There is a reason Elevated Audio has several five star reviews, and after the great customer service, good pricing, and outstanding quality work I received, I'm adding another one to the list. I made some inquiries via email to the top rated audio installers in the Denver metro area, and Andrew was the only one to return my emails. I told him what I was looking for and he provided me with a few different options at different price points. Being as popular as they are, I had to wait a few weeks for their next available appointment in my area. But I figured it would be worth the wait to have the job done right. Which brings up another outstanding feature they provide, they can come to you! How sweet is that? I had the car stereo installed in my work parking lot while I was at work, that was extremely convenient. There was a delivery issue with vendor providing the head unit I wanted. It was supposed arrive before my appointment, but the manufacturer slipped the delivery date, and the new date was going to be a week after my appointment. Andrew called me and explained the situation, and instead of having me wait another week, he offered to have the model just below the one requested installed temporarily and then swap it out with the other one when it arrived. Now that is some outstanding customer service. The install preformed by Matt was top notch. There was alot of dis-assembly involved, and when he was finished, everything was in perfect working order, down to the smallest detail. He even setup my Preset radio stations from my old radio and went over the new features in my new one. A week later Andrew replaced the temp head unit with the one I ordered, again while I was at work. A great experience all the way around. read more

I live in Carbondale, and have been looking to get a new radio placed in my car, along with a back up camera. Having spoken with Tommy on the phone, and meeting with the guys, i was happy to drive 6+ hours round trip for them to install a new radio and camera in my car. We had a pre installation meeting to assess what my needs were, and to find out exactly what needed to be installed into the car. They then gave me an accurate assessment of the cost and the time to do the install. Due to my travel schedule, they allowed me to drop off my car early, and even stayed open late to ensure everything was right for the install. Matt called me before to let me know he was running a few minutes late thanks to traffic. He was straightforward and took the time to have me double check the placement of the cameras before they were installed. I had Elevated Audio install a new high-end CarPlay audio system in my car. Not only were they almost $700 cheaper than Car Toys, they came out to my house to do the installation. After the installation a wire came loose in the back of the unit that prevented the audio from working. They were responsive that evening via email and phone, and came out the next morning to fix it. Sick of Car Toys scamming you and charging an arm and a leg for an install? Yeah me too. Andrew is an amazing professional who has far superior experience than any installer at Car Toys. If your thinking about Best Buy as a cheaper alternative, think again, they will do a terrible job and take twice as long to do it as they are payed hourly so they milk the clock on every install. Also there is a reason every installer refers to Quality auto sound as the Quality Auto Clowns, beware!!! Andrews is the only option in my book. I HIGHLY recommend Andrew's Installs for any and all car audio work! I was in a rush to get an auxiliary jack installed in my newly purchased used car and Andrew delivered! We were disappointed with Best Buy locations who either have long wait times for service or don't provide the audio service at all (depending on location). We did a quick search on Yelp and Andrew's Installs came right up! He's a one-man shop so you may need to be patient with any return calls but it's totally worth it. He works out of his garage so it may seem a bit casual but he is quick, professional and took the time to fully explain my new sound system changes before I drove away. Give this guy your business. You won't be disappointed. PS - if your credit card won't work on his machine, call your credit card company. It appears that car audio charges raise red flags and cards will block these charges. After wasting a pile of money at a chop shop, I realized that the best equipment is worthless without a proper install. I found Elevated Audio online and eventually scheduled an appointment. Not only did they find a dozen mistakes by the other shop, but they patiently explained how everything was fixed and how my system should be set. After going to the dealer twice to get a non working back up camera to work and finding no joy, I located Elevated Audio here on Yelp. An initial appraisal was done. Next was an assessment. The hardware was of an unknown source. Replacement was the only option, but they did a great job in evaluation of the problem to determine that. In the end I have a working back up camera with a broader field of view than I had before. Staff was extremely pleasant to deal with. I would recommend them in a heart beat! Based on all the accolades Elevated Audio received I decided to give them a try and I was not disappointed. Andrew promptly answered my emails, patiently answered my questions, and did not try to sell me more than what I needed.Matt did an excellent installation in my Civic of a Kenwood monitor with DVD receiver and a Sirius radio receiver. He also took out my old system including a 10 disc CD tray in the trunk. Even though they come out to where you are located their pricing was very competitive with the stores I checked and they charged me less for the Kenwood than Crutchfield was advertising. Andrew does good work at a very reasonable cost. My job was a small one: replace my old stock Mazda Protege5 stereo with an old after-market stereo pulled from another car. I didn't need any bells and whistles or new speakers, just an install of a stereo I already had, so I wasn't expecting the $110 to $135 estimates I was quoted from the three most common stereo places. Andrew was much fairer. I had already purchased the din kit and aux cable online before I'd called Andrew as I was going to try to install myself, but decided against it. His price for the same din kit was comparable to what I'd found online, so let him save you the hassle. I'm glad I let him do the install as he got everything done in an hour while I waited. We've first had Elevated Audio install a very very nice radar detector in our Tesla about one year ago. Every place you go to always say they will take car of your car and baby it. Most places we've been to, do not do as they say. Whether it finger prints left on your car, dirt, mud, mess, or obvious bad work. THAT Is not the case with Elevated Audio! Their work is great, the guys are great and they really do take care of you and baby your car! We like them so much that when we got a second Tesla the first thing we did is call them up to do another Radar install The second install is just as good as the first. I recently needed to have a new head unit (i.e. main receiver) and amplifier installed in my car. I had replaced the speakers myself, but did not have the time nor skills to replace the head unit and amp. I did a lot of research on installers in the Denver metro area, and Elevated Audio was consistently highly rated. They replied to my inquiry quickly and professionally and provided a quote for exactly what I needed to have done. They are popular so you will need a couple of weeks lead time to get on their schedule. Matt came to my home, explained exactly what was to be done, did a pre-install checklist to make sure everything in the car was working, performed a perfectly clean install (i.e. everything looks as it did with factory equipment), had me test listen to the system and make some minor tweaks based on my preferences, and left me with a big smile listening to my new system! Wanted to add a review of my experience with Elevated Audio. I originally had a new headunit installed as the factory unit is terrible in the 2016 Subaru WRX. I worked with Tommy and he was able to suggest something I was looking for right away and he also gave me a tour of the shop and showed me how they do things. As the installation process approached, I added a few notes and they were able to accommodate my requests with a different dash kit and make it all work beautifully. I was excited about the results but over time had an issue with the backup camera not coming up reliably after the install. After a few visits they were able to nail down the issue (at no cost) and has been perfect since. They were professionals throughout the experience and a quality shop all around. Throughout the experience, I was able to see some of the other custom fabrication work that was being done on other vehicles and it was all top notch. The appointments are longer to wait for than your regular shop as they are a smaller crew and the price is higher than average but I felt good in the end about the whole experience and would definitely recommend to others! read more

