W Massage - Massage Near Me - Los Alamitos, California

This is my go-to massage place. I have been here several times and will continue coming here. Wendy is the owner and I believe the "W Massage" might be named after her, but I'm not sure. Just a wild guess lol. Anyway, Wendy and "Yoyo" are the best! The service is impeccable and Wendy responds via phone and text right away. They are incredibly nice and good at what they do. I get their $55/hour body massage (comes with hot stone), but they have different types and price points. They have 75 and 90 minute massages as well. They have about 6 private rooms and one couples room. It is very nice and clean inside. Thank you for a relaxing experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great massage. You can pay cash or there is a $1 charge for credit card. read more

Came back today with my sister. Let me start off with trust the process. I had Lindon and she was amazingg. My sister and I got the combination for one hour, 30 mins deep tissue and 30 mins foot massage. At first the deep tissue was hurting but I could feel all the knots in my back loosening up. Its been almost a year since my last massage and I just moved so I knew my back was knotted pretty bad. When the 30 mins for the deep tissue on my back was done, I felt so refreshed and all the pain in my back was gone. Then Lindon, went and got the hot stones, put a towel on my back and then left the stones on me. Let me just say its one of the best feelings in the world. She moved on to my thighs, calves and feet. I have flat feet which cause me to always get knots in my calves. At first the pain was pretty bad but I held out. Now I'm not gonna lie, after the massage I still felt pain but when Lindon used the hot stones on my calves wow. All the pain was gone. I honestly feel like a new me. I got my massage at 2:20pm. I usually wait a few hours before posting to make sure I don't have any pain after leaving and safe to say my body still feels relaxed and refreshed. I will be back! read more

W Massage - Punch Card - Massage Near Me - Los Alamitos, California

Went here a couple weekends ago while on call in the area. It's definitely an unassuming sport, but I'm really glad we were able to fit it into our schedule. It's located right next to a popular brunch spot, so you could easily make it a relaxing two-in-one kind of day. Fortunately, we were able to get an appointment within the hour. After confirming availability by phone, expect to receive a text message to officially confirm the appointment. You can also book online, but keep in mind that online scheduling closes an hour before appointment times. We booked a couples massage and the room was quiet and comfortable. We each paid $45 for a 40-minute full-body massage (you pay first), and it was honestly one of the most relaxing massages I've had in a while after months of built up tension. It felt thorough and unhurried, and they'll work through your tender points. They also included hot stones at no extra charge, which was such a nice surprise as I haven't experienced it before in a massage. We also both received complimentary water at the end. The shortest session available is a 30-minute deep tissue massage so it could definitely be fit into a work day. Another perk is that they have a stamp card, and after 5 visits, you get $10 off. There's a parking lot behind the building, and even with the brunch crowd next door, we had no problem finding a spot. One small thing: the rooms are semi-private, and we were in the back, so we could hear a soft timer/music noise from a washing machine or dryer nearby. This wasn't a dealbreaker for me personally, but something to be aware of. Overall, a really solid spot for a massage. Great price, kind staff, and easy to book. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again. read more

I'm not sure I'll be back here. The customer service is extremely curt and abrupt. I would even say rude. I've been here a few times to buy gift cards and once for a massage myself and it's been rude each time. There are no questions about your health or injuries, no questions about any preferences you have for your massage. I've had about 100 massages in my lifetime and I love a massage that is deep tissue and really targets trigger points and tense areas. I've had great massages that even left me bruised but were really effective. This massage, however, was just really painful. Like skin pinching, intensely painful. It seemed like a problem with the technique. It may just be the massage therapist I had, but based off the poor customer service, I don't think I'll return. read more

It was a great value massage, can't beat the price. I feel more relaxed. Few feedback: - The cushion for the face was so minimal my jaw started to hurt a little laying face down. - I felt really warm and stuffy during the massage which I communicated a few times and they didn't remove the thick blanket. They did turn the heating pad off on my request. - I didn't opt for deep tissue but it felt like one and the 90 minutes felt long because it felt repetitive. Overall I think the person who I had was really new. I'll give it another try with someone else. It was a great value though. read more

Great massage. Got the foot massage (my fave) but they don't soak your feet first so it's not a traditional reflexology massage. Regardless of that the quality was good, the studio was super clean, you get a private room, and it was quiet and relaxing! read more

I use Norwalk Blvd to travel to and from work every day so I always see this establishment.Lately my back pain has been terrible so I decided to try W massage out. I booked with Wendy as a walk in. Great service from Wendy and the team here. She always makes room for same day requests and you can't beat the price. Hot stones are a must!

