Convinced they were legit I completed their CONTACT US email form describing the landscape work I wanted them to price. In case the guys wouldn't check the inbox for internet contact emails I decided to call the office and Cameron, one of the owners, answered. He said that he had just seen my contact email and we discussed the work I needed. Because it was a landscaping job he said he'd have his business partner, Brantley, call to coordinate an appointment. I understood that he'd need to look at the work before giving me a price. The movers arrived on time but that is the only positive about the move. Towards the end of loading the truck, the leader told me they would not be able to get everything on the truck. I asked if they were going to make a second load? He said no, I would have to call and schedule another day. I told him that today was my day to move and there was not another day. After they unloaded what they could get on the truck, they left. My son and I worked from 4 pm until 10:30 pm that night moving the rest of my furniture. The movers scratched hardwood floors, and the home I was moving from and the home in which I moved to. the movers damaged several pieces of expensive furniture. During the move, I questioned why they were not wrapping plastic wrap around the furniture to protect it and the crew foreman said he had plastic wrap, but he had already stacked furniture and the truck and could not get to it legs were broken on furniture after the move I filed a claim with Bellhop 's, and to make matters worse they offered me I'll be a fraction of the estimated loss. Unfortunately, they showed up with no dolly and no tools, and appeared inexperienced. At one point, one of the loaders was standing around. When I asked what he was waiting on, he openly said, "I'm waiting on the dolly"--which turned out to be my dolly, not one provided by the company. That moment really highlighted the lack of preparation and professionalism. When you confirm expectations in advance, it's reasonable to expect they'll be met. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here, and it added unnecessary stress to an already demanding moving day. I even called the person dealt with during the booking and asked that someone bring the crew a dolly but that request was not met. I am certainly glad I did not book this company for my entire move as the movers that unloaded my U-Haul (in Dallas) were absolutely superb for same cost.

I have been ignored by their claims department after three months of calling and asking for help. I've been promised calls back time and time again and never got one. Today when I called again, I was finally told my claim was denied because too much time has passed. I'm not sure why I wasn't notified that it had been reviewed. I was offered a good-faith payment of $300, which is unfortunately just a fraction of what I spent replacing my damaged items. The movers were unprofessional the day of as well -- they charged me incorrectly, stood around texting half the time to drag out the clock, and then asked me if I use recreational drugs. I hate to be that person writing a nasty review, but I am extremely disappointed with their service all around and I hope this helps keep others from having the same experience that I did. My one-bedroom move went over budget, damaged family heirlooms and caused me to have to replace my entire bed and mattress... and the company's customer service chose to ignore me and hope I went away instead of helping me resolve this. Last time I moved before this I used American Eagle Moving for a much more difficult move and they were fantastic. Their guys were quick, professional, and did not cause any property damage. That is, after all, what a review is for. To clarify, I contacted you through this app on the 20th, you are correct. However, I called and spoke with someone on the 9th, 11 days before commenting through this app. He asked what I had to move, did it have stairs and where was I moving from and to where and also asked what date I needed you for. I told him the date that I had to be out by was the 30th and I could be flexible as long as it was by the 30th. He informed me that someone would be contacting me back with a price and date at that time. I never heard back anything by phone and even tried calling again with no answer a couple of times. I then posted through this app with the project scheduling on the 20th, four days before your defensive comment back to me, without an apology, I might add. If I could give zero stars for this company I would just on the basis of you not offering an apology for my experience and getting defensive with me when I'm just posting my experience with your company for others to be able to make an informed decision based on reviews.
