There were a lot of dining options around, but you know what? I wanted a burger. I swung into Elevation Burger, eager to try it as I'd never dined here before. Was the burger good? Heck yes. Was it worth the price? Heck no. For just over 13 dollars, my classic "elevation burger" was just about the size of a Big Mac. Not really the "elevation" I had in mind. That 13 dollars also got me a side of fries and a medium fountain drink. While the burger WAS delicious, I can't hardly begin to justify that price for a fast food joint, unless it's absolutely top notch, which Elevation Burger isn't. The fries were rather lackluster, and a fountain drink is just standard fare. The good tasting burger can only get you so far. I ate here for the first time on July 1. I was happy to see that they offer veggie burgers as an option because I do not eat meat. I ordered a veggie burger and of course told them what to put on it. I also had a delicious salad and a strawberry shake. I was surprised that the burger came to me with a cold roll. They did not warm it and it never occurred to me that they would not have just naturally have warmed the roll. That was my only turn off. Nice add to the "homemade" burger category and a terrific add to Hyattsville. Had the cheesburger (one patty) with the "original" fixin's and fries. Burger was good. Bun was nondescript. Sauce didn't add too much, but overall tasty. The fries were skinny (rather than the fat ones at 5 guys) and cooked in olive oil. Good, too. And double-two thumbs up for the root beer. And I guess you can have a float, too. Nice and crowded with tons of families for a late Saturday lunch. And I bet it will be popular with the DeMatha boys across the street, too. read more

Unlike five guys where the ingredients form a soggy ball-like burger that falls apart, EB's creation is perfectly balanced! I used to be skeptical about the whole grass-fed beef deal, but I can honestly say that, after eating two of them, I did not feel the itis at all! I've been here a number of times. Burgers, fries & milkshakes are always good. Food always comes out fresh. I definitely don't feel like grease is running through my veins when I indulge in the offerings at Elevation Burger. I was somewhat skeptical of the 'healthy' burger, but it is really good. The variety of options for toppings on the burger is to my liking. Fries have always been hot & very tasty. They sort've remind me of the fries at Boardwalk Fries, but without the grease.I fell in love with the black cherry milkshake. That's definitely my go-to move. I love this place! I am honestly usually not a big fan of burgers but my boyfriend was really craving some and insisted we should try this. I reluctantly went and ordered a cheeseburger to which I could ass my own toppings. The service was definitely quick but I wish the cashier had more knowledge of the menu. I asked him about their special sauce and what was in it and he wasn't really able to tell me what it was. Regardless, I got my order and took one bite and fell in love! The meat tastes so clean and healthy and the toppings are all so fresh and crisp. I never felt so healthy while eating a burger, it still had all the great characteristics of a cheeseburger but without feeling too heavy or fatty. I finished it and ended up splitting a second one with my boyfriend. Needless to say we'll be coming back here again for the occasional burger craving! Elevation Burger has a good business concept: the convenience and satisfaction of fast-food burgers with higher-quality, healthier ingredients (it's all relative!) and an environmentally-friendly ethic. Though I am not vegetarian, I try to eat "veg" regularly so I appreciate that EB has TWO veggie burger options in addition to beef patties. Another nice option: you may order the burger wrapped in a big lettuce leaf instead of on a bun! The Arlington location apparently has halal burgers, but no mention of that here in H-ville. On my first visit I got a beef burger. It seemed greasier than many, but this may be due to the real cheddar cheese they use -- not the American "cheese food" slices we are used to seeing on fast food. The fries cooked in olive oil are *delicious*, although I found myself wondering if it was really olive oil since there was no characteristic olive taste or scent. (Which I like, but maybe they use a lesser grade so that it wouldn't upset the traditionalists used to Canola and other more common frying oils). I'm a busy working person who tries to watch my health, so on my past several visits to EB I've ordered one of the veggie burger options on a lettuce leaf with cheese (to keep it from being dry) and a few other condiments. Delish! I skip the fries and get just the burger for under $4.50. A simple, inexpensive, relatively healthy meal. Three stars may seem like a low rating, but I don't mean it that way. EB is not the best burger I've ever had, but it's competitively Good Enough, especially if one prefers all the other things it offers: pasture-raised beef, veggie options, etc. My sweetie and I live nearby in Cheverly and are thrilled to see the whole Hyattsville "Arts District" taking off at last. Ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger and fries. The burger was not as good as the price would suggest. The meat wasn't bad but the caramelized onions were too sweet and over-powering, the cheddar cheese was missing taste and the bun quite frankly sucked. Fries were cooked in olive oil so even with ketchup, the after taste is pretty gross. Really great burgers! The burgers look amazing, taste as such. The Elevation burger, God it's amazing. I'd highly recommend it. When they ask you for toppings, be sure to add a good amount. It's kinda like Subway, they add what you request, so if you request nothing, be ready for a dry and dull burger. If you play your cards right, you'll have an amazing burger well worth the price. I order a bbq burger small ff with a soda and guac on the side 15.00$ ehhh to much then i ask for my cup oh i didnt ring that in 2.60 so $17.60 for my lunch .. i receved my food on brown paper no elevation branding. My guac was on my burger not the side but the bbq that should be on the burger is on the side. the burger tasted salty there was one piece of slightly over cooked bacon. Then i realized shes charged me for a large ff and i got a large but i can barley eat most of a small. For the price the food should have been much better shake shack isnt this expensive. BE AWARE of this burger place,after going her for three years with my family due to Covid 19 the company snuck and changed the recipient without informing the customers.They now do not sell grass fed fresh beef but instead sell frozen halal beef.None of this information is advertised but after not going the since March we finally went again in May and the meat tasted horrible.It was very chewy and I could tell it was not the meat they had before.I spoke to the manager and demanded my money back, he admitted the meat was now halal and frozen but refused to give me my money back.He claimed he would pass my issue over to the owner but claimed the owner said he was selling the same meat but from a different vendor.This was not true as I mentioned earlier that my family and I have always eaten at this location for the last three years.This is such a disappointment as this used to be one of my favorite places to eat.If you want frozen halal beef go here. read more

Atrocious! Do not waste your time and money here. We ordered two hamburgers with different toppings and some fries to share. The burger was tasteless and greasy. The patty was too thin. The fries were undercooked and soggy. We actually couldn't eat the fries at all and managed to get part of the burgers down. If it weren't a to go order I would have asked for my money back. Unfortunately by the time we started eating it was too late. It was exceptional in taste and quality and the restaurant was incredibly clean. I must say I was impressed. It is a bit costly, but you get what you pay for aka a quality meal. One of the worst fast casual food experiences I've ever had. To be fair, we ordered this on Uber Eats, so maybe we did not get the full experience. However, the number and type of issues we had make me never want to try. My husband found a hair in his burger. My salad order was wrong. The milkshake was soupy and tasted like Ovaltine (we live a mile from the restaurant, and even melting couldn't really account for the taste). As I stuffed the first few into my mouth, the taste triggered my memory of what McD's fries were like when they actually used genuine, natural potatoes-- eons ago. Yummy!! The burger was equally as fulfilling with no extras-- only the house "elevation" sauce and cheese. As I devoured everything with great relish, the guilt that often accompanies eating greasy food never surfaced. Good experience. My mother, daughter and I went there over the weekend. My mom had never been there before so I had warned her that sometimes it takes a while for your burger but it's totally worth the wait. We ordered our burger separately but at the same time. My burger ended up coming out about 15 to 20 minutes before hers. I was so hungry and it smelled so good that I inhaled it down. When she got hers the man that delivered it must have noticed that I ate my burger by the time she got her burger. So before we left he apologized and gave her a gift card for the next time. I was very pleased with the service, especially for a fast food type place. They noticed she may have been unhappy and nipped it in the bud. The place was clean and they were very friendly.
