The entire staff at Elevate Wellness is exceptional. First massage was a couples beach massage by Angela in 2013. Since then, we can not visit the island without having her on our schedule. We have not met the entire staff, but can attest to the many talents of Angela, Tracy, Joshua, Ben, & Jessica. We have had many massages in our travels.....but these are simply the best professional massages' you will ever receive. read more

Ahhhh-mazing massage right on the beach! This small but very welcoming spot is the perfect place to get your massage needs. We got a couple massage and both ladies were absolutely awesome. They were able to get our knots out and it was just so peaceful and relaxing. I wished we did get the 90 minute massage but we will be sure to be back next time! read more

My boyfriend surprised me with massages on our first day. The location was beautiful, the owners friendly/accommodating, and the massages were fabulous. It was a great way to start the trip and we will be back! Highly recommend. read more

After an 8 mile hike, my body BE HURTIN! But thanks to Katie, I was back in tip top shape!! I purchased the 90 minute beach side massage for $180 ($260 CAD, yeah, fuck, I know) and it was worth every penny. The beach side massage actually takes place in a little hut at the Kumu Kamp (spelling), but it's super cool. IT's so relaxing you don't even mind the roosters. The birds and the ocean are amazing and poor KAtie had her work cut out for her with my calves and feet. Oi oi oi. I had the most amazing Lomi Lomi (which btw, isn't for the faint of heart, you be movin around), but it makes you feel like a million bucks. This massage and location was one of the highlights of my trip and got me comfortable back on my feet again. Thanks for a great massage and relaxing morning! read more

Angela and Stephanie were great masseuses. The 4 of us requested deep tissue massages. I worked with Stephanie who focused on the areas of need as well as my whole body. I usually prefer a very deep tissue massage and she was able to provide it! My aunt and cousin enjoyed Angela's stretching techniques. They relayed that she was able to manipulate their muscles very well and seemed quite in-tune with the body. I definitely recommend Angela and Stephanie to anyone looking for quality massage in Kauai. It is convenient and relaxing to have the masseuse come to your home/hotel. The massage tables were comfortable and they bring all the necessities including music, oils. read more

I booked an hour and half session with Angela and it was wonderful. She came to our condo fully prepared and made me feel comfortable right away. Her deep tissue is deep and she concentrated on all my problem areas. In have carpal tunnel on both my wrists. Not only did she stretch them out, but she also gave me some pointers after our session on how to work my arms and wrists at home so I can help relieve the tension. It highly recommend Angela! read more

My bestfriend & I took a Kauai vacation for the sole purpose of seeking some much needed relaxation & time to clean our energy and any lingering negativity from our recent breakups. Now i consider myself a specialist when it comes to anything involving massage or healing therapies considering I do them on a weekly basis back home in Los Angeles. I have seen a multitude of different masseuses, healers, hypnotists, reiki masters, rolfers and beyond, therefore I have ALOTTT OF experience in this category, enough to be able to know 5 min into a treatment whether it's gonna be epic OR an epic fail. SOOOO....after researching the islands best therapists I stumbled upon elevate wellness. I called & spoke to Angela who booked us two appointments for the following day. I requested the cupping/massage combo with abdominal massage with Angela & my Bestfriend tom booked a lomi lomi massage with Katie . The compound: day our massage we rolled up to their beach side bungalow location which is like a highend camping ground with little open aired free-standing cottages where the ocean winds blow through. Super clean, cozy and ultra comfy massage tables which have well layered blankets to keep you warm in case the breeze is too chilly. Angela & Katie welcomed us...they're both extremely warm & good hearted souls. You can just tell right off the bat. THE TREATMENTS: My cupping/massage & abdominal massage: 90 minute treatment. Angela was my therapist. First off she was unbelievably personable, endearing and has a calm about her that instantly makes u feel at home. I NEED really deep massages because I have back problems and constant pain. I can't stand masseuses that do light massages where they're barely touching you and barely paying attention lol. Angela was the opposite in every way. She's a thin girl but she is so strong!!! Not only that, she's incredibly in tuned with the massage, taking her time to really find the knots and spots which need the most attention. I don't think I've ever had a therapist that was as in tune as she. BOTTOM LINE, THIS WASNT YOUR BASIC MASSAGE, IT WAS AN EXPERIENCE & a very healing one at that. 15 min into the massage I told her I was in love with her. Hahaha. But it was THAT good. After my appointment I felt like 100 pounds had been lifted off my shoulders. My best friends Lomi Lomi: my Bestfriend tom prefers only super hard pressure deep tissue massages. And like me, he was weary about whether or not the girls would be able to really provide that type of deep massage. But he was happily surprised as well. He said that his masseuse Katie gave him hands down the best massage he's ever gotten & commented on how impressed he was that such a small girl could be so strong! Lol. WE LOVE ANGELA & KATIE SO MUCH that we scheduled ANOTHER 90 minute session for the following day! Which WAS EQUALLY AS AMAZING. I have way too much good things to say about our experience with Angela and Katie from Elevate. They sincerely became one of our most favorite memorable parts of our trip to Kauai. And when we come back in a few months...u better bet that we'll be repeat clients a million times over. read more