I had a previous stereo bought of Dual brand crutchfield.com that a friend installed that kept going out on me after a year. Didn't know if it was the stereo itself or bad wiring. Wanted a place that would work with me to give me an honest answer if the stereo was worth salvaging or if I should get a new one. Held off for a long time because I didn't want to engage with a pushy shop trying to steer me into buying something I didn't need. After a lot of searching on yelp and google(as a tip, be sure to check multiple review sites AND at least scan all the reviews because I saw quite a bit of variance between sites and individual reviews) I felt comfortable with Andrew because he was the one with the least bad reviews, if any and that he worked for himself simply out of his garage and not a shop with pushy workers trying to reel in sales. Got to his house and Andrew pulled my car into his garage. Hooked my stereo up to his tester and verified that it was the stereo that was the problem(last time I will go with a less known brand despite the reviews). Had a kenwood stereo on hand for $80 dollars. I said lets go with that. Quickly installed it within 20 minutes. Turns out when he checked the price in his system, it was actually $100 but kept true to his original quote. I felt bad and offered to meet him halfway but he insisted. Total price for stereo and install came out to be $129. He then proceeded to show me all the features of the stereo. I was really impressed with his service and honesty. I liked it his service so much that I inquired if he does keyless entry and remote start. He said he has another guy that can come in and do it for $100 and $210 respectively. Really considering it. I couldn't be happier with the service I got with Andrew. It was also cheaper because there is no middle men involved and felt good about helping out the "little guy" on the block versus a big shop that cares more about making money. read more

