It took the manger well over 7 months to send for an approval request for the repair. So you can just imagine how nasty and smelly the bathroom had become. Once the request was sent for approval it was approved right away. Washovia came and did the repairs. The leak was repaired and the floor replaced. The men that did the work came on time. They did a great job !!!! Kept the area clean while working and when finished cleared everything up. Also after finishing, they took me into the bathroom and asked for my approval. Wow what a great job !!! There was at least 8" of snow and one of the men shoveled snow so I could make it to my car and garbage can and out the drive I was extremely surprised by their thoughtfulness. At 68 years old, it would have taken me at least a day to do all that. If needed for any other repairs, I would hope that the manger would continue to hire the same professionals again. My husband and I found out that our fridge wasn't working Monday evening. We were able to save the turkey and almost all our food, but almost called off Thanksgiving dinner at our home. Tuesday evening, Chad of Washovia, overheard me telling this to a parent at my son's basketball practice. He immediately told me that he had extra refrigerators in storage and that I could borrow one for as long as I needed. I was in complete shock at this generous offer! I called my husband who was at Lowes. The earliest they could get us a refrigerator was December 31st. Without Washovia, our family would have spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, and possibly New Years without a refrigerator. We have 3 growing kids and the thought of living out of coolers for a month or longer brought me much anxiety. On Wednesday morning we showed up to Washovia on Treat Highway with our friend's truck. Chad and his workers loaded the refrigerator for us and carefully strapped it down. Thursday, we hosted Thanksgiving like nothing had ever happened. I am so thankful every time I go get something from the fridge. I would highly recommend Washovia because they care. They go above and beyond to help others in need.

They sent out a man named Bill to my house to meet the insurance adjuster. Bill asked if I had decided on a contractor to perform the repairs. I told him that I was waiting to get the estimate from the insurance adjuster and I need to get multiple quotes from contractors before deciding. After he learned that I wouldn't give him the job without consulting with other people he just decided to leave. I asked him why he wouldn't look at the house and he told my insurance adjuster to the face that I already have a contractor. He then told me to my face that he wasn't going to estimate the job just so my friend could do the job off of his estimate. He would not even give me a business card and left. My girlfriend not believing how rude he was called him the next day personally. He told her the same thing it was extremely rude on the phone. He said that he would not deal with us as customers and only our insurance company. My opinion is that he was going to try and get as much money out of my insurance company as possible and do the repair first cheaply as possible and pocket the rest. Bill ruined any chance that SMB had for getting this job. The job was quoted for over $40,000 worth of damage. I can only hope that SMB finds this review and talks to Bill about why he was so unprofessional and rude. Bill if you're reading this I hope you realize that you were in the wrong and you've got a lot to learn about dealing with people.
