Absolutely blown away by Bryan Evans and the entire Jammin' DJs crew. From start to finish, they brought the perfect mix of energy, heart, and professionalism to my daughter Ava's Bat Mitzvah. The kids were fully engaged the entire night. The games were fun, creative, and age-appropriate, and the team had an incredible way of making every single kid feel like a star. Bryan kept the energy high without ever feeling pushy or over the top, and the pacing of the night was seamless. It flowed so naturally that we didn't even realize how fast time was flying until we were all on the dance floor--literally everyone. I'm talking teens, parents, cousins, and yes, even my 89-year-old dad who hadn't danced in years. Somehow Bryan got him up and smiling, and it was one of the most beautiful moments of the night. We got married at The Pines at Genesee on Friday 9/1/17 and had Bryan as our DJ. Not only was he an awesome DJ, but he was one of the greatest parts of our wedding! The price for this DJ was right, but their contract was the worst! Despite having a huge insurance policy, Jammin' DJs expects you to pay if any of their equipment is damaged or stolen at the event (in my case, my wedding). My question to them was, isn't that what your insurance is for? Why advertise a large insurance policy if it only covers damage that the DJ does to the venue? That doesn't do me any good. Things got rude after that so I, obviously, didn't use them. It's too bad, because they had a great little online tool for choosing music. UPDATE (almost four years later): Jammin' DJs has recently messaged me to "remove the negative feedback or your review all together as we did not perform at your event." True, they did not perform at my event, which I was very clear about, but my review was of my interaction with the company and their contract, not of their performance as DJs. This just solidifies my opinion of this company. Stay far far away. BTW, I did have a great DJ perform at my wedding that didn't make me personally liable for their equipment, so however standard they try to make it sound, there are reasonable alternatives out there. read more

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Bryan as our DJ at The Pines at Genesee on 11-09-19. Impressed is an understatement! Bryan was a huge reason why our wedding was so successful and so much fun. Everything went exceptionally smooth through the entire evening. Bryan knows how to get the crowd on the dance floor and how to keep them engaged throughout the night- there was never a moment that our dance floor wasn't packed. I myself have been to 3+ weddings this year and it was important for me to have music played that isnt your typical wedding playlist. Bryan did a great job at incorporating our "must play" songs, while also reading our music taste and playing music that appeals to all generations. We highly recommend Bryan and Jammin DJs and are thankful that we chose them to be a part of our special day. read more

We were somewhat disappointed with the performance of these DJs. They played at least two songs by literally the only artist we requested that they not play. They also managed to skip most of the songs on the "must-play list," in favor of taking requests from wedding-goers. When I met with the DJ initially, I had a bad feeling, as he did not make eye-contact at all, but instead elected to stare at his phone while talking. On the other side of things, they played music that got people on the dance floor. While we wish they had respected our requests so that some of our older guests had a chance to dance, all of the younger guests were constantly dancing, which was nice. All in all, good DJs for a club-like atmosphere, but their online forms and personal requests are completely ignored. It might have been just our DJ, but if I were you, I'd pass on these guys. read more

