I would not recommend A Music Plus for weddings/receptions. Here are a few examples of everything…read morethat went wrong. 1. For the ceremony bride and groom did not have microphones. They had to lean into the pastor to read their vows. This doesn't look good in photos. 2. They cut the father daughter dance from a 6-minute song to a 2 minute portion of that song. They stated that the bride signal to them to cut it. The dance was recorded and that "signal" did not ever happen. 3. The playlist of the evening was not played in order. 4. The DJ at all times was very hard to understand. The bride and groom did not know what to do when the announcements were happening because of this. I did reach out to A Music plus and spoke with Trinity about all of this and I have asked for a partial refund due to all of this but I am now being ignored and are failing to even respond to emails. Do NOT hire for your special day! Due to the current response I must further clarify. My daughter did not know what song was being played for the father/daughter dance and would not and did NOT state any possibility to cutting it short. The song was a surprise for her from her father. That is exactly why I contacted Trinity, specifically with the exact song and the exact link to the song that was to be played all by email. Trinity statement that this was to be cut short is a lie! And please do not think that there is not a video of that exact dance from start to finish with no cues of cutting it short from either the bride or father! The only reason there were multiple calls is because I had to reach out to A music plus for any type of response due to not responding to email. Not professional at all for not responding! And again, the bride and groom had a playlist to follow in a specific order. They worked hard on this for months coming up with these details. Not to follow the specific instructions is a failure on your part. The bride and groom did also request NO request to be allowed. This was their day and no one elses and that request should have been followed. Failure to even recognize the microphone issue during their vows! Furth more, you have not responded to email when asking for a partial refund. You do deserve to be paid but so many mistakes happened that I do deserve at least a partial refund. Again for anyone reading...please search out other DJ's. It will save you tons of headache!

It is clear how much he loves music, and he knows so many different artists from different decades. His knowledge and enthusiasm are ultimately why we chose to work with DJ Mike. I cannot say enough about how excellent of a job DJ Mike did DJ'ing our wedding. We had multiple meetings leading up to our wedding, and DJ Mike was always exceptionally prepared, he came with energy to all of our meetings, and he always had questions. His experience from DJ'ing many weddings showed clearly, as he was so organized and seemed to have an answer to everything. On our wedding day, DJ Mike did an excellent job coordinating with our officiant, and a few other guests who needed audio. His announcements and energy were excellent. Most importantly, the dance floor was jumping all night long. We picked a lot of our playlist, but DJ Mike added in some of his own mix to keep the energy high, and the did an excellent job. We have had MANY conversations with our wedding guests where they bring up the DJ saying things like "oh yeah and the DJ was amazing!" or "How did he just keep playing great song after great song!?" so that is OBVIOUSLY what you want to hear about from your guests afterwards as one of their favorite things because the dance floor is a big part of the fun! All that being said, we knew we made the right decision when we were able to have multiple meetings with him leading up to our wedding. He did a great job in those meetings leading us in a way we were comfortable when we did not have all the answers for how we wanted our wedding day to go. It was clear he's done this hundreds of times, so he guided us through our decisions where we needed them on things we didn't even think about like what music to play during reception and dinner. On the day of the wedding, we were blown away. My wife and I just didn't realize leading up how big of a role the DJ may play in our wedding (outside of the dancefoor). David did a great job with all of his announcements for dances and speeches and of course for all the ceremony music as well. As for when it came to dancing from the bride and groom point of view: it was expected that he would get to all of the songs we listed as "must plays" but we obviously were not sure how he would mix around those. He was recommended by our photographer, and our photographer also "got us," so his referral was taken to heart. When we talked to Eric initially and we said our few key words and artists we liked, he expressed the same interest, so I knew this would be a great fit. Working with Theron for our wedding was great! We got married at Pinecrest wedding and event center…read morein Palmer Lake, CO. and did the all-inclusive package. Theron with Whilin Out entertainment was out DJ, a decision made by Pinecrest. But it worked out great! Theron reached out a couple weeks before the wedding to set up a Facetime with us, get to know our do and don't play lists, and walk us through the wedding day. Overall, it was great! We only have a very few things that we wished were different, but they did not really impact the day, and of course we will still remember it as perfect. First, during the ceremony he went to loop a song, but the next song started playing. He quickly fixed it, and it was no big deal! Did not throw the mood off at all. Secondly, the dance floor was great- but he did tend to play the entire song, even if it is long and repetitive. The example I can think of is "Stayin' Alive" by the BeeGees- great song! but also 4 and a half minutes long haha. it again did not end up being a big deal, but some people did end up sitting down until the next song came on once they had gotten through all their disco moves haha. And lastly, we are not big "group dance" people- think cha cha slide, the wobble, etc. We had a couple of these on our "do not play" list, but he told us that we can only have 2 on the no play list, and he does need to paly at least a couple to get people on the floor. We ended up doing the cha cha slide at the wedding because we would prefer that over the cupid shuffle, but honestly the dance floor was poppin the whole time and I think we could have gotten away with having no line dances. Oh well! Overall it was a great night, Theron is a true professional, has great energy, and could sense the vibes people on the dance floor had and was able to sway the energy to those on the dance floor. For example, he could sense that we were loving the pop-punk towards the end of the night. He came up to my husband and I and was like "is it okay if I just lean into this energy and keep playing pop punk?" and we said "of course!" Everyone loved it and we all had a blast.
