Then when we get to the counter to pay we give each of our people $10 tip and he was RUDE. Scoffed and pointed at the paper as to give him more. This was a treat for me and my mom that was all I had. $10 each is more than 10% for $60 massages. Tips are recommended not required. It was very ungrateful. Let's start with the service itself: to get an hour and a half (90 minutes) it's supposed to be $45, I was charged over $50 and I was told that this was because "deep tissue" costs more. This was NEVER the case when Mark was there and it was NEVER mentioned in any ads prior or current. That should've been my 1st red flag! Now let's get to the masseuse: his name was Kevin and he proceeded to give me the WORST deep tissue massage that I've ever had. (1) he seemed to be offended by black people- yes, I could tell from his hesitant and standoffish behavior such as him turning up his nose and rolling his eyes! (2) he DIDN'T hit ANY of the areas that were causing tension in me such as my knees and right lower back! (3) his overall technique was that of a THAI/SWEDISH massage and NOT a deep tissue. His technique was COMPLETELY OFF!!!!! (4) the worst part? He FOLLOWED me around to "ensure that he got a tip." It was so bad that even the front desk noted this and was disturbed.
