Not sure why this business has gotten such low marks, except maybe they've gotten better? A lot of the low scores are from a few years ago. I've used them twice while passing through Longview, and both times have been great. Nice, friendly service, consistent movement even when they are busy, and a nice, clean outcome. The car wash was just fine! The vacuum we used after wasn't the strongest, but it picked up dry pine needles and loose dirt on our rubber mats just fine. Tried in January, February and March. There is NO detailing and usually no one to assist even getting coins back. I got 2 out of 8 coins that are unusable at this place. Bays not open - just one - and the others just steal your money and don't work. That includes using a credit card. The one day I drove by and saw someone, he noted that the ownership has changed, doesn't care, and won't fix anything. That's enough of this dump. read more

Washman does a decent job overall. The wash doesn't seem to leave scratches or swirl marks on waxed or well-protected vehicles, which is appreciated. I've also found that the tire cleaner option is actually worth the extra cost--tires come out looking great with a noticeable shine. That said, there are some drawbacks. The equipment is hydraulic, and on more than one occasion I've ended up with oil spots on my car, which kind of defeats the purpose of a car wash. My biggest complaint, though, is their hours. They often don't open on time and tend to shut down early. If they're going to post specific hours, they really need to stick to them. It's frustrating to show up during posted times and find the place closed. Sadly after waiting 35 min for them to open late, and after being a customer for years, they told me this morning their "main supervisor" said they can't wash my truck anymore as it's too big. So I won't be coming back and will be cancelling my monthly subscription for all my vehicles. Seems like the company has some questionable business practices. Maybe adjust your machines so you can serve more customers? We live in a community with lots of large 4x4 trucks. read more

I needed a simple wash. I might as well done it myself but since I'm disabled and almost 80 this isn't possible. When I asked one of the employees to inspect my car, he told me "Its as clean as we can get it". I asked if I could pass thru again he told me, "Sure, as long as you pay for it". Second time in two weeks I've brought my car through washman car wash, Longview WA. The front of my car didnt get clean both times. It looks like it gets sprayed with soap and wax but the cleaning brushes and rinse don't even touch it. This time there was also wax streaks, brush marks on the hood, I had to buff out. I bought the highest cost wash. I had to try two different vacuum hoses to find a working one. The suction could be stronger, it only gets up about 85% of the sand and pine needles from a camping trip. Most of the garbage receptacles provided were full, some overflowing. I had to walk around to find one that I could put my small bag of car trash in. I had to go home and vacuum again. And wash my car by hand. Waste of time and money. read more

ZERO stars. Longview location ruined the paint on our new car. 10 months old. 11,000 miles. Literally HUNDREDS of scratches all over car paint and plastic moldings ranging from 1/2" to 7" in length. 2 independent repair estimates range from $3000-$5000 in damages. Washman claims guy, Chris, stated "he can't see it" and "it's normal wear and tear" and "that didn't happen here". Returned the same day to file the claim. They say they don't see my car going through that day on their cameras. I have a credit card transaction stating otherwise. Car will need repainted in several spots and most plastic trim/fairings replaced. Forced to go through my own insurance and Washman claims no responsibility. Absolutely appalling and blatant dishonesty and crooked business practice. Don't do business with this place or it could happen to you too. read more

I was at the Longview Washman last Saturday around 5:30 p.m. bought the $9.00 car wash. It was the worst car wash I ever had!! It was like all it did was spray water. The car came out dirty. Before your prices went up you got a decent car wash for $8.00. If charging a buck more means you get an awful car wash then I won't do business with you. By the way two other vehicles went through after me and their cars were dirty too when they came out. My next car wash will be at the new Arco station in Woodland, their cars come out clean. I ran my wife's car thru the wash , paid fourteen dollars for a lot of missed places. Went back thru to show the spots missed and takes to the rudest young man I have meet in a long time. If this the kind of person you can only hire maybe the owner needs the be at the job more to teach them how to be at least respectful to the customers who try to be patient and show them the missed spots only to be told they won't come off. After leaving I went to the brushless car wash and tried it. It got the missed spots first try. The service sucked. They chewed me out loudly for not following their procedure exactly. Their instructions consisted of vague hand signals. They stopped wash halfway through wash and told me to leave and good day. New car, covered in soap. Talked to supervisor (Austin) who also yelled at me and invited me off their lot. Whoever is in charge should immediately get a new crew before they chase away all their customers. Will never recommend Washman and will tell all who want to know what unprofessional, inconsiderate, rude children work there and to completely avoid the place like plague. The manager who identified himself as Jimmy was very rude and hung up on me. I called to complain that the management was letting one lane only ahead and when it was my turn the arm came back down on my car because no one was managing the other lane who were crowding ahead of mine. They were also letting pickups with trailer hitches go through. Very poorly managed and hot headed when challenged. I have have a couple of other not so stellar washes there also. They close early whenever they want & we drive 16 miles to wash our truck. They don't answer the phone so you can see if they are even open before you drive there. The wash gets the truck really clean so no complaints there, just don't keep closing earlier then what you post online. 2 wasted trips, won't be back! read more

