A friend recommended me this place and wow! This might be my go to massage. I got Kathy, but if you can endure the pain that comes with the best satisfying massage, highly recommend!!! She does go on top of you and she uses her feet to massage, but she is a professional!!! She knew exactly where the massage was needed as she was using her feet. This massage is not for everyone, but like I said, if you can endure the pain, it's the best feeling ever! read more

I have been to this place three times, once with Patra, once with Noon and this last time with Jasmine. While all three women are the epitome of AMAZING and are all a credit to their profession and art, Jasmine will be my go to. I have chronic ache in my lower right back from a botched epidural years ago and it affects my day to day gait and in turn the way that i hold the rest of my body. She methodically undid a months worth of tension due to my motherly duties, weight lifting and a highly physically demanding job without hyperfixating on anyone of my 'knotted' spots. She checked in multiple times to make sure i was comfortable. GO SEE HER. Actually, GO SEE THEM ALL. You won't be disappointed no matter who you book with. read more

Ch'Chada Thai Massage - Front - Massage Therapy Near Me - Los Alamitos, California

Shoutout to Anna! Been needing a lot of extra tlc lately and what better way to get that than by a super relaxing and rejuvenating massage? Worth every dollar. read more

There is nothing more infuriating than paying good money for a massage, begging someone to focus only on your shoulders, and still walking out just as tight as when you walked in. Trust me -- I've lived that disappointment more times than I care to admit. Then I found Ch'Chada Thai Massage, and suddenly... no more bad massages. No more begging. No more silent rage on the table. They do such an incredible job on my shoulders that I can now actually enjoy full body massages -- which I never thought I'd say. And the best part? It doesn't matter who you get. Every single therapist is consistently amazing. I truly didn't believe places like this still existed... but they do. And now I won't go anywhere else. read more

Amazing massage from Nana I will be back soon! Came very sore and she really worked her magic. Thank you. read more

I've been here 3 times. Great service but today was the worse massage I ever had. I felt like I was getting beat up. Like my child could've did a way better job. And on top of that I never had to pay the full 80 up front when I go in. I don't know if I'll be coming back. I'm hurting way more. read more

It wasn't bad, but given we've tried numerous Thai massage places around OC, we found the masseuses we had to be mediocre. Front desk seemed to not be happy that we were tipping $20 for each therapist for the hour massage. We'll go back to the other places we've tried or other businesses in the area moving forward read more

I can't stop thinking about the way Aj fixed my back. I literally could not move. It hurt so badly it was affecting my breathing. She's so amazing I wanted to send her flowers. She really has magic hands and I can't believe how good my back feels after seeing her. I tell everyone about this place. I highly recommend. read more

Hidden Gem in Los Alamitos! I've been coming here for a couple of years now, and it's truly a hidden gem--tucked next to a delicious Thai food spot (perfect for after your massage!). The place is always clean, and the service is consistently great. Recently, they added a new massage therapist named Nana, and I absolutely love her! She works magic--gets all the knots out and really relieves the pain in my body. She's only there on Sundays and Mondays, but honestly, every therapist I've had here has been amazing. You really can't go wrong with anyone on their team. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality massages in a clean, welcoming spot! read more

Petra!! Thank you so much for the service and for respecting my comfort levels since it was my first Thai massage. I admit, I should've done more research but Petra was patient, kind, and understanding. I went in for the head, neck, and shoulder service originally but learned that I need to address my lower back too (office job). I admit it was painful sometimes, but that's because of the way I'm living lol, but afterwards I felt GREAT! I should've done this long ago. Tip: bring a tube top if you're like me and prefer some clothing. Also, I'm plus size and these tables are thick, not those portable ones. Parking is shared with other businesses and can get busy sometimes but I think you'll be alright. I recommend making an appointment, it was poppin' for a Friday morning. Again, thank you Petra + staff! read more