The Elevated team added a touch screen, high end audio head into my old-ish car. It was a particularly complicated installation, since the car tied the radio into some of the system communications pathways - using fiber! The email response was quick and helpful, and we were able to figure out what I needed with a few pictures that I took, and some back and forth. I chose the radio that Andrew recommended, and I couldn't be happier with the choice. Matt showed up when he said, and was able to handle whatever my car threw at him. The installation is as good as it can get - it looks like it came that way, and everything else works as it is supposed to. I have had my car in for service since the installation, and the system functions just like it did before. There were a few minor issues that I noticed after a few days, and they came out immediately to fix them. In both cases the solution was not due to their work, but was a quirk in how the car routed some of the wires. The solutions were creative and complicated. One interesting thing that is worth mentioning is that they have no shop. The installation is done on site. I admit that I was not sure how that would work, but I found that it was very easy to determine what I needed by email, and having it done at home was a lot more convenient than taking it to a shop. read more

As with all the other reviews posted, I am very, very pleased with my choice to go with Elevated Audio. I researched numerous other options at all the big box and chains and Elevated turned out to be roughly equal or less cost than all of them. Hard to believe for the service and quality Elevated delivers. I was a little skeptical at first because they didn't have a "shop" to visit. They do the work at your home or office. Turns out to be a great business model when executed like they do it. I wanted to replace my Toyota Tundra factory system with new speakers, amp, equalizer and super flat sub (not much room in a Tundra for a sub). I wanted the system to sound great, but be hidden as if no work had been done. I travel a lot for work and have to park my truck unsupervised, for extended periods of time, in some less than ideal locations. On the front end, Andrew (Owner) was very professional in every respect. He spent a lot of time making sure I was perfectly clear about what I wanted the end result to be. There are so many options and price ranges. My budget (actually my wife's budget for me) was $3,000 and he respected that and gave me the best value possible. He really cares that you are satisfied with the end result. Then there was Matt who actually installed the system in my garage. First, he showed up 10 minutes early and waited until the exact appointment time to let me know he was at our gate. He did a complete check of all my electrical systems before starting anything. He not only tolerated my numerous questions throughout the day of install, but encouraged questions while he effortlessly multi-tasked. It is obvious Matt has installed a few systems in his day. Matt's work was clean, organized, efficient and he hit his estimated install time exactly. The Tundra looked exactly like it did before he started. No new squeaks, rattles or stains, and perfectly clean. The next morning Andrew showed up (exactly on time) with Matt to do a complete system balance and tune and to take credit for all of Matt's hard work. Truthfully, Andrew just wanted to be sure all of his initial promises were kept and to take pleasure in seeing my total and complete satisfaction with the end result. I could go on about these guys but I'm sure you get the idea. I hope Andrew can find a way to maintain this unique business model and handle all of the business they will surely get. They should raise their prices a little to reflect the service and value they deliver. I want them around for my next install. read more

In November (2014) my Ford F-250 was broken into... They smashed my window, ripped out my dash and stole my AVIC F900BT. The nightmare started with the insurance companies. Based on reviews on yelp (and some previous bad experiences with the large chain shops in the area) I reached out to Elevated via Email. Andrew asked for some pictures of the damage and gave me a quote for an equivalent replacement (AVIC 6000NEX). After saying they wouldn't accept a quote from a vendor, the insurance company accepted Andrew's quote on the spot in lieu of their own estimate (this worked in my favor) . He answered my 4328 questions with the patience of a saint and made some very useful recommendations. In the end, he showed up on install-day and worked in freezing temperatures to install the stereo. He went over the functions of the radio with me and finished up what was ultimately a very professional installation. He took what was a frustrating and infuriating experience (getting robbed) and made it kind of cool (new stereo!). I will use him for any such work going forward and I highly recommend Elevated Audio to anyone looking to have similar work done. read more
