What a nightmare!…read more I'm typically not a review writer, however, when lives are risk of deception, potential health risks, loss of money and time, and additional strife, I feel compelled to share my story. It's been a nightmare, a ridiculous unprofessional, dishonest, unethical, and disruptive experience. There are not enough words to express the dissatisfaction as well as the risks Super Steamer had positioned. My experience is specific to water restoration. Super steamer failed to follow procedures of proper water restoration/ mitigation and in turn put myself as well as my neighbors at health risks. Their lack of preparation, qualifications and proper procedures has created a list of consequences which are means of a lawsuit. They left the job unfinished - no call, no check in, no show-- GHOSTED the job. While on the job they damaged my contents- piling contaminated contents on top of furniture further damage to contents. They piled and mix infected wet content with untouched contents in my bathtub. They failed to cover my contents before blowing 18 fans on floor that was full of remenents and water puddles. They left vanities with mold in the home. They left wet walls in tact that are now covered in mold. They tore out part of a wet ceiling without covering cabinets. It was a mess to say the least. We are now 3.5 weeks into mitigation which is typically a 4 day in and done process, still incomplete and mold has accumulated in the walls. Their lack qualifications, professionalisms, care and honesty on the job has created a situation that in which my neighbors in the complex (condos) will be inconvenienced with having to knock out walls. The neighbors now have to worry about potential health concerns despite the risk rate. Super Steamer will promise that they are qualified professionals and can complete a thorough and timely job, yet they lack employees. They are not equipped with a qualified crew. The list of disappointment by myself, my neighbors, insurance company as well as water restoration professionals is endless. The owner has dropped the ball with investing himself in his company- from the simple basics of proper lawful services contracted to the heart of what the job entails. I have had A representative of Super Steamer confess that the owner stated he would take the job, being qualified/lacking experience so he could nail a contract to complete the flooring. What a disgrace. This review isn't meant to be malicious. I decide to share my story to create awareness of the dangers of hiring Super Steamer. I would NOT RECOMMEND Super steamer. The company is unethical, deceitful in an effort of financial gain; full of broken promises in hopes they can slide under the radar; unprofessional- numerous no calls/ no shows. I hope to save others from health risks, loss of money and time, enhanced stress, and being deceived. It's been a nightmare of experience with Super Steamer. Please be cautious. Do your research before thinking about hiring Super Steamer.