I tried talking to the front desk and reaching them via e-mail months ago. I received a massage that was stressful than relaxing. In the beginning of the massage, there were some misunderstanding on what type of massage I wanted. The main issue is that on the weekend, none of them knew how to speak English to the point they could not understand me. The masseuse was actually nice at first and I asked her about which massage I am doing and she nicely went to the front desk lady to ask. The front desk lady sounded so ANGRY and almost mean at the masseuse even thought I could not hear what she was saying. Whatever I said even when I complimented that this was my favorite massage place. The masseuse stopped massaging me and turned on the light. She showed me a paper and says "You chose this massage". Completely not what I was talking about. She would be aggressive with the massage by snapping my leg down. Also she might have thought I was asleep when she just lightly glided her fingers NOT massaging me. I then told her "I can't feel anything". After the massage I spoke to the front desk lady. I kid you not she looked SO mean and glared at me the whole time. I can tell that she didn't know what I was saying. I won't be coming back again because they failed to respond to their horrific customer service. My body felt... you know what. Do not go here. It is unfortunate because there were good masseuse here but the management is hostile. read more

Needed a massage so bad and decided to give this place a shot and I must say Nana did not disappoint she exceeded all expectations! I told her my shoulders and back are in pain and she targeted every knot! Walked in very sore and heavy walked out light and relieved. Found my new go to massage spa and would definitely look for Nana again! Aside from the massage service 10/10 .. the entire place was spotless and clean from lobby to restrooms. The spa smells good and rooms have a very calming soothing vibe. read more

The whole experience was very underwhelming. Front desk was noisy people chatting and laughing right outside of the massage area. Even though they have the sigh "Please lower your voice" Front desk person gave a weird vibe she walked me to my room and said "you know what to do right?" I was quite shocked and stunt for a few seconds. Then she proceeded to say "ok take off your clothes face down" How awkward asking your client that question. Yes I have been to various places but I still respect each place's individual routine. What a lazy question. She did not even bother to ask me how I would like my massage. Felt extremely transactional and not relaxing as it should be. Regarding my massage therapist, bless her heart she was sweet but the massage was terrible. She couldn't follow my request accordingly. She didn't even massage my hand as I asked for. She also hurt me by pressuring my bones instead of muscle but then no enough pressure on the problem areas. I walked out feel just as stiff and not better. My skin is now super irritated... Very sad. I had high hopes but unfortunately I don't see myself coming back here. Why paying to get tortured?.... read more

Best massage I have ever had. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good deep tissue massage.

I can't speak for the other massage therapists but I can 100% vouched for AJ. Been here 3 times and it just keeps getting better. I don't know about yall but I've had tension and knotts where it caused painful migraines. If you ever had one, it's at a level 10 where you can't even put food down. It. Was. Bad. AJ really dug into my neck and shoulders and did her best to navigate the knotts, it relieved so much pain. Never been more grateful to have crossed paths! She's amazing. Highly recommend this place and definitely book her!!! Friendly & understanding and she's even given me tips on how to stretch in between sessions. If I could afford an appointment every week I definitely would!! read more

Paula was great. Covered all areas necessary, i left very relaxed. I come to Ch'chada regularly, she is one of the best.

The ultimate in service--the very best traditional Thai massage. I highly recommend Noon she is a true healer.

As a jiu jitsu athlete I'm constantly dealing with small injuries. About two months ago I pinched a nerve in my back that radiated all the way down to my hand. Although I believe acupuncture works and enjoy it , it just wasn't helping . A friend recommended this place and AJ primarily. That was the best 90 min investment I could make for my body. She is incredible. I will be making this a regular for post jiu jitsu recovery read more

The massage itself is amazing. I always leave very relaxed and pleased. The booking system though is not as helpful though, most of the time I have to end up calling to make an appointment rather than doing it online. Last time I called, lady made an appointment for me for 3/31 instead of that day.... when is hoed up she caught her error and had me waiting a bit longer and didn't even offer a discount or smthg for her error... I would have done it if that was my business. read more

"DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW" I really don't want you to know about this place. You booking my favorite Thai Massage Therapist means less slot for me to book her. So do not read this review. I love Thai Massage. I've tried many Thai Massage locations in Orange County (SN Thai, Lebua, Thiptara, R&R, Fountain Thai, Nuad Thai, Panwa Thai, and etc.) Among them are my top 3 Thai Massage Therapist and my number 1 is at this Ch'Chada Thai Massage place. Her name starts with letter "J" and ends with letter "e". She only works Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday as of recent. But I don't want you to know who she is so I'll refer to her as "J" from here on. All day yesterday I had a sharp pain on my upper back from sleeping weird. With a little movement to certain angle, a very sharp pain ran through my body. All I could think about during work was that I need to book an appointment with "J". So today, I got 90min Combination Massage by "J". Her technique hit every spot that needs to be taken care of. My back pain was gone. Just like that. My back felt so great that I left her 40% tip with the front desk. The place is bit pricey compared to surrounding Thai Massage place, but you get clean private space with massage table that can accomodate huge person like me (I'm 6ft tall.) Plus they have "J". Worth every penny. I don't want you to do it but I would recommend booking "J" in advance on their website if you want to experience the best Thai massage you can get in OC. Thank you Jasmi...I mean "J"! #sundogram read more

I used to have a Massage Envy membership, and that ended once I went to Ch'Chada. I have experienced 3-4 of their expert massage therapist, and they were all outstanding. I always choose the 90-minute Thai Deep Tissue option as that is what my body needs. Every time I leave, I feel a body rejuvenation that is hard to describe. Going into the new year, I intend to schedule a session once a month as part of my new wellness plan. Honestly, it is worth every penny to feel this much better. RT read more

What a lucky find! I had an unfortunate experience at the beach that resulted in pain in my right leg. I thought I had aggravated an old hip flexor injury. But the pain was radiating all around my leg from my hip flexor to my hamstring and down to my calf. It hurt to sit, lie down and walk. Add to that, I was about to head out for another cross country business trip the next day. Agony!!! My husband did a little research and found Ch'Chada who wonderfully had a same day appointment available. I'm always pretty tense and my muscles are always achy so massages are essential, but I don't have time to get them often. I've had a Thai massage before so I was happy to book a session, knowing that a deep tissue massage would be fairly uncomfortable. Thai massages are definitely not for people who don't like hard pressure. They really get in there. My massage therapist was skilled and strong! I also hadn't realized that I was still pretty flexible, lol. An hour after I arrived, I left slightly sore, but with a less prominent limp. I wasn't sure if it worked or if I made it worse. But the following day as I was walking through the airport, I noticed that my leg wasn't painful anymore, it had downgraded to soreness. I didn't think it was possible, but the day after that, I had no trouble walking through city streets and up and down stairs. Miracle workers! They offer a few different massages and I can't wait to go back! read more

Today, as I was walking into this establishment to reschedule my service, a man driving a big blue truck drove in front of my walking path. He abruptly stopped and stayed there. No parking was there for him. I began to walk around the truck but the driver kept backing up, pulling forward, and truly I think he was being a racist. I finally was able to walk around the back of his truck. Before I could even really get passed he heavily accelerated on the gas and drove his truck backwards and it was too close for comfort. I walked away upset but then I saw him go into the massage lobby. I followed and I rescheduled my appointment. The driver had already gone to the massage room. I confronted what looked like his daughter but was his wife (as she explained)* and told her that her dad or husband was driving really aggressively and it's not ok because he could have hurt me. He should know that. She held up a triple six sign and smirked and told me to have a nice day. I asked the lobby worker if there were cameras, she said no, couldn't even make eye contact with me. Then she chuckled. I want to cancel my appointment but they will charge the entire fee . I feel extremely uncomfortable getting a massage here and as an African Amerikkkan* woman, I will not return. Do with this information what you will. The way the staff was unwilling to help a customer is quite disappointing. read more

I've been going to Ch'Chada for a few years and have seen several therapists, but Noon really stands out. She's intuitive, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. She understands how the muscular system connects and knows exactly which areas to work on to release tension elsewhere. Her pressure is great, and she actually allows you to breathe during compressions, which makes the massage much more comfortable and effective. Just be sure to communicate what level of pressure works best for you. Also, cash tips are appreciated, so plan ahead. Highly recommend Noon if you're booking here! read more

I would say it depends on who you get. The first two times were good for me. However, when I came back a few days ago, I didn't get the massage I wanted. The masseuse hurt me a few times, and I had to tell her to stop. Overall, I didn't feel that the massage was worth what I paid this time and it was kind of more stressful than relaxing. read more

