Unfortunately, from start to finish, our experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. Communication was poor from the very beginning. Over the course of planning our wedding, we were assigned five different day-of coordinators due to constant staff changes. Then, just three weeks before our wedding, we received an email stating that the venue had changed ownership yet again. We were introduced to Keisha, the new manager and point of contact, who assured us that things would be handled differently and that we'd be well taken care of. Sadly, that couldn't have been further from the truth. Only two weeks before our wedding, we were told that they couldn't locate our signed contract. When we checked the digital link where our contract had been stored, it showed that it had been deleted. We were then asked to sign a new contract -- but this new version included multiple price increases, including higher rental fees. Despite having several emails proving our original agreement, the venue insisted we sign the new contract. Even during that renegotiation process, Keisha repeatedly forgot to include key details we had already agreed upon. If it hadn't been for our day-of coordinator carefully reviewing the revised contract, several important elements would have been missed entirely. That kind of carelessness just added to the stress and uncertainty we were already facing. When my husband (then fiancé) spoke with Keisha by phone to calmly address these issues, she raised her voice and continuously spoke over him like a child throwing a temper tantrum- behavior that was unprofessional and completely unacceptable, especially just two weeks before our wedding. The entire ordeal caused tremendous stress in what should have been one of the happiest times of our lives. To make matters worse, they wanted to charge us an additional $800 -- $400 per hour -- simply to arrive early enough to get ready at the venue. As a result, we were rushed on the day of the wedding. My hair and makeup team struggled to finish in time, and my husband ended up helping set up just hours before guests arrived -- something no couple should have to experience on their wedding day. To be fair, our day-of coordinator, Brooke from Grace & Co., was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond to make the day run smoothly and was the only reason things came together at all. However, she does not work for Villa Parker -- she was contracted separately, and her professionalism stood in stark contrast to the venue's management. As a Colorado native, I had always dreamed of having my wedding at Villa Parker. It was once owned by a couple who truly cared about making each event magical, but sadly, under the new ownership, that warmth, integrity, and attention to detail are completely gone. Even after our wedding, when we returned to pick up our items, the project manager saw us and didn't even acknowledge us -- not a word, not a smile, nothing. It breaks my heart to say this, but I would strongly discourage anyone from booking Villa Parker under its current ownership. The venue itself may be beautiful, but the management and treatment of clients are deeply disappointing. I hope in time they rediscover the excellence and care that once made this venue so special.

She made the planning of a multi-cultural, dual ceremony (Hindu/Non-Denominational Christian) wedding look easy and I don't know what we would have done without her. To top it off, Lata was very easy to work with and very professional throughout the whole process. She also had many wonderful suggestions on how to spice up the decorations. She did a great job of decorating the mandap to look stunning and modified it to match the style of both ceremonies. In the end, the wedding was exactly how we had envisioned it and we will never forget the hard work that Lata had invested in our special day. Being a destination wedding, we did not get to meet her in person until our 1-month walkthrough. Lata was professional throughout the whole process. She was patient and open to our vision and provided her insights from her past experiences in this field when needed. She was available for us as we had several long phone conversations to determine our theme, discuss details, logistics, etc. She would work around our schedule and make herself available for us during nights and weekends. During the whole process, she worked with us to keep the decoration and her services within our budget. She paid attention to all details for our Sangeet night and wedding ceremony. She got all the colors, floral, and placements exactly how we wanted. She was also prepared to have a Plan B if the weather did not cooperate with our events. She was accommodating and met us at both of our event's venues pre-walkthrough to finalize the decoration. She treated us like a friend and did things outside the job description - for example, she stored few boxes of personal items for us and provided other vendor suggestions for our wedding. As nervous as we were about her understanding our vision-she came through a 110%. She even built us a custom wooden stage for our wedding mandap last minute since the rented stage did not work well. We truly could not have asked for a better, professional decorator than Lata to accomplish our vision. As picky as we were about the exact shade of color of the fabric we wanted for our mandap and the flowers, she was honest & open to telling us what she can do for us. The Willows Pavilion gives the "colorado feel" that we were looking for while still not being too far of a drive for our out-of-town guests. The day-of coordination by Maddie was spectacular and Becca was a fan favorite amongst our guests. She was attentive and made sure we had drinks in our hand all night! Nestled in the neighborhood of Highlands Ranch, lies the famous Highlands Ranch Manion!…read more I'd heard the lore around this mansion but had yet to visit it until recently! This estate is really popular for weddings and local events - around Halloween, Christmas/Holiday season and spring - but also allows visitors daily, for free guided tours! The mansion itself is HUGE, ornately decorated and fun to explore! The history of the property is documented on the walls and throughtou the space, but I recommend a tour! My husband and I went to a recent paranormal event - featuring a local business who specialized in ghost hunting. It was a little cheesy at times, but exploring the mansion, on our own, at night, in the dark, proved to be a spooky experience - especially after learning about the lives lived and deaths at the mansion. Perfect ghost territory! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and able to provide excellent education around the mansion and on those who lived inside. Definitely a must see in the burbs!

Before we arrived around 5:00 p.m. there was a hail storm that covered the ground with white. We were also a bit nervous because rain was in the forecast and the wedding ceremony was outside. Of course all the seats were wet, but the wedding venue or planner had umbrellas for everyone. One of my other cousins brought a wrap and she let many of us use that to dry off our seats. It basically started pouring right when the ceremony began and we all got pretty wet even with umbrellas, but my uncle who was officiating cut the ceremony pretty short which was funny. The house was beautiful and there was a big bar area on one side that everyone congregated at after the ceremony. Then a double rainbow appeared and everyone, including the wedding party went outside to take photos. The ballroom where the reception was held was really nice with a dance floor on one side in the middle.
