She did not have a lot of money to spend but needed some major repair work to pass inspection. We were quoted a couple of thousand dollars at other chain places to have the work done, and most just wanted to sell us an extended warranty. Deer Lake Subaru quoted a price almost $1,500 less than the next cheapest price. In addition the folks were completely amazing. They were super friendly and had the work competed and the car back days ahead of schedule. Very happy with the entire experience. We later returned and purchased our own Subaru Forester and had an amazing experience as well and the car has been great. Would 100% recommend them to anyone for either service or sales, they care and stand behind they're business.

After our most recent visit, we decided it was time to take our business elsewhere. The issue wasn't that she was unable to provide the service we needed--we understand that not every notary can handle every situation. The problem was the unnecessarily rude and dismissive way she communicated that to us. A simple, courteous explanation would have been perfectly acceptable. After three similar experiences spanning many years, it's clear this wasn't just an isolated bad day. Perhaps this business has enough customers that losing a few doesn't matter, but treating people with basic courtesy should still matter. We won't be returning.

I can now get in and out of my car by opening the driver side door instead of going in thru the passenger side. The professional quality work, the kindness of Roger and the rest of the team impressed upon me to write this review. No pressure tactics were used. No up sells. No stress. I spent years searching for an auto mechanic who is competent, honest and reasonably priced. I…read morefinally found it at Auto Works LLC. My relationship began a few years ago when the A/C on my Mitsubishi quit. The dealer mechanic at Masano Mitsubishi told me the evaporator coil was leaking and would require replacement at a cost of around $2,300. I asked if they were sure that was the problem and they told me they were absolutely 100% certain that the evaporator coil was bad. I was just about to tell them to proceed when I thought, "why not see if someone can do the job cheaper?" A friend recommended Auto Works. Over the phone, they said they'd do the job for a little more than half the price. Sounded good to me so I dropped off the Mitsu at Auto Works. Now here's where it gets good. A day later the mechanic at Auto Works calls me and says "Greg, I don't think your evaporator coil is bad at all. I think it's just the compressor clutch." That sounded interesting. A compressor is a lot cheaper. But it gets even better. He said "I don't think we need to replace it, I think I can adjust it." Most shops these days don't bother trying to adjust; they just want to replace parts. Not here. Cutting to the chase, he adjusted the clutch, and charged me about $20 total. The A/C on that car worked flawlessly for the next 3 years until I traded the vehicle in. And that's how they made a friend for life. Since then, I've had all my vehicles serviced and repaired here. The quality of service and integrity is always top notch. Their mailing address says Birdsboro, but most of us would say they're in Stonersville, on Rt. 562 about half way between the Stonersville Hotel and the spooky pet cemetery. Look for the small sign on the south side of the road. The garage is up the driveway behind a house. The shop is quite large and they also do body and paint repair in addition to mechanical work. At first glance, this is the type of place that you might not go to without a recommendation. But now you have my recommendation. So check it out.

Joy was my service writer and she was pretty knowledgeable and there was another lady there that was helpful when Joy wasn't there. I did not need a diagnosis it was in for a simple distributor cap replacement rotor, and plug wires. They took it on their own to replace the spark plugs which they were replaced over a month ago and hit me with three labor charges, which that was a simple job and taken more than an hour to do. They took it on their own to do a diagnosis because I didn't listen charged me three labor charges and $792 later had to pay it I'm not happy. I hope people start looking at their from this place and pay attention. Also what they charge in parts is crazy. It is far more 30 to 50 places charged profit distributor cap and rotor should only cost around 30 bucks not over $100 sure places in business need to make a profit to survive they don't need to kill the public in profit and I feel for that simple job I got raped I also called a few other mechanics and they simply told me at the minimum $300 maximum $400 job. So pay attention to what you're doing and pay attention to your bills from this place because as I said three labor charges on job is for the birds.