This is a nice and convenient drive through car wash that offers detailing also. I just use the car wash. One gripe I do have about the car wash... The only manual part of this process is lining the car up into the guides and spearing the pre-wash on the bugs, etc. the only part of the car that gets sprayed is the drivers side front and maybe door. The car came out no cleaner than when it went in plus now it has gunk caked in all the crevices. I took my Jeep to this wash man when it came out my car wasn't vacuumed and my hood looked like no one touched it. When I went back they said I would gave yo pay again to fix it. Then when it came out the same way. Than they told me if you want get scrub it would cost 50.00 I just paid 43.00 why. Don't go there if you don't want ripped off. Went to Washman in Longview and paid the 15 to have it washed and tire shined! No tire shine on the drivers side, fine went back through and again no tire shine on the drivers side! Now I go back a third time and the clerk said they won't do it again! It cost 15 I'm like so I paid for a service, he said no went in the shack and brought me tire wipes! Wrong answer for me buddy. I went in for a cash wash this evening at the Washman in Longview, WA and I just made the cut-off. They closed the wash about 10 minutes after I arrived. I have no complaints about the car wash. The brushes and sprays did a great job cleaning my car and leaving a nice shine as usual. Three levels of wash are available and I'm never disappointed in the performance of the wash. I've never had any problem with the customer service there, until now... I came out of the wash tunnel and I pulled around the corner to give my car a quick wipe-down and vacuum. I pulled the vacuum out of the holster and there was no suction. All of the vacuums had already been turned off. I got the attention an employee who was cleaning up the vacuum area and told him that I just got a car wash and I need to give my front driver's side a quick vacuum. He started yelling (yes, actually yelling) at me "We're closed!!" "We're closed!!" "What do you want me to do!!??" "We're closed!!" I was shocked. I didn't expected to be talked to in that way as a customer, but I still did my best to calmly reason with him. I asked him if he could turn on the vacuums just for a few minutes so I can use the vacuum service I paid for and he started yelling at me again "We're closed!!" "It's free!!" "You didn't pay for it!!" "It's free!!" "It's already been turned off!!" "What do you want me to do!!??" "What do you want me to do!!??" Even though the vacuum sign says "free" it's not really free. It's only "free" to use if you pay for a car wash. I explained this to the man and politely asked again if he could turn the vacuum back on for just a few minutes. That's when he became even more aggressive and started approaching me with a crazed look in his eyes yelling even louder "We're closed!!" And just when I thought it couldn't get any weirder, it did. Asked to drive past the pay stand now, then they treat you like you've already payed because they'll start to spray you and get you on the mover track. But that's not all. You go past the pay stand, so naturally you haven't payed and want to, so your window is down waiting for someone...you get wet because of that. This time specifically, there was no one that took our money, so the spray guy did. It's actually good he did because then we didn't get wet! Stopped here while traveling through to use a Chinook Book app coupon for a deal on the #5 exterior / interior cleaning. First off, they were not set up to take the CB app PLU code and wanted a printed coupon. I don't have that capability, but Aaron (a manager, I presume) totally took care of me so I got the same deal. (THANK YOU!) There were a couple of cars ahead of me, but I didn't mind waiting in the AC waiting room, which had a TV screen to watch your car. It also had a soda machine and a small play area for toddler/pre-school aged kids. It looked like multiple employees work on each car to expedite the process, so it didn't take long at all. I was very happy with the interior & exterior, especially the tires, and appreciated the guy who went went around spot-checking and doing a little touch-up in spots. However, as I drove into the sun, I could see that the interior windshield was streaked and wasn't clean around the edges, so I took one star off for that. I would go there again, and will take up the matter of the Chinook Book app up with Chinook Book. I feel like they shouldn't list a business that isn't set up to accept the code. To start it off I waited in line for a good 20 minuets. Now I'm not mad about the waiting whatsoever. I'm upset that the employees aloud a woman with a truck to halt the line to clean out the bed of her truck that was full of nasty sawdust. After 10 minuets they just decided to wave her through for the wash and skip cleaning the rest out. I was next in line, the employee came to my window to see what wash I wanted.
