I found out about this spot just browsing through Yelp and thought to give it a shot based on all the reviews. I set up an appointment for my mom as an early Christmas present as she's been dying for a massage. She came out so relaxed and she enjoyed every bit of it. She noted it as the best massage she's ever had and this woman is so hard to please when it comes to massages. She said that she had fallen asleep on the table since it felt so nice and she was happy that her lower back and legs were finally at ease given those two were the body parts giving her the most trouble. Scheduling wise was such a breeze. I didn't have a set schedule of how to go about things during my stay here on Kauai so I booked this appointment pretty last minute, a couple days before actually. Angela was a total sweetheart and explained things thoroughly. She was very professional in the manner that she spoke and she got back to me rather quickly. Price wise, I definitely am fine with. Amazing, and absolute best, way to start a fresh Hawaiian day! We booked this massage as a little treat after we finished all of our hiking/active adventures on the island. Boy, did we feel heavenly after this. Pure bliss, relaxation and almost felt like we were floating. Highest honors to David, who was my therapist. His firmness level did not stray for one second. He got every muscle from head to toe (face, head, hands, etc.). He even noticed my nose was a bit clogged and massaged my face with eucalyptus oil. Calming music and beach background was amazing. Everyone on the team was super helpful, calming and extremely nice. Definitely satisfied and would love to do this every week if I could! Additional comments/considerations: The only minor thing was next door, there was a gardener doing yard work, so we could hear him the first 10 minutes with his loud weed wacker. Sorta wish the location was a bit more intimate/isolated/beachside. When you think, "beachside", you're under the impression that you will be literally on the beach, this is not the case. You are in the back of a hotel, in a cabana on grass. The beach is across a pedestrian path and yards away. At times, you can even hear people riding their bikes by and what not. The chickens I can deal with, the gardening and people/kids walking by not so much. Regardless, the people were so nice and the massage was the best i've had, so keeping it 5 stars. Thanks guys! Excellent massage therapist however be mindful that the beachside massage is on the grounds of a third party hotel and unfortunately the ambience is not under their control. We upgraded our massage to beachside hoping to hear soothing crashing beach waves, you also hear them however the hotel is on the main road and depending on the time of the day, you can hear traffic, horns, constant yelling from kids playing in the yard, we also heard loud drilling and hammering being done at the hotel and of course it's Kauai so you hear constant roosters going off. Point is half of the massage experience is great the other half not so much. Might wanna either choose for indoor massage at their studio or pay extra at a resort where ambience is controlled. read more

First off, the massage was pretty good. In comparison to the many others I've had, it was probably between a 7.5 to an 8. The masseuse was very kind and sweet. I asked for attention to certain areas of my body and was disappointed that they were very briefly addressed during a 90 min prepaid session. But otherwise, it was a good massage. For non-exhibitionists, Warning on the beach-front cabana location: it is behind a hotel and people walk around incessantly while the flaps of the cabana are fully open to the ocean. The flaps were opened after I was faced down up under the sheet. Though a beautiful scene that you're not able to enjoy, I got nervous and asked if people walked in that area since there was no one there at the moment. I was assured I didn't have to worry about that. That couldn't be further than the truth. Someone had the nerve to walk right in to the Cabana DURING my massage with much of my body exposed. It was humiliating while I was supposed to be relaxed. She thought it was a great time to ask about their services and my masseuse accommodated her conversation as if it was perfectly ok to have a stranger in there with my exposed body. I firmly said "This is NOT OK!" The woman persisted but the masseuse excused her at that time. Children were walking by. A man decided to set up a fishing post right in front of us. Of course once the massage was over, he left. I felt trapped because we were forced to pre-pay the $200. That is a hefty price for a massage but I thought I was paying for a full, Hawaiian experience. I was scared I might get an anxiety attack while I'm supposed to be relaxed. I didn't think I could ask for the flaps to be closed, but after the woman came in, I did. It was too much. The masseuse closed them. I let Ms. Angela know how I felt and she smiled in my face the entire time I let her know of my experience and how inappropriate it is to have it behind a hotel. There is soooo much beach on Kauai that is barely attended/populated (I've explored Kauai before this). I told her I don't know why she was smiling. Usually when you share a concern, management expresses concern. She gave me a flippant response and while still smiling told me she was sorry I had a bad experience. I echoed her in that I'm sorry I paid so much for that experience. It is not ok. If I was warned that a lot of people would be able to observe my massage (never happened in the 12 years I've been getting massages after a bad car accident), I would have picked a different experience. read more
