I have been meaning to write a review for a few weeks now. Desiree has changed our lifes for the better. My husband and I hired Desiree for sleep training in May 2017, and it was the BEST MONEY we ever spent! In our humble opinion, Desiree is a miracle worker. My daughter essentially sleep trained herself and was about as easy as they come, so when our son was born, we thought that we would have the same experience. How wrong we were. At 4 months old he was having major sleep issues and we were really struggling. We were not sleeping more than 45 mins at a time for weeks on end. My wife had gone back to work, and our son was not only waking us up all night, but our 3 year old daughter as well. It was nothing short of an absolute mess. We did some research and called Desiree, frantically explaining our issue. She was at our house within 48 hours and, from then on, our lives have dramatically turned around for the better. She helped our son get on a better sleep schedule and informed us of best practices (specific types of swaddling, scheduling, sound machines, etc) to assist in his sleeping. It really, truly works, and now we are all sleeping happily. However, be aware that sleep training a baby is a process, and can take a few days/weeks to erase the bad habits and establish the new habits. During that time, we were full of questions and anxiety. This is where I am most impressed with Desiree: the followup. She has been with us the entire way - it has been nearly a month since she came, and she checks in regularly. I text her if we have had an off night (sickness, traveling, etc) and she quickly responds and attempts to diagnose the situation. This is probably the best part in my opinion - the ability to ask questions and continue the process until it truly is a learned habit. In addition to being great at what she does, Desiree is also very kind and friendly. She will answer as many questions as you have, and I have never felt like I was bothering/pestering her - she really could not be nicer or more supportive. I am first time mom with twin girls. First month with them was... well, craziness and a blur memory now. They followed their own routines and needless to say - they were on totally different schedules. There were times I'd put one to sleep and few seconds after the other one wakes up! After a month of this craziness I started looking for help. I found Desiree and here it was - Sanity back to our lives! I don't even know where to begin. I am SO lucky to have found Desiree when my daughter was only one month old. She was crying from 8pm - midnight every night for 2 weeks straight and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. Holy cow! Having Desiree help our little baby sleep was a total game changer! Baby girl had a rough start, was very colicky and fussed constantly for 3 months straight. My husband and I were at our wits end with our daughter (second child) when she was just 3 weeks old. My first child had been in the NICU and therefore sleep trained by the wonderful nurses at Thunderbird. We did not have the same experience with our daughter... Our son was diagnosed with reflux, and had not slept more than 8 hours straight since he was born. Even the 8-hour nights though were long gone recently, and he was starting to wake up 5/6 times a night. He also was a super fussy/picky eater during the day and never napped. We would be lucky if he took (2) 30-minute naps a day and it was only after rocking/shushing/swinging him until he fell asleep. This is our second time working with Desiree and like the first time she was absolutely amazing. We were nervous about sleep training working with our second child because like many other families our oldest had activities and school. Desiree assured us it would work and she was correct.