I had been having a painful stiff neck for a few days and finally decided to get a massage to smooth out the kinks causing my pain. I stopped to check for availability after another appointment and luckily they were free. I got a whole body deep tissue massage for 60 minutes, which included a lot of manipulation: it felt like my joints were being pulled apart but in a good way. I imagined being put in those Thai dancer positions because my arms and feet were bending in ways I would call unusual. The room was darkened to relax you but not creep you out, the massage table itself was toasty warm and comfortable. After a massage I usually feel disoriented and slightly confused plus very burp-y. I read someplace that means you got a good massage. Thanks to the manager Joyce (she also let me know about current deals) and AJ who worked on my neck issues. read more

I was looking for a new massage place and came across this one on Yelp. My mom and I went today and we fell in love! I was so relaxed I fell asleep. We got the combo massage since we are newcomers. I definitely do not regret my choice! We will definitely be returning, I have an autoimmune disease that makes my muscles tense up and it's constant pain. Today I left with no pain whatsoever. It feels like a miracle. Please do give this place a try you will not regret it. The price is about $20 more than usual massage parlors. This one definitely fixed the damage from the last massage place I went to. Also very relaxing environment, very clean and they give you tea afterwards :) I'm so happy with this find. I can't believe I waited this long to book my appointment with Ch'Chada Thai Massage. After getting so frustrated and annoyed with my tense back and shoulders, I made the decision to trust Yelper's reviews and I'm glad it was the right decision. I would recommend booking through Yelp so you are able to choose the masseuse of your choice (if that's a preference). I believe if you book on their website, you don't get to see which masseuse you'll get and it requires a card to be on file to confirm your reservation. If you can pay and tip in cash, that would be the best so you can get a small discount. It looks like they've been reading reviews and don't require you to tip upfront before service anymore. I like that the business doesn't keep the tips to themselves and puts your tip in a separate envelope for the masseuse. They also offer gift cards and massage packages which is obviously a good deal if you can afford to pay that upfront. If you're looking to get all loosey goosey and mobile again, I recommend booking an appointment with them. Support this local and women owned business! || L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Cross streets are Katella Ave. and Los Alamitos Blvd. -Medium sized parking lot with plenty of spots -Located in the same plaza as Thailusion -Came in on a Tuesday afternoon and the lot was probably around 60% full || S E R V I C E || It was my first time getting a Thai massage so I decided to play it safe and only get the 60 minute deep tissue massage ($75 cash + tip). AJ was my masseuse and she was fantastic. She asked me where my problem areas were and to be honest, since my massage has been long overdue, I felt like I literally said everywhere (my lower back, upper back and shoulders). However, as she did her magic, she found that it was my shoulders and neck that needed the most work. I appreciated how she asked me if I wanted to get my back stepped on as I was more on the petite side. I explained that it was my first time so I wouldn't mind trying it. No pain, no gain, right? Well, it was a good type of pain so it was worth it. I felt so relaxed and sleepy after the massage. My mom's masseuse was Aliz and she had nothing but great things to say about her. If you're a new customer and you're not sure who to go with, you can't go wrong with AJ or Aliz. read more

Couple days ago, I had a sharp needle pain on my right thigh and cold hardly walk. It was like sharp needle poking every times I changed my positions. My friend recommended me to have a massage therapist, At first, I was hesitating cause it was so painful to touch it , but then it was getting worsen. So, I finally went to see A.J for the first time. She checked my thigh and started working on it about 15-20 minute. It was pain for the first ten minutes then I felt somewhat less pain right after massage. I took Tylenol and rest after I got home. The next morning the pain was 50 % gone and I can walk without pain but still felt slightly stiffness. The second day, the pain was completely disappeared. AJ is so amazing to cure my right thigh. AJ knows Thai Massage techniques and know how to work on individual's needs. read more

This place is exquisite. I love the calming vibe when you walk through the door. I was immediately greeted by the front desk and after paying, she walked me back to my room for my 60 minute prenatal massage with AJ. It was (hands down) the best massage I have ever had. She knew exactly where my tension spots were and focused on those areas. The massage tables had a low level heating pad underneath at the perfect temperature. The sheets and pillows were soft and I felt comfortable in my positions despite being 5 months pregnant. The cleanliness was top notch! A little pricey but you get what you pay for. I will certainly be back to see AJ! read more