My friend gifted me a gift certificate and I made my way there today. Let me tell you it was the best massage I have ever received! Booking was easy. Staff was friendly. Options were well explained. I had the deep combo massage. I walked out of there so relaxed and bliss. I'll definitely be back. You can't beat the price. Thank you. read more

After a long, exhausting 12-hour shift, this is the only place I can count on for a relaxing escape around 7:45 PM. From the moment I walk in, I'm greeted with a clean, quiet, and cozy atmosphere that instantly makes me feel at ease. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The deep tissue massage is exactly what I need to relieve tension and soreness--it's firm yet soothing, and they really know how to target the right areas. Parking is super easy, which is a huge plus after a tiring day. Overall, this place is a hidden gem for anyone looking for a peaceful and refreshing massage experience after a long shift! read more

W massage is a great place! Today was my first time there, I was greeted by Wendy who was nice and professional. My therapist was Judy and she had the perfect touch, not too light and not too hard. I would highly recommend W massage to anyone. I'll be back. read more

I've come here alone or to do a couple's massage. I love that they have private rooms rather than curtains. They are always friendly and have very competitive rates read more

My second time here and just as great as the first time! Again, I was immediately greeted by Wendy. This time I got a 90 minute. I thought I was gonna pay $75 for 90 minutes but when she asks if you want regular or deep massage. Please note the deep massage is $100 for 90 minutes. Which it does state in the pricing sheet. I just didn't understand. Let me tell you that, and I get massages frequently, when I get a deep massage. I always leave wishing it was deeper. NOT with Zoey. She got allll my tight knots. She asked if it was too hard and I was like NO-It feels GREAT! Thank you Zoey for relieving my tension. It's always nice to get a small water bottle at the end too. I look forward to coming back! read more

Deep tissue and abdomen massage, heaven! It's a clean, pleasant environment and the therapists are very professional and kind.

I found this place on Yelp and I was looking for a good place to take my mom out for Mother's Day. I was looking for a decent place but I also didn't want to spend $600 on a massage so this place seemed to be my best bet. I called to schedule an appointment and they said okay and hung up.. I was not asked for my name, what service I wanted, what day or time I wanted to come in or how many people, etc. I then received a text message around 10 or 11pm asking me these questions so I thought that was pretty odd. The day of, I had gotten a bit lost and I showed up about 5 to 10 minutes late but they were very accommodating and understanding unlike other places who would've charged you or taken time out of your service. I was asked to pay upfront before the service and personally, I tip based on price but also service so I'd suggest you bring some cash to tip at the end. So, about the massage. It was one of the best massages I have ever received and the price was great. I felt super relaxed and all the pain in my body was completely gone. What I wish was different, was the rooms. They were semi secluded. Meaning, you could hear everything going on in the other rooms. Totally not the establishments fault but at times it was hard to relax with people talking or making noise. Also not sure if it's available (as it was not made known to me) but I would've liked some aroma therapy or something to make the rooms or the oil smell nice. Overall it was a great experience and I enjoyed myself very much. More importantly, it was probably the best place to get the most out of your time and money. read more

The experience here is just amazing. Walking out of this place feeling well relaxed. As always, the people who takes care of me are always nice. I will return when the world drains me down. This is my place of sanctuary. See yah! Next time I'll post a photo read more

I took my mom a week before Mother's Day and had a pleasant experience. I made reservations a few days before and we had a massage in the same room. I paid before entering the massage room but asked if I could wait to tip until after and the lady said it was okay to do so. I had the deep massage for $100, 90 min and my mom had a regular massage for less money. The room and linens were clean and smelled good. It wasn't the quietest of atmospheres - you could hear cars outside and the laundry going, but it was okay. Parking could be a challenge in the back lot - we got lucky with the last spot available. We both enjoyed our massages very much and are definitely going to come back another time. read more

They expect a tip for mediocre job. My masseuse was falling asleep throughout my massage session. She was more relaxed than I am. I had to keep moving my feet just to wake her up. read more

W Massage - Massage Near Me - Los Alamitos, California

Finally found a new massage place for me and the hubs. We used to go to royal spa in cypress but the quality of service and being pushy on the tips pt us off. Called tonight for a couples massage and the lady was super nice and accommodating. Only 10 mins from our house and the plaza has lots of parking in the back. Front lobby looked nice, clean, and welcoming. The lady asked what we preferred and their pricing was pretty reasonable. Chose the combination massage and she asked if we preferred separate or same room. Massage room was clean and comfy. My Masseuse was great and she found all my knots and worked it all out. Overall a standard massage and I didn't come out feeling like k was beat up. The hot stone was included and felt amazing. Definitely going back for our monthly massage date. read more

