Came here while on a visit to my grandmother's. The service was excellent, the food was really good, and the covid restrictions were very securely in place. Our server was Shane and he was very helpful and attentive. He was also training a girl at the same time and she, I don't remember her name possibly Tiania, was lovely. They answered all our questions with no issues and even my grandmother who is hard of hearing a slightly senile didn't aggravate them. Which is a plus because she aggravates me and I work with the elderly. We got the trout dip appetizer which my grandmother loved. I didn't really care for it because it was cold but it wasn't bad. Just not my taste. I got the shrimp and grits, which was delicious. Nice sized shrimp and more food than I could eat. My grandmother got the Cesar salad with shrimp added and I was jealous that I didn't get it. My aunt got their version of the philly and I ended up eating some of it because it was so good. I hope to see this place again the next time I'm up there for a visit with more people and plenty of business. read more

Last week me and my husband and the in-laws decided to give the Eleven 80 Eatery a try because they had a special that looked so delicious. It was a BBQ baked potato. 3 of us got the potato and were disappointed there was a spoonful of pulled pork and no cheese or just a small pinch of it. The potato was the best part because it was cooked to perfection however it was suppose to be loaded with yummy ingredients and none of us got to experience it. Safe to say none of us will be back. One person got a pulled pork sandwich and they said it was very yummy. We might give the food truck a try but as for this place it's definitely a pass for us. read more

Time to update! Under new ownership and folks--to me it has lost its luster. Sorry to see the Lovejoy's go, but they still have the food truck on Grandfather mountain. Back to the new eleven 80, they roped off the patio so now only one way in or out. We both had the fish sandwich which was a frozen piece of polluck with a leaf of lettuce. I personally think MacDonalds fish sandwich would have been tastier. Naturally all the prices have gone up, but some of the small plates are gone as well as "Mahoney Bologna ". I went here after a App State football game, the place was packed and it was only a hour before closing time, this place is so freaking good it's not even funny, I had the crab bisque, and it would knock your socks off with how awesome it tasted, they had many bartenders ready to make any drink you could think of, the waiters were checking in every few minutes so there was no way you could go without a refill, the French fries were made just perfect, with a slight crunch and just the right amount seasoning, if you've got the time hit this place up, you won't regret it. read more

We just moved to the area and were looking for a good local spot. We had the pulled pork egg rolls, and the Brussels for our apps...absolutely delicious!!! The sauce they served with the egg rolls was so yummy, and the pork tasted so fresh, and they were fried to perfection. The Brussels had the most wonderful sauce, and were cooked just the way we like it! For my entree I had the chicken and waffles with shoe string fries. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the chicken and waffles was just fantastic. My husband got the Hawaiian flatbread and he loved it. The cocktails took forever to arrive. The fries and chips were friend crunchy so if that's your thing you'll love them. Ruben was decent. The flatbread was barely cooked on the bottom with the minimum amount of pepperoni you could imagine. The blackberry cocktail had nothing in it to indicate it had blackberry in it. First time trying it as I do not live in Boone. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Our service was fantastic. We had french onion soup - excellent and a Margarita flatbread - also excellent. I would definitely recommend. The little sitting area with the sofas and chairs is a very nice touch. Although there were a few televisions and some football on it's not a sports bar - which is nice. Our family was spending a few days in the mountains and based on Yelp reviews, we decided to try Eleven80. There is an outside eating area but I never do that because I just don't like competing with insects for my food. This has nothing to do with Eleven80, it is a personal preference. The inside is clean and attractive. We were seated promptly and the staff was friendly and efficient. They have a very eclectic menu worth perusing be for you order. Some very interesting and tempting selections. My 13 year old daughter ordered the Mac and cheese. It was ok, not great. Filed your belly. Probably wouldn't order it again. My 16 year old daughter ordered the pesto pasta with chicken. It was very good. Fresh tasting pesto and jumped on your taste buds. Definitely a keeper and worth getting. My wife got the flatbread which was covered with toppings. Delicious and would reorder. I got the Korean tacos. Unique and delicious. Sauces was a bit acidic for me which demanded a palate cleanse every couple of bites. These were awesome albeit and but rich bit would also reorder. At about $10+ per person, it's not eats on the cheap but with so many restaurants, you get what you pay for. We will be back. read more

This was our 2nd time here. The first time was great, but this time was not as great. There were 6 of us for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated outside and our waitress Charley was great! My husbands beer came out pretty quick, but my mixed drink seemed to take quite awhile to be delivered. We ordered our food and it took awhile. Three of us received our food and didn't want to eat as the other 3 did not have their food. It was at least 10-15 minutes before we all had our meals. I ordered the chicken philly which was good. My husband ordered the BBQ plate and said it was quite fatty. Two people ordered the chicken and waffles, which they loved. One person ordered the shrimp salad without onions and blue cheese and the salad had blue cheese. And the last of our party had the BBQ and brisket plate. He enjoyed the BBQ but didn't care for the brisket as it was tough. Not in a big rush to go back. read more

The smoked trout is to live for and the Brussel sprouts are just the best vegetable I believe I have ever tasted. The entire staff welcomes me as I am. No Jim Crow kick you out without a mask here. Tucked away in a cozy corner at #boonemall is Eleven80 Eatery. Every time we stop in and it we are great with a very warm welcome and friendly smiles. The atmosphere is very relaxing. For dinner anyways. It has a very cool modern vibe in a low key sort of way. The lighting is soft and modern. The bar is large and inviting and Christian is always there with a funny joke and AMAZING cocktails to offer. He is great at his craft. The food menu offers sandwiches and salads along with various flatbreads and appetizers. We love how they offer an almost topas style menu. Allowing you to try out some different choices. Tonight we had the fried Brussels. They are superb. Tossed in a homemade Korean BBQ sauce then drizzled with honey. I highly recommend them. Ate here in move-in weekend at App State. They were steady busy but not too busy. About a 12 minute wait for a table requested on the patio due to having a dog with us. A+++ for being dog friendly on the patio. The service was incredible, they were busy but we felt like we were the only customers in the place. Definitely team work with the service but our waiter, Davis was top notch. He brought water out for our dog, and just made it a point to check on us and offer suggestions/explanations when needed. Located in the Boone Mall but they have made the most of their space with great decor and lighting. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles which was actually a sandwich and it was incredible. My partner ordered chicken salad sandwich and the trout salad appetizer and both were out of this world. I will be back again and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a step up from fast casual, but not formal dining. We spent about $55 with food (appetizer, main course, 2 cocktails). This is a hidden gem, tucked away at the back of the mall in Boone. We found it on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it had a phenomenally high rating - it didn't disappoint. The decor is modern and upmarket. We had the local IPAs which was tasty and only cost $3 (a steal at that price). The food was excellent. We had the trout dip (great flavors and a little kick); an amazing flat-bread (probably the best I've ever had); lobster dog (certainly original); and greyere mac and cheese.
