I needed a cleaning services I had two ladies show up for three hours and I will tell you I was not impressed. They wiped things down but didn't move anything. You move the necessary items out of my way if it's from the dresser or moving the chair under the dining room table still needs to be moved and cleaned underneath. I reached out based on her reviews and am glad I waited for her because I did click on Yelp to receive other quotes but trusted that she could help us get the job done right the first time. She was booked solid but made time to stop by on a Friday at 6pm to do a walk-through, get us a quote based on what we needed to get done and worked her schedule around to accommodate getting our place ready to get listed ASAP. She originally booked us for Monday and Tuesday to break up the work since it was a complete move-out deep cleaning but due to the fact that I could pop at any moment, she ended up working through the day and put in a straight 12 hour day with one other person to get our place clean and ready for our agent to be able to stage right away. I needed a deep cleaning done on my house and got quotes from several cleaners around Northeast LA. Elite Cleaning Services was the only one that said they wanted to do a walk-through the house before giving a quote. So Silvia and her mom came, they did a walk-through, we talked about what I wanted to be cleaned, and they gave me a quote. It was the most expensive quote I received but I decided to go with them anyway because there were certain things I wanted to make sure got thoroughly cleaned (one shower in particular) and was able to communicate that to them during the walk-through. I felt like other cleaners may have been bidding low to get my business, but I'd rather pay more and get exactly what I want. And it just makes sense to do a walk-through first. And I didn't regret my choice. Elite Cleaning Services were incredibly thorough, taking much longer than they had originally planned to make sure everything got done. Silvia even came back another day to clean the outside windows of the house because she said they would but ran out of time to do it on the first day. I've never seen those windows so sparkling! To sum up, here are the reasons I would recommend Elite Cleaning Services: (1) They do a walk-through before-hand to make sure you get what you want. (2) They are thorough in their cleaning. (3) It's family-owned and operated and they clearly take pride in their business. (3) They charged me for the job instead of hourly. This makes it seem more expensive at first, but means that they will spend as much time as needed to get the job done; I actually got a good deal compared to other quotes if I translate the amount of time they spent to an hourly cost. I'd highly recommend Elite Cleaning Services. They did a deep clean on a 2 bedroom/2 bath ~1,350 sqr. ft. condo of mine after my tenants moved out. Their communication was quick and easy and they were able to get me an appointment for a quote very quickly. As for the actual deep clean, I have never had maids in my entire life of hiring cleaners in both my own home and for properties I manage that cleaned better than Elite Cleaning Services. They were two people and spent more than 13 hours cleaning. They cleaned behind the refrigerator, inside light fixtures, and most importantly, they were able to get off years of built up dried soap scum on two glass bathroom shower doors. They did an amazing job getting the grim off, and for that alone you should hire them. They cleaned inside the oven, inside the dishwasher, underneath the hood for the stove top, on top of the microwave, and a lot of other spots most other cleaning services miss. Here is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. 1) They underestimated the time the job would take, and 2) They missed some spots I thought they'd clean. Regarding #1, they said they'd be done around 8:30 PM but weren't finished until closer to 10 PM. If you're going to have a problem with a cleaning service, you'd want that problem to be that they clean too much. Nevertheless, I had to adjust my plans for the evening because I was waiting for them to be finished. They said the job was bigger than they expected but giving an accurate estimate is important for customers and they should get better at that. I even helped carry some of their cleaning supplies down to their car because they looked worn out and I thought I could lend a hand. With that being said, they did not charge extra for staying longer than expected. Regarding #2, I thought there were a couple big spots they missed. I have a pocket door in the kitchen, the kind that slides into the wall on a track rather than the swinging kind. After they left I opened the door and there was a lot of dust and grime on it. On the one hand, no other cleaning service I've ever hired has ever cleaned any of the doors. But Elite wiped down all of the other doors in the unit, including the outside of the front door, yet they missed this one. I wouldn't have required or expected them to clean the doors, but if they say they're going to do something then they should do it. Like the doors, they also cleaned some air intake vents, but not all. They cleaned the one for the main AC unit, but they didn't clean the two vents in the bathrooms. Again, like the doors, no other company has ever cleaned any of them, yet if you say you're going to do something then you should do it. I started to clean the bathroom vents while they were there just to speed up the process. In all fairness, Silvia, the owner/operator offered to do them when she saw I was doing them but to save time I said I'll just do them. They pulled out the refrigerator to clean behind it but were not able to put it back. You shouldn't commit to doing a job (cleaning behind the refrigerator) without being sure you're able to finish it right or at least you should inform the owner there's a chance that you won't be able to put it back before you start the job. It took me about 5 minutes, but I was able to slide it back into its space. Finally, they did a great job in the inside of the refrigerator and freezer, but after they left I pulled off the light shield (like a light shade for a lamp but for the 2 bulbs in the back of the refrigerator) and found food and crumbs hardened on the back. It's a small spot that is not that obvious, but given that they did the inside of the chandeliers in the dining areas I thought they would get this spot. In short, they were not the best at estimating the scope of the job and they missed a few spots, but overall they cleaned more areas with a better quality than any other cleaning service I've ever hired. read more

Sylvia and her crew did an absolutely unbelievably AMAZING deep clean on our 3 bedroom 3 bath home we were preparing for new renters. The bathrooms were sparkling; even the shower door that had been building up hard water stains for nearly 2 years! The refrigerator looked brand new and it's 10 years old. The couch which I thought was basically ruined forever looked PERFECT after she took her rug doctor to it. We were a house with pets and our renters have pet allergies, but Sylvia and her mom cleaned the house and cushions and everything so thoroughly that they haven't found any trace of our dogs anywhere. Sylvia gave a fair quote for a deep cleaning, and she wasn't satisfied until everything was perfect, so we were happy to pay more to have her do the couch and windows after seeing how incredibly clean everything was. They worked late into the night and even came back the next day to finish because she has such an eye for detail she wanted to do all the finishing work in the daylight to make sure everything was perfect. Sylvia is amazing! I hired her to deep clean my parent's 4 bedroom/2.5 bathroom house which had not been cleaned in two years because my mom was battling pancreatic cancer and confined to bed. The house was coated in a layer of dirt and dust and the pantry and refrigerator smelled of rotting food. Sylvia worked for days. She didn't stop until she was satisfied that every corner of the house, from ceiling to floor, was spotless. She moved all the furniture away from the walls to get behind everything and even took the window treatments down to clean. She scrubbed all the grout on the kitchen counters and tile floors and somehow managed to return it to its original color.