Angela embodies every aspect of a warm, gifted and professional massage therapist. She responded quickly to my appointment request and arrived early to set up on the deck of our B&B. She immediately put my husband and I at ease with her smile and friendly demeanor. She worked on me first and was attentive to my focus areas. Her schooling was clearly demonstrated in her systematic deep tissue strokes and stretching techniques. Most massage therapists gloss over the forearms and hands, only working on the surface. Angela honed in on pressure points and spent ample time in key areas to leave me jelly-like. My husband who doesn't appreciate massages as much as me was very impressed. She alleviated the knots in his upper back, lending him more flexibility. I was thrilled to share with Angela that my massage was one of the best massages I have ever received. I only wish she lived on the mainland :) My husband and I can't wait to return to Kauai for many reasons and Angela is now one of them. read more

Angela has a wonderful, soothing, healing touch. I like higher pressure massages and she was able to provide that without any pain, just good intensity. She was careful of my injuries and really soothed me before my long flight home. Angela took a little time at the beginning to ask me what was ailing me and then spent the next 90 minutes making it all better. I had sprained my ankle and she was gentle with it and put some noni on it and it felt great for hours and hours. Can't express enough how great Angela is-- her bodywork is worth every penny, and honestly she's extremely reasonable. She makes me want to come back to Kauai just to get another massage. read more

My boyfriend and I came her for massages on his birthday during our vacation to Kauai. We did the beach option and were pleased with our massages and the whole experience. I will note that the massages do not take place directly on the beach. They are in a tent like cabin several yards from the beach. (We were not aware of this when we booked) I had a good deep tissue and he really enjoyed his signature massage. The therapists were very friendly and accommodating. Our only complaint would be the expensive pricing. $265 + tip for a 60 minute couples massage (considering the venue) was a bit pricy...even for us coming from the Bay Area. Aside from that, we had a good time and would recommend Elevate! read more

First off, the massage was pretty good. In comparison to the many others I've had, it was probably between a 7.5 to an 8. The masseuse was very kind and sweet. I asked for attention to certain areas of my body and was disappointed that they were very briefly addressed during a 90 min prepaid session. But otherwise, it was a good massage. For non-exhibitionists, Warning on the beach-front cabana location: it is behind a hotel and people walk around incessantly while the flaps of the cabana are fully open to the ocean. The flaps were opened after I was faced down up under the sheet. Though a beautiful scene that you're not able to enjoy, I got nervous and asked if people walked in that area since there was no one there at the moment. I was assured I didn't have to worry about that. That couldn't be further than the truth. Someone had the nerve to walk right in to the Cabana DURING my massage with much of my body exposed. It was humiliating while I was supposed to be relaxed. She thought it was a great time to ask about their services and my masseuse accommodated her conversation as if it was perfectly ok to have a stranger in there with my exposed body. I firmly said "This is NOT OK!" The woman persisted but the masseuse excused her at that time. Children were walking by. A man decided to set up a fishing post right in front of us. Of course once the massage was over, he left. I felt trapped because we were forced to pre-pay the $200. That is a hefty price for a massage but I thought I was paying for a full, Hawaiian experience. I was scared I might get an anxiety attack while I'm supposed to be relaxed. I didn't think I could ask for the flaps to be closed, but after the woman came in, I did. It was too much. The masseuse closed them. I let Ms. Angela know how I felt and she smiled in my face the entire time I let her know of my experience and how inappropriate it is to have it behind a hotel. There is soooo much beach on Kauai that is barely attended/populated (I've explored Kauai before this). I told her I don't know why she was smiling. Usually when you share a concern, management expresses concern. She gave me a flippant response and while still smiling told me she was sorry I had a bad experience. I echoed her in that I'm sorry I paid so much for that experience. It is not ok. If I was warned that a lot of people would be able to observe my massage (never happened in the 12 years I've been getting massages after a bad car accident), I would have picked a different experience. read more

