The skillet chocolate chip cookie arrived a bit before both of our drinks, which was a bit odd considering we had waited probably 15 minutes without drinks. As far as the cocktails, we ordered the Cynar Old Fashioned and the Buffalo Heard. The old fashioned was good, though I didn't notice the flavor of the Cynar at all. It was very dry, which I like, but may not be for you if you like a sweeter old fashioned. The Buffalo Heard was light and refreshing, with a nice bit of the bourbon shining through. I just want to start by saying the service - THE SERVICE - here is phenomenal! My husband and I had Christy as our server and boy was she a delight. Attentive, sweet, and knowledgeable about the menu and decor. She was so accomodating of my dietary needs and made sure that everything was to my liking. Her recommendations for the fritters, veg flatbread and Beach Juice were absolutely delicious. She recommended the big pig, porter beer, and lobster dog for my hubby and he was so delighted with the food. The food was just as fantastic as the service and we will most definitely be coming back for more. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and cozy and the owner came and talked to us personally which was a kind gesture. She is also just fabulous. Thank you Christy for your recommendations and hospitality. We havent stopped talking about your sweet smile and the delicious food we ate. We will be back soon to see you! read more

Okay, so I checked out Eleven80 in Boone the other day, and it's got a really cool vibe. The place is super modern and stylish, but still feels cozy, you know? It's the kind of spot where you can actually relax and enjoy your time. The food was seriously good. I tried their Tuesday Taco Special, and it was amazing! Plus, they have a bunch of other options, from salads to sandwiches, so there's something for everyone. The drinks are great too they've got a good selection of craft beers and cocktails. Honestly, Eleven80 is a great spot if you're looking for a place with good food, a cool atmosphere, and a place where you can just chill. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in Boone. I'll definitely be back soon! read more

MLB had a hamburger steak plus sweet potato fries and green beans; comes with grilled peppers and onions and texas toast - you're basically getting an extra side for a quarter. I didn't feel like building a sandwich so I went with the Carolina burger sans chili plus tots - a very good burger as burgers go but nothing spectacular. will probably ask for the chili on the tots next time... maybe add cheese and onion? super friendly service and a reasonable cash-for-sustenance exchange rate makes me happy. the place is way clean inside and out which goes a long way when I notice. so if you're near here, go here. you'll be alright.

The ambiance is pleasant, with a nice setting and attractive views, but ultimately nothing memorable or distinctive enough to justify the positioning or cost. The food was acceptable, yet uninspiring. For the price point, we expected more refinement, creativity, and depth of flavor. The menu itself is very limited, offering few choices, which further amplifies expectations, unfortunately, those expectations were not met. The service was friendly, and the staff was courteous; however, the experience lacked polish and professionalism. The service felt casual and inconsistent with what one would expect from a restaurant in this price range. The wine list is minimal, with very few compelling selections, and the bar program is underwhelming. Cocktails and offerings feel basic, again falling short of what the pricing and setting suggest. Overall, this is an okay dining experience, but not one that aligns with its cost or reputation. With stronger culinary execution, a more thoughtful menu and wine selection, and improved service standards, it could meet expectations, but in its current state, it does not.