Jammin' Djs was recommended to us by the Brown Palace, and from the first time we contacted John, we were hooked! John listened to our very specific (and somewhat high-maintenance) expectations, and matched us with Jason. Jason was AMAZING!!!! We truly couldn't have been happier! Jammin' Djs has a very thorough online planner, so as you think of songs you want (or don't want), you can update your list. It's on this site that you list important people, events in the reception, and songs. We filled out this form over the course of a few weeks, and Jason went out of his way to call us several times to talk to us about what we wanted. By the time our wedding came around, he knew us so well, that it was like we had hired one of our friends! He did a perfect job of "reading" our crowd. We got so many compliments about how fun our wedding was, and we really feel like it was Jason that made it so amazing! The songs and the lighting were incredible! I work at a big sports bar in downtown Denver and we work exclusively with Jammin' DJs for big game watches (Broncos and Notre Dame and MSU, in particular) and special events/parties (last night they did trivia here for a corporate team-building). Bryan, John and Lindsay are so professional and fun to work with. I never have to worry about our equipment or their music selection (on Saturday nights, it's a dance party in our downstairs bar). They've helped us out at the last minute many times and ALWAYS create a fun party vibe, no matter the circumstances, inside or outside in our Beer Garden with their Jammbulance! 5 star service... Not so much 5 star communication. My husband and I got referred to jammin djs by our venue for our wedding, which is always a huge plus. Our first meeting didnt go so well, seeing how our DJ no showed. HOWEVER, we contacted the owner and got things settled away. Human error with scheduling, it can and will happen to everyone. After meeting with our scheduled DJ we were trilled! He was perfect for our wedding. Fit our style, taste in music. Few months go by, as we quickly approach our wedding day and we receive a phone call from our DJ. However this is not the person we spoke to and met with originally. Again, i thought maybe it was a mistake and contacted the owner of the company to verify. Come to find out the original DJ was double booked for our night and we were rescheduled with a new DJ. It would have been nice to be kept in the loop earlier or in a different manner. With all of that being said..... Brian Evans our DJ for our wedding day was exceptional!! Even though we never met prior to the day everything worked out perfectly. We had to move the ceremony inside due to weather but that was no problem. He offered the uplighting to be moved from place to place to satisfy our needs. Everyone still is talking about how well the evening went. He knew when to change the music selection up to keep the crowd engaged. Left it alone when need be. He especially kept my husband and I informed the entire night. We found Jammin DJs at a bridal show. The DJ assigned to us was Cameron, and he was amazing! I am a very.... organized.... person, to say the least. He was totally accomodating to all of my requests, and he followed the event schedule perfectly! Everyone at our wedding had an amazing time, and I really believe it was because of the music and atmosphere setup by Cameron. He was dressed very professionally, and he checked in throughout the night to make sure we were on schedule....And at one point we got off the schedule (not due to him), and he suggested how to get us back on track. I couldn't have been any happier with how it turned out. Also, their website is set up really well. Like I have said, I tend to over-plan and over-organize, so I really liked having all of the helpful forms. They have one for the day-of schedule and one for the music selection that I really liked. I truthfully HIGHLY recommend this company. John, the owner, is super nice and did a great job setting up everything with my mom and me. I literally don't have enough to say about John and the whole crew at Jammin' DJs. My husband and I decided to hold a local wedding reception after having a Mexico destination wedding and chose very last minute to hire a DJ. John was MORE than accomodating and truly worked with us to make sure everything was in place and perfect for our celebration. They have the neatest online tool for picking music you like, when you want it played, etc that I was very impressed with. It is very easy to edit at any time, so I found myself randomly thinking about a song I'd like played and quickly log on and add it. EVERYTHING this company did for us was professional, from the way John helped us get started to the way our DJ spoke with us numerous times before the event, and then the way the whole reception was handled. He was great at really getting a feel for our crowd and there was never a lull in the party. He kept us dancing all the way till the venue kicked us out-- which was exactly what we wanted! We had such a fun atmosphere at our reception and had so many compliments in the days and weeks following our celebration. To be honest, I am a pretty picky person and I was SO nervous about finding the right DJ. I used to work for a special events company and I know from working at numerous weddings that the DJ is the top reason a party will keep going or will feel dull. I talked to some of the dj's and venue owners over a time & they all say the same basic things. "John is a fucking joke." "The photo booth is fucking stupid & a waste of time." "The trivia is a fucking joke. Badly written and mostly inaccurate garbage announced by inadequate morons." Save your money! Thank goodness we decided not to contract with John. We decided to check a reference and watch him in action at CB Potts, in Highlands Ranch, and thankfully sat next to a couple of regular fellows at the bar. Turns out John has a bad attitude, and he's just never wrong...these guys have watched him for years, and detailed why we shouldn't use him. We watched him degrade one trivia player and have no desire to use his services, and he's continually called after we told him we weren't interested. Please be careful, check references, and see through the bs smile. He really comes off as a punk, and we hope to see people not waste their money. Good luck! And their response, keep this in mind when you are just a customer and give your honest opinion about the experience...and I quote, this was recieved as a threatening email in response..."We do not believe this to be an accurate review in any way shape or form and are requesting for you to remove it at once. We are contacting our attorney as well as the corporate office at yelp to request an IP tracking to verify the validity, and move forward with defamation proceedings." Great guys to hire, huh? You chose not to respond to a few emails or voicemail and when you did respond to the selected emails it would take you a few days to reply. Excellent service! We recently got married and had the pleasure of working with Charles from Jammin' DJs. We had several calls before the wedding to personalize all of our songs during the ceremony (bridal party processional, bride processional, recessional, guest exiting) and reception (first dances, cake cutting, 20+ songs for the reception, etc). Jammin' DJ's also has a web portal where you can load all your "must play", "would like to play", and "do not play" songs from their database. Bryan was so incredible. He did such an amazing job making sure that everything went along smoothly for our wedding. He coordinated with the photographer when we should start walking down the aisle and made sure we knew exactly what was going on at all times. When the reception started he made sure that we fit everything in that we wanted to do in the time we had. He played all the songs we wanted to hear and all of our special dance songs lasted the perfect amount of time (we didn't want to do the whole song but rather about 45 seconds of each one) and his commentary throughout the night was classic. The services provided by jammin djs were afford ably priced and the online forms we filled out in advance of the wedding made everything so much easier to plan. Not a fan. I"m quite the fan of playing "trivia" at Cb & Potts, in Highlands Ranch, and they are a bunch of kids. John, to be the most specific, is just waaaaay too cocky for any of us to enjoy it. Heavan forbid he might be wrong, he will literally publicly humiliate a person for questioning him, and happily embarrass anyone he can. We know, lil man, you've got a little business and enjoy it, but maybe, just maybe, you might consider being nice to the people that ultimately pay you? I was at a wedding he DJ'd and it was different, but the same. Not a nice person, never wrong, clearly didn't behave the way the bride and groom asked. Too loud, there was swearing from the dj, and he complained that they hired him to do a job, so he should be allowed to do it--apparently at whatever volume and with whatever language he would like to use. Please, consider someone else! Or, go watch him at Potts, we used to, and we've just had enough of a poorly run evening to continue to allow other good people to have the problems we have. Their online forms for requesting songs and planning the ceremony and reception are awesome and so easy to use. They made our wedding the event of the summer, we are still getting complements on how fun and amazing our wedding was because of Jammin DJs. Trust me, there is no better. One star for our DJ at our wedding as he was awesome, arrived on time during a blizzard, and went with the flow of the evening as our song choices and first dance were a bit unconventional. He kept everyone dancing and was a really nice guy. However, the lack of two stars is for John, the owner. Our total bill was around $800 for services. We split it up into two payments but made sure to pay in full by the date of the wedding. Once the wedding was over we settled up on the rest of our final bills and began our life together. About 4 months later, John emailed asking for $400 he claims wasn't paid. I politely told him it was. He then began a harassing barrage of emails stating he would send us to collections, etc. I posted a review on Knot.com warning others about this practice and he sent me a email threatening to make us pay the whole amount again if I didn't remove the review. And sure enough, he sent $800 to collections, which we disputed with Transunion and won- having it removed from our account. Well again today, another collection agency called stating we owe $800. This is absurd and we are contemplating involving authorities at this point as we feel threatened and harassed by all of this since our wedding 4 years ago. We paid all of our wedding bills back then. Including $2000 for a planner, $3000 for a photographer, etc. Why would we ever withhold a mere $400 from this company who's services we were pleased with? It's exhausting. Just do your due diligence when working with John and be wary. read more

