OCD Husband and I contacted Shawn in 2015 about updating our entertainment system. In 2017, the dream became reality, and we finally went forward with our humble project. Visit Evolution Home Theater, Inc.'s website -- truly, no job is too big, no home system installation is too small. This guy does it all. Literally. And he does QUALITY, PROFESSIONAL work. On the scheduled date, Shawn came in his really big, really bright red work truck with his guy, Friday (not his real name); their quality of work and customer service is friendly, patient AND professional. Shawn and his Assistant were respectful of our home. They wore shoe covers (its the Asian-remove-your-shoes-thing), and Shawn removed his boots when the work required him to go upstairs. OCD Husband was greatly pleased that Shawn did no damage to our walls -- no chunks of drywall missing, no damaged/scratched hardwood flooring or travertine tiles, folks. Our project was estimated to take two days, Shawn completed the work well ahead of schedule, in 1 day and 2 hrs. And that's with him carefully taking down the overhead cabinet to have more room to work so he can run/hide the cords, replacing the overhead cabinet and sanding down our existing, tightly-wedged-in-by-the-previous-home-owner, built in entertainment cabinet, to hide all the equipment in, so we have a clean, streamlined finished product. Shawn's line by line, specifically detailed quote of materials and labor costs attests to his excellent business integrity. No hidden fees, no surprises, and most importantly, ON BUDGET. When it came time to sync all electronics to the one remote that rules them all, Shawn did it correctly the first time around; he did have some challenges, but he has the intellectually savvy to figure it out and handled it like a BOSS. No need to call in the Geek Squad, the WORST dude is the complete package, folks. Brains and brawn combined in an honest, hardworking and completely self-sufficient package. He's not an Eagle Scout for nothing, folks -- really, he IS an Eagle Scout! Wait -- there's more! The cherry on top is that he's saving the earth, by offering an alternative to us tossing our old TV/electronics into the land fill. He is going to repurpose/recondition/refresh our old TV, DVD and sound system for his Technology for the Troops program; he completely donates his time and particular skills set. Who does that?!?! WOW. Can we give this man a big THANK YOU for helping our Veterans? Oh, and did I mention he and his lovely wife and family are animal lovers??? For all you PETA folks, this man and his family have their own mini-zoo; AND they rescued 5 feral cats, too! They cleaned up my HDMI/Ethernet wiring without me asking by running them through walls instead of the cord cover I was using. They had extra HDMI cable as mine was too short.