For the price nothing can beat this place went there today go r the first time I have spent loads of money before for a massage half as good I loved Judy she was sweet and really took but her all into it now I can be in less pain tomorrow for work ! Highly recommend read more

Okay let's begin with the positives (reason for the two stars): 1. I called around noon on Father's Day and they were able to take me in immediately. Big plus there as I was thinking it may be hard to get an appointment same day on this holiday. 2. The masseuse used a different technique on my upper back around the shoulder areas that felt really good. Felt like she was getting out all the knots as I just played some golf the day prior. That's it. Now for the things that can be worked on: 3. They made me pay up front. Which is odd because how would I know how much to tip if I didn't have the massage yet. I just gave the standard 15-20% but could have been more if the service was amazing...but unfortunately it wasn't. 4. I paid for the 90 min massage and the first 30 minutes the masseuse was just literally using her hands to apply pressure on my back with a blanket over me (almost like a substitute for when they step on your back and use the ceiling handle bars for balance). I felt that could have been cut down to 10 mins max. 5. Throughout the entire massage the room door is cracked open so you can hear folks walking back and forth, workers on their cell phones, and there was this one worker that kept coughing every 1-2 minutes. It really placed a bad vibe on the entire experience. Can't be relaxed with that type of disturbance. 6. Lastly, once the massage was over I checked the time and I didn't get the full 90....it was more like 80 mins. Overall the massage experience was underwhelming as I've been to other establishments that are a bit cheaper with better service. read more

Overall, great massage and even better service. First time I came in, it was 30 mins before closing and they were more than happy to do a full hour. Establishment is clean and well-kept. read more

The lady that massage me is so fast she didn't even massage my head and may feet and hands. the massage by KC was so good. Got rid of my stiff shoulder. Place is super clean. Love the individual rooms.

I don't know what to say. This boss does what he says is different from what he says. I've been here many times, and not once have I been satisfied. Every time he says I'll do better next time, but every time I'm disappointed and he asks for tips every time. And every time their boss is on the phone while doing work, I can't do my job well and I can't enjoy myself. read more

Been going here for years. By far the best massage around. Clean. Nice friendly people. And all are very skilled at giving a great massage.

We did a couples massage, his was deep tissue $70 and mine was the basic $55 one. It was definitely not an hour massage it was more like 50 min... Also, they DEMANDED WE TIP and wouldn't let us leave until we did so. I said ok and zelled her $15 and she claims she never got it and tried getting me to send it again but i showed her receipts. Eventually my bf gave her $15 cash so we could finally leave. mid and taxed massage place NEVER GO THERE!!! 0/10 read more

Fantastic massage! The room was clean and the bed was heated. The lady asked if pressure was ok but otherwise just got on with the massage without any chatting (which I love). Wierd activity going on here. I would not recommend coming here. Set up appointment, when I got there they looked at me then locked the doors then sent me a text saying they closed despite texting me me to verify I came at the time they told me to come. One of the best massages I've ever gotten. So relaxing but also focused on my pain points and knots. I can't wait to go back in a week.

My first time here & I'm surprised with how little reviews this place has. As a walk in I was taken in right away. I went in for jus a foot massage & I thought it would just be a regular one like other places, but EVE was great! She was attentive and worked in b/w my toes (idk many places that do that not have I ever had work done there) & she also finished my giving me a brief hand massage too. It was like she read my mind! Very detailed and she took her time. Definitely a returning customer! read more

W Massage - Took this from another Yelp-er - Massage Near Me - Los Alamitos, California

Massage was good would go back again. Convenient location and quick service. Semi private rooms

Was looking for a massage place close to home and stumbled on the reviews for this place. I'm very picky about massages, so the reviews sent me here. I called to see if there was walk in appointment available but no answer but literally after I hung up I got a call back. The woman said she was with W Massage and apologized, she even texted me the address. I walked in and was greeted by woman who called me, turns out it was Wendy. I asked for the 1 hour deep tissue, I asked to focus on my back and shoulders - it was truly deep tissue. Wendy helped relieve a lot of my knots, I'll have to go back to rid me of all of them also ran out of time for my front because Wendy focused on my back. I'll be back for sure read more