Jammin' Djs was awesome! We used them for our wedding and our DJ, Herb, did a great job of creating exactly the atmosphere we were looking for. They do have a wonderful online planner so you can upload all the special songs for various reception events. I loved that all we had to say though was "classic wedding-type music like Frank Sinatra" for dinner and they nailed it to a T. After dinner, we really wanted a DANCE party. Our hope was that people would be dancing all night until the party was over. Well we got exactly that. People said our wedding was one of the most fun they've ever been to, and I know a lot of that is because the DJ played great music and really got everyone involved. It was great just to have fun at the reception and not have to worry about what was going on in the DJ booth. I do wish we had utilized their photo booth. We got something else on our own because it was a little bit cheaper, and in hindsight it would have been better to just pay a couple hundred bucks more and use theirs. read more

Terrible. I have seen these guys at various locations doing trivia and karaoke. The trivia questions were so easy that most teams ended up tieing, which resulted in stupid tie breaker questions. They don't ask many questions either, so you end up just sitting around for minutes between questions forced to listen to the bad songs they play inbetween. Also, the questions were so poorly worded that it even seemed the host had a hard time reading them. The karaoke was pretty standard, but they only had a small screen to read the lyrics from, which made it had after a few beers. And once again the music played when people were not singing was pretty bad. I doubt these guys will be around much longer, both places I saw them were pretty empty with people. read more

We decided on Jammin DJ's and I have to say Matt D. did an amazing job as our DJ this weekend on 9/1. I was really debating if I wanted to use a live band or a DJ and after having Matt as our DJ I am so happy we went with you guys. We liked Matt from the first time we met him at Starbucks - his demeanor is so cool and collected and just had a great personality (plus he likes border collies so he had an immediate "in" with us). When we got to the event - Matt was already setup and ready to go (even though our caterer was not - so this was even more of a relief that he was all setup). He coordinated with me throughout the night regarding timing of everything ...and the best thing - he got people dancing! I will admit I was leary on how many people would be dancing because our family is not really dancers (and neither is my husband or I) - but throughout the night I found myself talking to people on the sidelines and then saying "let's go dance, I love this song!" He really got the crowd into it and I loved all the slow, country songs he played towards the beginning - perfect for our crowd - the groom being from the midwest. I had several people come up to me and comment how great the DJ was and that he played good music! It was such a wonderful evening for me and I am so thankful to Matt for the wonderful work he did that evening. I will be sure to recommend your DJ company to anyone that asks. Thank you so much!!!
