We wanted the work done quickly before any mold could develop. Even though it was a Sunday, which I thought might make things difficult, the owner, Eddie, came out right away. After meeting him, I decided to move forward with their company. They immediately began a full drying process in all the affected areas. After three days, they confirmed everything was completely dry through testing and then proceeded with the repairs. The entire process was completed much faster than I expected. I called them and spoke with Dave after receiving…read morea report of 41.3pCi/L for a radon test I conducted, thus concluding that we were all surely going to die horrible radon induced deaths (a reading of below 4 is considered safe!!). He was very friendly and informative and clearly laid out the next steps for adequate radon mitigation. He noted what steps could be taken and informed me of their costs right off the bat. Very transparent and honest. Upon installation, I found the installers were also very friendly and approachable. They kept dialog going between themselves, Dave in the office, and myself, and kept me up to date on how they were proceeding in my nasty crawl space of a basement. They plugged up the cracks in the concrete walls and floor, installed their PVC airflow lines, and then piped out the side of the house to draw air from the basement and release it above the roofline. Everything looks good and they were respectful enough to put down floor coverings so as to not track gross basement mud up through the newly renovated house. Upon leaving, they activated a new radon test canister and informed me how I was to go about mailing it in in a couple of days. I am happy to report that as of now, my house has a radon reading of only 0.7pCi/L according to lab results from my post mitigation test! No more impending lung cancer for these guys!
