James and his team are lifesavers!!! After getting new windows installed, we needed help getting our alarm system back up and running. James came out and gave us a reasonable quote, then sent his crew out to complete the project. I was so impressed with the crew's professionalism, getting everything rewired then sticking around to provide expert troubleshooting when one of the sensors wasn't working. They were really knowledgeable about the alarm system and were able to quickly figure out the problem with the master panel and get it resolved to get the alarm system working. It's very unfortunate to resign myself and write a review like this but thought it would be necessary to recommend caution when considering the use of LME. I've done plenty of business with them over several years and managed expectations to the extent they performed satisfactorily and delivered expected results. However, after the most recent upgrade (gave them another chance) of A/V and security to my home with specific guidelines and expectations, I've been left with no choice but to report they've finally disappointed me beyond mediocre. Premium pricing, poor record keeping and extremely poor post service quality assurance. Believe it or not, LME had the audacity to offer me an old useless audio remote control for FREE ($40 value) after 10's of thousands of dollars paid to them as if they was doing me a favor. Naturally, the remote was inoperable. Here's an example of the kind of response LME gives after expressing my displeasure and I suggest that "you decide at your own peril" if whether or not you want to take the risk like I did so many times. I'm actually partially responsible for rehiring them so many times and that I deeply regret. Response from LME: "Vinnie, There is allot I would like to say, but you have made yourself very clear that you don't want to hear it. So I'll keep this short. I'm truly sorry that you feel the way you do about me and/or my company. I do strive to make sure that everybody is more than satisfied with our services. As I see things I tried to give you a free remote and deliver for free too. Yes the free remote sat in our warehouse for years. I did look at the remote and I thought it seemed fine. We had very busy week and the remote didn't get delivered promptly. For that I apologize too. I wish you the best. James" My message about the audio remote issue: "James, The audio remote finally arrived today after several attempts under very deceitful conduct by you and completely understand why you couldn't go as far as to charge me for it. Like you were doing me a favor and that maybe I'll just go away. FYI- It was promptly discarded from damage to the device upon arrival. It was obviously not inspected given the filthy dirty sticky wrapping smothering the device along with rusted batteries leaving the remote useless and not in working order. Honestly, I do not know what I've done to deserve such treatment and disrespect from you. Perhaps a slightly critical email about your service?? So this is how you respond???? You never called since I questioned our approach to the most recent job from the aforementioned email which explains serious weakness in your ability to cope with minor adversity even with a long standing and generous customer of yours for many years like me. The audacious and unprofessional nature of such conduct by you and LaMesa Electronics leaves me greatly beleaguered. I've been a loyal faithful and frequent returning customer of yours for a long time and I am terribly disappointed with the outcome after everything I've done for you and paid you to help you achieve business success. This behavior of yours will not go unnoticed by the general population. PS. LME is the fastest check cashing vendor I've ever seen. Faster than Landscaping vendors. We had them install speakers in the ceiling and TV's on the walls and then hook up a variety of electronics to be controlled by a single device. Professional, competent, knowledgeable and experienced define James and his crew members who were ready and able to explain what they were doing, answer questions and satisfy our requirements. There was thick concrete to be cut through and cable that had to be wired outside and back into the home. Esteban did such an incredible job. He did an awesome job positioning the tv (without furniture) and preserving the integrity of the fireplace. James and Esteban were incredibly professional, timely, flexible and reliable.
