My wife and I had been struggling with our newborn for almost five months. Our baby girl never napped or slept well at night and was hungry needing to be fed every 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours max. Our baby was always cranky, would cry for sometimes several hours a day. Can't tell you how many times people said to 'man up' or 'give it time'. We would dread putting our baby down as it would take 20-40 minutes to get her down and then she would only nap for 30 minutes. This is a tough review to post, cus as much as I wish to say Desiree helped my 5 mth old baby sleep through the night with her magic schedule and consultation, it has been almost 2 weeks and my little girl still wakes up and cry at night. :( Desiree said her worst infant took 7 days to catch on to being able to sleep through the night. It gave us such hope that we can do it too. "Maybe just 1 week of hell and it will be over" we kept telling ourselves. Unfortunately, I think we might be breaking her 7 day sleep training record with this baby girl of ours. :( I cannot believe we are that family that cannot do this and failed her. We had our baby girl stay at home the first 7 days, doing her naps at home only. We kept every step of her routine the same all 7 days. We did all Desiree's suggestions as best as we can.. but we are still not quite there yet. :( It's been a really stressful and tiring 1.5 weeks now. My husband and I started getting disappointed by night 5, I cried for 5 nights straight with the baby. I read all of the books. I took classes. I met an angel and her name is Desiree! For all of you Dad's/Mom's out there wondering why your child won't sleep,thinking something is wrong or feel you are neglecting your baby in letting them cry, its worth the call. Let me tell you, this is the best money hands down I have ever spent and it was such a pleasure to work with Desiree. To start, my little one was not a great sleeper. She was colicky the first 3 months (barely slept) and then once we hit 4 month sleep regression it all went downhill from there. She also had acid reflex early on, so every time I laid her down she would lose it and her cry her head off until someone came and got her verses crying and eventually falling to sleep. From 4-6 months she had regressed so much she was waking 2-3 times a night to feed, then during the day I was lucky if I got 45-1hr combined between both naps. With such little sleep, getting things done around the house seemed impossible, and to add to the fun she was super cranky and whiny all day from lack of sleep. I had others tell me, "Your kid is just not a sleeper", so I had accepted the fact that this is how it was going to be and she just has FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) a long with a ton of stamina! Deep down I knew she was capable of sleeping more as I had seen her take longer naps at times and had even slept thru the night for us a handful of times. So one morning when I was exhausted and saw myself age 5 years in 6 months, I sought out help and boy am sure glad I did. Desiree contacted me back immediately and luckily had a cancellation so she was able to get me in quickly. She was very professional and on time and also made me feel so very comfortable right off the back. She is also a wealth of knowledge and you can tell how much she truly loves babies and what she does. She took the time to sit with me and get familiar with my day to day routine, how I was feeding her, how I laid her down and she also took the the time to evaluate the baby...how she eats, drinks, cries, goes down, you name it she took it all in thoroughly. From there Desiree gave me a new schedule to put her on, a long with food recommendations, helpful hints, and what to do from that very same day on. It was amazing, we instilled her new schedule that very night and have never looked back. I cant tell you how much of a difference it makes for someone to come and look at all you do and study your baby and tell you that your child is not in pain and provide you affirmation and guidance. Giving her the gift of soothing herself has been incredible! She now sleeps 4 hours a day, 2 hours in the morn, 2 hours early afternoon, eats like a champ and is soooo much happier! She is like a new child! My husband and I also get time to ourselves and get to enjoy our nights together. The first 2 nights she would wake and cry a bit but after that she became an all nighter per Desiree's schedule of 7am-7pm. We were in complete and utter shock! Such a blessing and miracle all wrapped into one having her sleep all night. Babies are so smart and know you will eventually come and get them if they keep making a fuss, once they realize no one is coming to get them, they get bored and go back to sleep or just play on their own in peace. Its so rewarding to see my little one now play and then fall asleep on her own for naps or if she wakes up night or day, she just plays and entertains herself. Desiree is seriously so good at what she does! She's reliable, very informative, and an overall sweetheart. She helped me get my 4.5 month on a sleeping schedule. Desiree is a miracle worker! I reached out to her two days ago to help me with a training program for my son. He is 5 months old and I haven't had more than three hours of sleep since he was born. Before meeting Desiree my 7.5 week old, Decker, was sleeping good at night but terrible during the day. We also had the lovely witching hour every night like clockwork once we put our 2 year old down for bed. Come to find out all our little man needed himself was to be put to bed.
