This is a hidden gem in my backyard. Yes it's an event center but you can also just go walk around on your own or get a free tour by a very knowledgeable docent. I took my mom and daughter to just look around but we were greeted by such a nice lady who couldn't wait to give us a full fledge tour. There is a lot of history to learn and lots of cool period pieces to see. The grounds are beautiful, we also took a little hike around the park. I'll make this a weekly haunt of fresh air and beauty.

I love how the mansion has unique bathrooms and rooms, it was pretty fun visiting. Not much of a food option, many times. The place is nice to take photographs at. It's always busy.

Beautiful estate! We recently visited the mansion for a wedding and loved the venue. I was blown away by the architecture and clear craftsmanship that went into building it. There's a small spot out back with a gazebo for the actual wedding with plenty of space for a cocktail hour. Inside there's an odd mixture of old school yet modern furniture but it works. This is a great venue for any number of guests. The wedding we attended had 100 people and staff paid attention to each one of us. The bar tenders were quick and friendly throughout the night. Staff also checked beforehand dinner as to who had ordered GF or vegetarian options. Towards the end of the night stuff cleared up quickly and didn't miss a beat. I would love to return to this venue for any reason. The views are breathtaking! I only wish we would've explored more of the mansion.

What an incredible place! My niece got married here! The estate is just beautiful! We came back a couple of days later for a tour. The history is amazing. It's had multiple owners & each has remodeled. Tours are Tuesday & Thursday - led by docents. Very knowledgeable - she loved doing it & it showed. The mansion is huge & the grounds are manicured. I could move in right now!

I have been here for two different events and loved it. It's a fabulous venue and there is plenty of room, and easy parking. What a beautiful property! I love that Highlands Ranch has something like this.

    Different then before.

I recently visited to view the Roland Bernier retrospective which included a substantial selection of his work from the 1980s/1990s. The expansive lobby provided an excellent setting for his large-scale works. Additional art display space is available in the long hallway that leads from the lobby to the administration offices. It is said that they unveil a brand new theme each year and this year's theme appears to be focused on some Eastern cultures such as cherry blossom and bamboo forest with pandas. Not that I have been to many lights shows and yet I must say that I have never seen anything quite like this as far as my recollection is accurate. In its 12-acre land, the installations of lantern lights are everywhere. After 8:30pm or so when it's dark, the illuminations from the lanterns are glowing brighter than Las Vegas' illuminations (LOL - why am I comparing this to Las Vegas!!) According to the park's website, some of the sculptures are 23-foot tall (such as the cherry blossom gate.) It's currently open from Wednesday through Sunday until October 5th. And last night's was one of the adult-only nights where you must be 21+ to enter (I believe the next and last such night is Sept 17th. And this writing is as of late August of 2025.) I am already curious as to what the next year's theme is going to be. There is a centralized bar, some food vendors, a stage where a performer performs, and a DJ booth. Great for family time, girls' night or date night. Helpful staff were working tirelessly to assist all visitors. Although about 1,300 tickets were sold last night, it was never super jammed packed. There is still time to visit this enchanting light show. Not only for the locals but definitely one of the must-visit attractions for out-of-staters as well.

This event is for young and old and I highly recommend going!
