this used to be my go to station, not anymore! I was getting diesel and the pump didn't shut off and a few gallons was on the ground before I could get to it. the attendant said it was a problem with my vehicle and wouldnt reimburse me for the spillage and were rude about it. read more

Many times in attendant doesn't even come out of the office to help those that need to have there gas pumped with minimum service. Many times they don't display the gas prices on the sign. Gas pumps don't automatically shut off several times allowing gas to pour out all over your clothing and the ground. This has happened to me and others. They don't direct traffic they come in at both directions and block each other. Terrible organization. read more

Handle got stuck spilling fuel overflowing. They blamed my wife's vehicle. It has never happened anywhere else. They did not compensate for the fuel their machine wasted. Used to be our go to local spot until they treated us that way. read more

the nozzle got stuck and gas ended up everywhere on the ground after I pulled it out!!! I yelled for help holding it away from anything and aiming for the ground. wasted 9$ of gas! the guy told me it was MY FAULT! refused to refund me even when I told him I unlocked it multiple times and it wouldn't stay unlocked! I pulled in to use my $1.00 off & my Safeway points. Attendant couldn't speak English very well. I couldn't understand him & he couldn't understand me. I couldn't get him to understand adding the Safeway points so he completed the sale using the $1.00 off only. That could have saved me a lot of money adding those points. I know it works that way because it did the last time I was there. I tried calling the station but it went to vm so I left a message. I also sent a message to Chevon corp headquarters. read more

Today, we decided to fill our tank on the way back home at this chevron. We are from Washington, so pumping our own gas is somewhat second nature. After plugging in our Safeway card to get 30¢ off/gallon, my husband proceeded to begin fueling, not realizing he had done anything "wrong". An employee came over, aggressively pulled the nozzle out of our car, hung it back up and yells "you're done"....my husband explained he's from Washington and that he forgot they pump it in OR. He asked the attendant if he could start it over since we only got $11 worth of gas. The man continued in broken English that my husband was "done" and "no more gas for him". He was extremely rude and also wasted our Safeway discount. We understand their annoyance if they get in trouble for patrons pumping their own gas, but the way this man handled it was horrible. Also, it's very confusing for out-of-state travelers to know which stations are self-serve and which aren't...it would really benefit everyone if those that aren't would make that abundantly clear. This station failed at basic decency and clarity in their policies. After reading others' reviews and my experience today, I'd highly suggest avoiding Chevron Lincoln City. read more

The only reason I drove the extra distance to get gasoline here was to also use the carwash. The carwash that Yelp says they have. But the carwash is inoperable and has been for some time. I tried to pump my own gas today, and the attendant, a guy with a white pony tail, started ranting at me that I could not pump my own gas and it had been that way for 75 years....yada yada yada. He was ranting around the gas station. Really bad experience. If you want to pump your own gas, avoid this station. read more

After going to the Shell station and being verbally abused by the crusty old man who pumps gas, I rolled my window up and drove down the road to Chevron. I was met at the pump by a lovely gentleman who got me the gas I came for, then wished me a nice day and thanked me for my business. I went to get gas yesterday, I pulled in waiting in line is as we all do everyday everywhere, a truck pulls in next to me and backs his truck up to pump heading the wrong way. There are clearly arrows on the pavement giving direction. Just one more impatient as+×÷×+. They told him he had to turn his vehicle around and refused him service. Then, a van with a trailer in the lane next to me were waiting their turn. They were putting ice in an ice chest, a Washingtinian came whipping around then and pulled to the first pump. The attendant informed them they needed to go out and come back around because the van was waiting to pull out. So very proud of of attendant for making people follow the rules and wait their turn. Customer service is amazingly slow. Over the last few months it's gotta terrible. Today 7/5/19 one worker short and almost bald walking very slow making a line of cars wait and wait and wait. Cars even backed out and left without getting gas. Let's see some hustle get motivated read more

Excellent customer service! The guy working there (Alan) was super friendly and helpful. We were having trouble finding propane for our rv (the guy at Space Age wouldn't fill it because he didn't want to go out in the rain) and Alan was great. Propane is 2.99 a gallon here, fyi. read more

For the record they close 15 minutes before 9. On two bar's 10 minutes until 9 wouldn't pump gas and very very nasty owner.

What would possess me to review a gas station you ask? Well for one this place went beyond my expectations in terms of keeping it clean. I almost ran out of gas around here and low and behold I make it into this station. Even though I've been to Oregon so many times I constantly forget that there's no such thing as self service. Every other time I've gotten out to fill up myself, I've gotten the evil "get back in your car, you're taking away our jobs and it's illegal to fill up your own car!" (Can't you see from my license plates I'm not from here?) Maybe I just have poor experiences? Well they were super friendly here and the gas jockey just let me fill up and we had a great chat about where a good place to eat was. The bathrooms were super clean and well maintained which is almost never the case when it comes to a gas station. Kudos! read more

Stopped by used the bathroom. It was the cleanest gas station bathroom ever been in. Karen in the store was extremely nice and very helpful.

Not only did they charge my debit card $71.30 for a fill up, but they ran a $100 hold as well. My bank said that if they faxed over a release; I could have my money back in my account. This guy named Royce refused. He said it was my bank's fault,even though my bank said they ran it twice. Of course it's Friday at 5:02pm. Now I'm screwed. Went to Chevron to fill up a gas can. The attendant wasn't paying attention and the nozzle fell out of the can and continued to pump gas all over the ground. I admit I wasn't paying attention either but I was still forced into paying the full bill of over $27 and my can only had a few gallons in it. Given the fact that you are not allowed to pump your own gas in Oregon I can't believe that I would be held responsible for the mistake. Very frustrated! read more

Just left the Chevron station. I needed a gallon of non-ethanol for my weed eater. The amount was $4.50. I went inside the store and handed the cashier a ten dollar bill. Expecting a five and two quarters in change, the cashier handed me a one dollar bill, three gold color dollar coins, a silver colored dollar coin, one quarter, two dimes and a nickel. I told him politely that I didn't want all this loose change, and his comment was that he gets rid of this stuff first. He stood firm and did not offer to take it back. SERIOUSLY!?! read more

The attendant Glen refused to fill tank past 3/4 full because he was too busy. I don't know if the owner is unable of properly staffing the station or if they were under the impression that Glen was capable of handling things by himself. I would have to say that there are other options in town that would be a better choice. read more

Wednesday I went to this gas station and proceeded to use my credit card, and requested $20 worth of gas. The attendant did not stop the gas fill at $20 and instead filled my tank, costing $45.41. Obviously, if I wanted this I would have asked for the fill the tank option. Now, I have an overdrawn account and will acquire multiple service charges. My biggest complaint, neither the attendant or the manager did anything to compensate me, let alone give me the time of day. Although the attendant was very nice, the manager was rude and insisted nothing could be done about it - no accountability for poor training or terrible service. Truly seems like a scam. Fortunately, Chevron customer service is working on refunding me my money; however, I highly suggest never frequenting this station. read more
