the owner of elite cigar cafe at 4291 bell line rd addisson,texas 75001 needs to be educated and not to mention fined and or arrested or both for violating federal laws reguarding service dogs . i am a member of a program that a friend of mine was that enter this establishment to sit down and relax with his service dog in this cigar cafe. it turns out the owner refused him service which violates the federal law under the department of justice and the american with disabilities act for people with service. these animals are highly trained and extrememly disciplined in order to do the thing required of them in the community. this veteran despite his efforts was still denied entry even after the local police got envolved, they to told this veteran that he and his dog couldn't enter they had to leave as the owner also said. when another officer showed up and verified the veterans information. the owner still refused. under the american with disabilities act and the deaprtment of justice service dogs are permitted and authorized full acess in to any public business or venues that others frequent. this man should be as said before made to pay a stiff fine, be jailed for discriminating against people with disabilities and service dogs, and business shutdown and or lose his job!! this is a dispicable act to a person who not only served his country, but as a member of the comunity as well assisted by his service dog. i to am a combat veteran with a service dog that knows about this veteran and his dog. i to have the same rights under federal law. something really needs to be done !!! read more

FYI, I rarely write reviews Elite Cigar is one of the best places to get a cigar around this Area and I have lived in Addison about 5 years now. You have the Cigar shop and then there is the lounge. On the cigar side of Elite, you'll be had pressed to find better service. Toney and the staff working with Toney on that side are "Johnny on the spot" They are very knowledgeable when it comes to what they have on hand to fit your particular tastes and are always very helpful when it comes to helping find the right cigar. Quite frankly they're the reason I keep going back to Elite. But then there's the lounge.. ABSOLUTELY the worst service, and it's very SAD because i like that place so much. I kid you not I literally have to BEG them to get any service around here. I went in and asked to order some food. I got the usual Eye roll. and then when I asked if I could order some food she said Absolutely, then walked off never to be seen again, she could be found lounging in the member's area watching TV.. It a running joke among my friends as to how many time the wait staff will walk by without offing any service. Like I said, it's very Sad. Definitely go for the cigars, but if your in the mood to hang out for a drink and enjoy a good cigar, Be Prepared.. your gonna have to work really hard to get a beer any food. 10 Stars for Toney and hears hoping Kent sees this and Cleans House in the Lounge. In the past, the service has often been disappointing, but Roda completely changed our experience. Roda was incredibly sweet, attentive, and accommodating throughout our visit. Her warm and joyful personality added a special touch to our evening, making it truly memorable. She was prompt with our orders and ensured we had everything we needed, all with a bright smile. Been going to this store for a few months. Service has gotten terrible. My waitress, Erica, forgot to bring me my drink. I had to finally ask the guy working behind the bar and he didn't even apologize for me having to wait or ask for my drink. He was rude and unfriendly. Never eaten here, so I cannot comment on food. Service in the cigar shop was also below par. I was never greeted when I came in and when I paid for my cigar, it's like it was tossed across the counter at me to get me to go away. I left Addison Cigar to come here and always got good service from the people who used to work here, but lately, I don't feel like anyone here cares. I started going to another cigar shop this week that may not have the selection, but I feel welcomed there. I also saw a few people there that used to go to Elite, and they had the same opinion about the terrible attitude and service at Elite Cigar Cafe. I kept hearing that this place had issues with african-american clientelle and did not believe that until I went there with my AA coworkers. I dont frequent it as much as I used to but I always meet my friends there for a quick smoke and we are always loud. never had anything said to us. That was until I brought my black coworkers and the owner kept sending his staff to tell them they were too loud. its a bar for Christ's sake! It may be a great place for a smoke or a drink but don't expect your African-american friends to be welcomed. read more

Best cigar shop in DFW. Huge humidor with great prices. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable. There is also a full bar and kitchen. The food is very good. The Cuban sandwich is top shelf! I also regularly enjoy the pizza, BLT, and chicken tenders. Plenty of seating including a patio with fans and heaters. Free wifi. 6 TVs including one that they will gladly pull out on the patio. Had a friend that stopped in and tried this place out after my bad experience and he said food was good..but a bit pricy. He said place was virtually empty as it was when i was there. My friend inquired about owner and business and was told by an employee,who stated he was new, that the business had staffing problems and that the entire staff had quit and they were trying to find more employees. My husband and I live in Addison and love going to Elite cigar for a drink and a smoke in the evening. They've got all kinds of cigars for any type of smoker, and a very well versed bar for your alcohol enthusiast! I've been to other cigar shops and this one is by far the best in dallas!! HUGE humidor that stays fully stocked. The best thing about it is it has a bar and a cafe and if your like me you'll love to have some amazing breakfast while having a smoke. I rate it an 11 from 1-10!!
