Live in Lincoln City. 7 yrs now and have seen this station go through many changes. The gals inside have always had good attitudes. And that says a lot working with the public. And for that reason alone I've kept coming back. I can buy gas many places in LC. I Do suggest your island folks start being A LOT more curtious with those spending their money at this station. 50 yrs ago my first job was a gas station attendant..So yes I know how some customers can be. What the heck!!!! Go here to get gas and the employee pulls out the pump while it's still pumping out gas and sprays gas all over the back end of the my car!!! Is it smart to put a dry rough towel on a car Noooooo scratches car and it doesn't even get the gas off the car. So now I have paid for fuel I never got, I didn't get a sorry from the employee, scratches my car and doesn't get even close to cleaning my car. I pulled in to get $30 of gas in my rental car. Gas jockey was an old guy who was so nasty to me that I drove off and paid 20 cents more a gallon at Chevron, just to not deal with that guy. The chevron guy was so nice, got me the 30$ of gas and actually thanked me for my business. I'll never go to Shell again if that nasty gas jockey is there. Not cool to be abusive to paying customers. read more

The staff here have been overly rude several times ive been here. From closing earlier than scheduled and hiding below the desk when customers knock on the door simply wanting to get gas... this place is the worst. read more

Shell - This guys squatted down while an elderly man knocked on the entrance door at 950 - Gas Stations Near Me - Lincoln City, Oregon

Stopped for fuel. I was met by the fuel pumper who looks like he hates life. He filled me up and then walked to my window and said sternly, "you're done!" My wife went inside to get drinks. Apparently an alarm went off indicating the tanks has less than 1000 gallons of fuel left. She said the other pumper then began screaming, " oh f@@@, oh f@@@ !!" Bye!! Not coming back read more

Stopped in this station this morning for some Coffee and I came up about 30 cents short. The cashier (Brian) told me and my wife not to worry about it and to have a good day. We didn't had the issues Howser did, and sounds like he might be prejudice towards overweight people anyway so discount his opinion! Anyway, twice while we were here I went in here to get my cup refilled, they do have Pepsi products and refill piices were real good IMO (.89 cents for the refill both trips here) and had real pleasant interactions both times here, so next time we are back in Lincoln City I think we would be back here, and I would recommend this place BTW. read more

Never had an issue until tonight, handed the pumper 5$ for gas while he's on his phone yacking his neck which will backfire on him when he catches on fire, then dude accused me of not paying him and started to take pictures of my plates. I told him yo if I was gonna hustle your dumb ass I would have got a full tank. I went into the store to see who they needed to call and tell lol and the guys comes up hands me my 5$ back and says sorry. Horrid location. So it's summertime, right? And you're in Lincoln City, right? TONS of cars on are highway, so you'd expect a functioning gas station. For starters, only one attendant outside to fill cars up. Then he tells you that you must go inside to pay. Then once inside, only ONE and completely incompetent/surly employee trying to ring up everyone (since everyone has to pay inside). So a long line of people buying snacks or trying to pay for their gas (no one remembers what pump they parked at). Start to finish it took 15 minutes. Yeah so stupid. read more

I'm not from Oregon. Young kid took my card and I asked to fill on regular. He did not say a thing. Never said hello, or offered to clean windows etc. When the fill was done he asked if I wanted a receipt. I said yes, he popped off "go inside and get it and walked away." Clerk seemed to be irritated that I asked for a receipt. Must have been a bad night for them so here is a review to reflect that. I do not know why Oregon will not allow drivers to pump their own gas. read more

First of all when we walked into the shell we saw a chubby woman in pajamas and a sweatshirt outside and we offered her money thinking she was homeless. She informed us she worked there. I was appalled at the woman's appearance so unprofessional !!!! Before we left we saw her pricing things in the store. I personally wouldn't touch anything she priced! The store was filthy! The bathrooms could be smelled by the registers! There is far less food options and products than the other shell in town. The one and only good thing about this shell station was the bright smile and funny conversation with the cashier. She was welcoming greeted us and reminded us to come again! If it was not for her engaging and warm attitude each time we stop in we would never get gas here! So keep that great lol blonde cashier !!! I went into the shell station at 230 today to get my 7 and 10 year old slushies. As soon as my kids started filling up, three employees were arguing. We were there less than 5 minutes and we heard the FU^* word 7 times. Two of the employees ( I don't know their names because they had no name tags ) we arguing bad enough they were going to fight outside. The third employee( a woman) who was only two feet from my 7 year old said " what the F*%k?". I was the one who said "excuse me, my children are right here". She then said "sorry". I told her they were being very unprofessional and she states " ugh, I said I was sorry. What else do you want?". I understand having a bad day like anyone else. But, if you cannot compose yourself when customers and their children are around you should not be working in customer service. Extremely unprofessional. read more
