" make them and they said that these were New York bagels. Being from New York I'll tell you another fact these bagels taste like a Lender's bagel to me and my family. At $2.75 a bagel, $30 a dozen I'm very disappointed. I asked about their donuts and they don't make the donuts or apple fritters. I took two jelly donuts and 4 apple fritters. These are tasty, fresh and simply fabulous! They make fresh cookies, eclairs, cannolis, cakes and other delicious bakery items. I bought a few cannolis, eclairs, cookies and cakes. We tasted all of them and they are also amazing. It was such a pleasant atmosphere just watching people sitting and relaxing, talking and enjoying their meals, coffee, dessert and ice cream. Yes they have ice cream but no they don't make it here maybe I'll try it next time I visit. You can sit outside if you'd like there's a couple of tables in front or there is plenty of comfy chairs and no one rushing you inside this adorable restaurant! I have to add that the girl who helped me was extremely kind and carried my bags to my car and seemed to care very much about her customers. I would recommend stopping by and trying the sourdough bread, some donuts , cookies and pastries. Maybe we can meet and have a meal as this I'd like to really do! Oh let's not forget all the coffee, lattes, espresso, americano, cold brew, hot chocolate, chai tea, matcha, lemonade, ice tea and more! Mocha's has Mocha's after dark which is a hidden speak easy where people gather, have conversation, laugh maybe have a drink and on depending on the night there is trivia, karaoke and other events! This is a family owned business that started as a small farm-stand that says "we are more than a coffee shop; we're your community's Living Room" Good old country feeling's and really great customer service with some delightful goodies this adventure was worthwhile to me. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely friendly and allowed me to take as much time as I needed to check everything out, which was a few minutes because there is a lot to choose from. I don't know if the selection changes daily, I forgot to ask, but on this day he had: Espresso brownies Pistachio white chocolate brownies Double chocolate brownies German chocolate brownies Toasted pecan brownies Naked brownies Cherry turnovers Vegan banana walnut bread I ended up going with the double chocolate brownie, and a macchiato. I have been here before and I wasn't disappointed. Today we walked in and we were asked if we wanted to be seated inside or outside as outside would be quicker, it was fairly busy being the day after Christmas. We were seated outside in a covered room which was very nice although quite noisy given 200 but still very nice. The service was excellent we were asked what drinks we'd like first and if we wanted to take some time to order. We all appreciated this and that we were not rushed at all even after eating no one pushed us to rush. The waitress kept coming around asking us if we wanted anything or needed more coffee or water as they gave us filled carafes. When the food came soon after we ordered it came fresh and delicious, everyone was very happy with their food. There is a large variety to order from and even a "Holiday Menu" that was quite wonderful! Staff are friendly and this place has lots of regulars, it seemed like everyone was on a first name basis. We were traveling with a very hungry child and when searching for kid-friendly options in Ocala, this was one of the few that did not have health department violations so seemed an easy decision, even if it was a little out of our way. The challenge was the wait time. We only waited 15 minutes to be seated but we waited 40 minutes to get our food (pancakes, quiche, and a burger). Our son made sure the whole restaurant knew how hungry he was. Our waitress kindly brought out a basket of crackers which he proceeded to devour. I also supplemented with snacks from my purse. But she did not give us any updates or apologize for the wait. We almost walked out, but then our food arrived. The food was okay, but very basic. For example, side salad was just ice berg with a slice of tomato and some red onion. Nothing wrong, just nothing fancy. I would only recommend coming here if you are not hungry and can afford to wait.

We've been meaning to stop by for a while but couldn't justify the relatively longer drive. This morning, we decided to stop by on our way to our obligatory monthly COSTCO run in The Villages. Located in what looked like a motel that's seen better days, we walked into a clean albeit cozy interior. We were instructed to sit wherever and we sat in a booth. Presented with the menu, we both ordered coffee. My wife then ordered their Biscuit and Gravy ($6.99 if paid in cash) and I ordered their Bacon and Cheese Omelet with onions ($9.99 cash), home fries and wheat toast. My wife liked her breakfast. The gravy was nice and peppery and the biscuit seemed fresh and held up to the gravy. My omelet was also good. I preferred my home fries crispier though. Service was on point as we never saw the bottom of our coffee cup with servers attentively refilling our cups! You could tell there are many regulars who patronize this place that's been in operation for over 25 years. It seemed like the servers knew a lot of the diners...and that's a good thing.
