If you're into standard bodybuilding or exercising in a "no frills" and "no BS perks" kind of gym, this is YOUR gym. Since I used to body build and compete everything here is perfect for me to get in a decent workout anytime I want. On top of that, even when there is more than a few people at this gym at certain peak hours, everyone is very respectful and literally just there to get their workout in (no BS). The owner Whitney is a well-known competitor and coach in the bodybuilding industry and her vibe is extremely friendly and kind. She was the one that gave me such a quick tour the day I walked in and obviously signed up for a monthly membership here. What I mean by that is that a good goal for someone who hasn't done this yet is 10 minutes in the hot room. The staff there didn't really seem to get that there are people who need to start off with 1/3 or even less of the recommended 30 minute workout . They don't tell you that - they treat everyone the same . If you never worked out before - just try to do a 10 minute workout and you will have done an A+ job. WOW!!! Was I pleasantly surprised when she answered each & EVERY question I had, including the costs to join, BEFORE making a commitment to come try Delta Life Fitness out! Transparency is of utmost importance to me, and Jess more than delivered, and all without my having to push! I don't know about you, but I like to know what something like this costs BEFORE trying a class. I do not care to find out I DO love it, but discover it's not in my budget, after the fact. I took my free class, signed up for the free 6wk challenge, and have been a solid member ever since! I felt totally welcome by both them and the regulars. They pushed me enough when I was slacking a little and also helped educate me when I was doing something wrong. It was an open environment that felt ok to be myself, and try things without feeling pressured or embarrassed. I highly recommend this place. Very clean, open, inviting, and lots and lots of classes to work with my schedule. Probably the best gym I've ever been to. During the last year, it's been…read morereally easy to let fear and complacency set in during this pandemic, but The Exercise Coach has remained a bright light for me. The workouts are challenging and inspire confidence and the staff of Coaches is so positive and encouraging that it helps me rise to the challenge and push myself further each time I come in. I can see how much strength I'm building and knowing that I can fit the sessions into my schedule helps me stay committed. As challenging as the sessions are, I know I can get through them. The 30-day Metabolic Comeback Challenge period really gave me the motivation to pick up and plug into the nutrition plan. Changing some big blocks in my diet really helped me move the scale down and that has been a struggle for years. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this challenge and get focused.

We have been working with one trainer, Patrick, for years so when he moved here a few years back, we moved with him. As for the facility itself, it is such a relief to go to a "gym" where the staff is constantly cleaning!!! And disinfectant is readily available after your training session. Plenty of equipment for all your needs. Whether you are a novice or training for a competition, you will find the right tools to help you with your goals. Now, as it is a training gym, you have to sign up with a trainer. I would recommend talking with a few and see which one best fits your needs, budget and your schedule. Also, you may want to sit in and maybe see a few trainers at work. Again, Patrick is our guy. While he previously helped me maintain a healthy body, he has repeatedly helped me rehab from surgery and injuries. Just this year I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. After weeks of professional therapy I finally went back to work with Patrick. His sports background and muscle/bone knowledge helped him create a custom routine for me. By the time I went back to see my physical therapist I was raising by "frozen" hand and amazed my therapist at the amount of progress made in a few weeks. Yeah, pretty amazing!! There are showers for those who need to go to work after their workout and seats for waiting if you arrive early, though your trainer will probably recommend you roll out or warm up to maximize your workout. Oh, and there are a few staff trainers as well as other independent trainers you can work with. Absolutely no reason why you can't find a perfect trainer at the perfect location!

I contacted Chris at Atlas in regards to a personal trainer who I paid for sessions with, who was…read morethen terminated from the gym. I had contacted the trainer and received no reply, and so I finally reached out and left a message for the staff at Atlas. Chris's wife reached out that night and I was very impressed that they were so quick, she gave me Chris's number and said to reach out to him to get everything figured out. I messaged Chris the next day to see how they can help, per the phone conversation the night before. I sent him all of my text messages showing the personal trainer cancelling, schedule that was supposed to happen, and amount that I paid to this trainer. He said that he would talk to his guys to see about working something out since I paid and received a quarter of the training promised. The discussion with Chris happened on January 7th, I reached back out January 22nd to check in and heard nothing. It is now January 28th and it is silent. I have not received a refund or any makeup sessions with a different trainer as discussed. I am very reasonable and willing to work things out with what they can do to help me, but I am disappointed that I received no update and no messages back on this subject. At the very minimum, I expect to receive an answer - my advice, spend your hard earned money at a gym that actually follows up, cares about clients that come to their facility, and doesn't hire people who can't be trusted.

Found out that unlike the other location, they do not honor if someone moves to a location not within driving distance. I am moving over 70 minutes away and was reminded by them that I signed a six month contract and 'should have selected monthly." Thank you for the understanding and my tenure with this company is now ending. Hold accountability of your members yes, but not when things like medical and moving is out of their control.
