Even after lengthy conversations explaining the recommendation of the previous plumber, Christian took his time confirming the source of the problem. Once he found the problem he showed me the video of the drain, suggested a solution, executed the solution, and then checked the result with me behind him. This made me feel at ease and left no doubt in my mind that the problem was solved. Christian provided suggestions to prevent this problem from occurring again and suggested plumbing services on my older cast iron pipes that I may want to explore in the future. I recently used Elite Drain Solutions to update the plumbing in my 46 year old townhouse. Every toilet had developed its own personality, and you had to be intimately familiar with it to get the desired response. Otherwise, it could literally bite you on the butt. In addition, a bathroom shower leaked enough water to fill Lake Mead in a millennium. I was very wary of the services recommende on Yelp, as a previous contractor charged me over $1000/hr in labor costs to replace my old hot water heater with one from Home Depot, and then had the audacity to call two years later and offer a warranty service for an additional charge in the water heater that already came with it's own warranty. Elite is a one man operation, exactly what I was looking for. Those fancy custom painted trucks all cost money to paint and keep looking good, and guess who ultimately pays for that ... I made an appointment with Elite, an on time estimate well within the range of what I expected AND an explanation of costs. I also got a significant discount for duplicate services as what ailed all of my toilets was the same problem, so I got a discount on the total price. My biggest problem was that the existing plumbing was so ancient that some of the parts might be difficult to find. Service was a scheduled for the following day and completed quickly and efficiently. My shower could not be fixed without opening the wall from behind and replacing everything inside. I elected not to do that for a variety of reasons. However, the original problem is greatly minimized, and the function of the fixtures is infinitely better. Since the problem could not be remedied to 100% of the desired function, there was NO charge for the service!! Amazing. . . I will definitely be using Elite Drain Solutions for all of my future plumbing problems, and I would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone else. read more

He did have to reschedule the next day appointment but he gave me plenty of notice, communicated thoughtfully/professionally & had a really good reason (an unexpectedly more difficult job on the client before me - I would hope he'd do the same for me if I was that client so I totally understood). I previously hired Kristian to clear a bathtub drain clog about a year ago. This time my kitchen sink developed a full on clog. Without hesitation, I contacted Kristian and was able to set up an appointment which was a relief as I never realized how inconvenient a kitchen sink clog is. Just by happenstance, I ventured in the crawl space under the house then discovered that the sewer line PVC cracked at a connection point and it had created a mini cesspool... So glad to write this five star review because I received 5 star service. I needed a plumber at 9pm for a two bathroom clogged bath drain backing up. Looked on Yelp for 24-hour/emergency plumber and found Elite Drain Solutions in Kaneohe, my home location. Business owner Kristian answered right away, asked a few questions and said he would be on his way shortly. Upon arrival, Kristian got right to work. Wrench, extension cord, power auger, video display with camera, water hose and knowledge. Kristian had all the equipment and he knew exactly what he was doing. I was most impressed with the camera and video monitor (and this camera was his backup!) as Kristian showed me exactly what was the issue. I had to fix a toilet leaking at the base, repair vanity faucet, replace a couple of toilet tank flashing system, replace a shower set (head/handle/faucet). Kristian was prompt and offered to come in on a Sunday. I sent him pictures to help him assess the situation better but he said he needs to see the actual to give an accurate estimate. I was leary about getting "trapped" but Kristian was very straightforward and respectful that I didn't feel being obligated.
