Brand new Tesla model y. Guy was super nice but the car wash itself ripped my mirror off. While the spinning brush that snagged it did a couple dents down the side of my car also. Thousand of dollars in damage for free! They gave me my $15 back when I asked for it. I never made it through the car wash. Drove out with the soap still all over the car. Handed me my mirror back in pieces and refunded me. Been dealing with insurance claims and repair shops. Avoid this place unless you love throwing away money and time. read more

Don't waste your money! Paid $13 for the second tier wash option and it didn't clean the hood of my truck at all. When I pointed it out to the worker he just rudely told me they scrubbed it and it wouldn't come off. You also have to pay additional to vacuum your vehicle and it worked almost as well as the car wash. read more

We've never reviewed a car wash before, but our experience here warrants a good notice. The car wash is automatic; the car is pulled through a series of washers and dryers after an initial soaping by the attendant. It seems to do a good job, and the prices -- ranging from $6 to $10 depending on what bells and whistles you want -- are clearly spelled out. Well and good. But the gentleman who did our car was so friendly, so courteous and so interested in us -- strangers in this area -- that we wanted to commend him and his operation. When he learned we were not from around here, he offered some dining choices, asked if we needed a room and provided directions for our next day's travel. We're from the South, supposedly famous for its hospitality, but we found this gentleman showed up just about everyone from our region. What a nice man! Usually wash our own but covered in salt water and dirt we needed it done now. All I can say is wow! The auto wash in my hometown leaves the car with scratches and dirty spots so we were a bit hesitant. The Elite wash with pre wash is sooo worth it! This rating is their customer service. Took my new used truck in for a wash for its first time the attendant took my card and gave me my receipt with no punch card When I asked him where my punchcard was he informed me that I didn't ask for one in a very rude manner. Most businesses that use this type of reward system will either give you a card or offer you a card like the coffee shops do . Apparently here it's required you ask for one they don't give them to people from out of town at least that's what the attendant told me and he didn't recognize me although I've had more cards filled out than I can count and I did recognize him! this no way to treat a customer!! read more

This is my favorite car wash in Tillamook. Not that there are a lot of choices. It is the only one that moves your car through the wash (as opposed to the automatic washer moving around your stationary car). There are two of the latter (lesser) washers here in Tillamook as well as the standard feed the meter DIY type wash. Elite has a very friendly staff. They have three options of wash--$6, $8, and $10--each one including progressively more options. I generally get the most comprehensive one, and am generally happy with it. As with most car washes, if you bring your car in super dirty it won't get all the dirt off. If I know I'm in that category I usually just stop by one of the feed the meter types and pay the minimum to wash all the big chunks off, and that usually allows the automatic one to get your car spic and span clean. But I digress. They don't have a full service option, which most places (see e.g., Magic Touch, etc.) don't. That's not a huge deal, but I'd pay another $5 not to have to vacuum my car clean of all my Pekingese's hair. All in all a solid option, and probably your best one in Tillamook. read more

Just came to the town from the fire around Corbett, our car was filthy from dirt, ash, and smoke, it was nasty to say the least. Pulled up to this car wash, before we even paid we had 2 guys with brushes attacking our car! A very pleasant man ask what we required and took our money. Lined us up on the machine and sent us through the automated car wash. Went through with no issues, didn't even mess up our mirrors! Came out clean with no damage. Very impressive!!! Decent place to wash car. There is a person outside who pre-wash your car with a brush before going through the machine. A full wash is $12.

I went to Elite car wash on Thursday, May 2nd because some ill-meaning birds decided to decorate my car earlier that week and I needed to wash away their "gifts." I was happy with the wash until I drove into the sunset and to my surprise I found a scrape on my windshield of epic proportions. It snakes from hood to roof along the edge of the driver's side of the windshield, and then pools in some swirls and scribbles down toward the hood. Reminds me of an abstract representation of a dandelion turned on it's head. My guess is that it was caused by a rock in the brush, a simple mistake. I contacted them by phone as soon as I discovered the marks. What's got me baffled is the cold shoulder I've received in return. I called and left messages on three consecutive days and stopped in Saturday morning during regular business hours to no avail as they were closed. I would like a refund for my $11 windshield dandelion, but more than that I would really appreciate some human contact. UPDATE FROM MAY 8TH: Went in to talk to either Donnie or Danny (I couldn't hear him very well when I asked his name) He wears glasses and was the one taking payments for washes. He looked at my windshield (Everywhere except where I indicated) and said he didn't see anything, and said that "If there was something there, you probably couldn't see if before we washed the windshield." When I asked for a refund he said, "I'll wash your car again, but I don't do refunds." He said it a few more times before I thanked him for the quotes I would use in my review. I don't know who the new person is running this shop or doing the car washes bodies the most rudest human being I've ever met and I've been all away from Chilliwack to Florida. I went in 2 days ago to get my car wash they didn't do the tires and went back and asked if they could clean up the tires acted as if he would I get in line he jerks Mike Van around finally gets it into the hole and and tells me I'm not giving you a free car wash really was and after a free car wash or just after getting my tires fixed rudest son of a gun I've ever met him in the let everybody know never to go there hes horrible the guy with the glasses in the rotted teeth can't believe that lack of professionalism could possibly be an owner but in the town of Tillamook I wouldn't doubt it some of their heads get so big it's pathetic and his must be one of them he has probly the child in school that got bullied. read more
