Despite its cuteness however, it doesn't look like it's been visited by many based on the number of photos uploaded as of April 18, 2026. It might be its location as it's tucked in a quieter area from the center of Taos (it's still very much walkable from it though.) Well, I shall (thus) contribute to it. Great selection of whites and reds. Unfortunately however, none of the reds I got to sample didn't strikingly impress me and yet the Rioja was the best one out of the 7 displayed upfront. I hence went with a glass of it. Despite the beautiful weather on a Saturday at around 5:25pm, nobody was there. The live band for the night had just gotten to it where they were doing a little rehearsal. There was a good hour to the start of the show. The food menu also had a good selection of small bites from charcuterie board to hummus plate to meatballs to dumplings to flatbread etc. And the prices of them were mostly $10 to $15 (except the boards.) I had stopped at a different wine bar earlier where I had gotten me a few food for me to eat at the hotel so I didn't get anything at this place. Maybe next time. It's a great place for girls' night out, a date night or a solo dining as well. As I have mentioned already, live music every night. You can sit close to the band or a bit away from it near the entrance. Wherever you sit you'll be surrounded by the great ambiance. I enjoyed it tremendously.

During my visit in Taos, I had a chance to go to a few different wine places and none of them did "flights". Whereas the other place was generous enough to let me taste more than a handful of their reds this place only gave me one of them (which I didn't care for.) I didn't want to be an entitled customer so I (out of politeness) refrained from asking me for a few more samples. I hence opted out on ordering a full glass for something I might not enjoy as all I could get were the descriptions of several other reds he said. I sure was hungry though so I ordered the mixed green salad and the rotating dessert (some sponge spice cake with date in it.) Both of them (when I ate them later in my hotel room) were okay to decent but I wasn't nowhere near "impressed". Will I go back here when I am in town again? Maybe but I can simply go to the other one I liked more or some vineyards that are 20-30 minutes from the center of Taos. It appears that some other people experienced the same questionable customer service experience (based on their reviews) when I felt "unwelcome" or even "being dismissed" I know that it wasn't personal. From the poblano chile appetizer, the blue corn muffins, and my entree of the tilapia. I still wonder if it was worth the price, given how questionable the service was. I appreciated the server letting us know what ran out of the menu. However when our food came out, we were told by the server, "we ran out of rice and beans for the fajitas so here's sweet mashed potatoes." Then walked away. Never told beforehand of the rice and beans running out. Never given an alternative option of sides. I can assure you, the sweet potatoes did not pair well with the fajitas... And come closer to the meal ending, the server literally started picking up plates that still was in front of people with food on it. We weren't offered boxes, or asked if we were done. We were absolutely astonished about the lack of communication. In the end, we were given a refund for the fajitas...after WE addressed the issues of receiving food we did not order AND the food being taken away prematurely . It's like the self awareness of the mistakes or basic communication was not there tonight. Only thing saving these place from a one star rating was the taste of the food and they actually gave us a refund. I will probably not go here again.