My family and vacationed last week in Kauai. We stayed at the Waipouli Resort in Kapaa. I wanted a massage therapist to be able to come in the evening after my young children had gone to bed. I texted Angela and she responded within a few hours and accommodated my after hours request. Debra came to our condo and set up in our lanai. I get a lot of massages and Debra gave me one of the best massages I have ever had. She is truly a gifted therapist who cares about her craft. I would highly recommend this massage service to anyone! read more

NEXT LEVEL! They were next level. By far the best massage my wife and I have ever received. They were extremely nice and took care of us. They came out to our place at the end of the day and it was incredible. If you haven't called them yet, you need to. Request Kerry and Craig. They were again an understatement... NEXT LEVEL, and the best massage my wife and I have ever had. We had pain in our body especially me that no masseuse has been able to take care of and they did. If you have doubts just do it you won't regret it. Best on the island for sure. read more

Angela is a GREAT massage therapist!!! She is very attentive to all areas of the body and with the hour and a half massage she is able to reach each problem area and work them out. I highly recommend going to the beach side cabana to get your massage! The atmosphere is heavenly!!! Its amazing how much the sounds of the crashing waves and the feel of the cool ocean breeze on your skin relaxes you. I will definitely be making another appointment soon!!! read more

Elevate Wellness - Angela and I after a AWESOME massage!! - Massage Near Me - Kapaa, Hawaii

This was one of the best deep tissue massages of my life. I've had other massage treatments while visiting Kauai and this was the best by far. During my 90 minute session, Angela was professional and attentive. She was firm where required and continually checked in with me. I have a lot of exercise related knots and she was extremely knowledgeable about how to address them. She and her acupuncture therapist bent over backward to fit us into their schedule on short notice. I'm not recommending that anyone expect that, it's just another point in her favor as a healthcare professional and kind person. My fiance had the Acu-Ssage which is a mix of massage and acupuncture. She said it was extremely helpful for her back and respiratory system and if we'd had more time I would have had that treatment too. Bottom line, give Elevate a call! read more

A LOMI LOMI MASSAGE from Elevate Wellness was the perfect way to end our short, yet crazy, escapade in Kauai! We were originally leaning towards the beach massage for two but we opted out due to the forecasted weather (winds!). We proceeded with the in-room massage at the Aqua Kauai Beach Resort. Despite the furniture arrangements, the room was still too tight for two massage beds. Nonetheless, Angela and Debra were very patient and accommodating. My boyfriend does a lot of heavy lifting at work while I deal with non-ergonomic desks at work and school. Angela and Debra did an amazing job with our problematic areas. Unlike many masseuse, they'll inquire about your preferences. I requested for medium pressure with more focus on my top right back / shoulder. I highly recommend Elevate Wellness to anyone traveling or living in Kauai! I nearly fell asleep but fought it off since I wanted to enjoy the massage. They'll be opening an Elevate Wellness in NorCal and hopefully, SoCal too! read more

What an incredible experience. My husband and I opted to go for the beachside massage, and our therapists deserve higher accolades than I am even capable of giving. I have never felt such relief from a massage, nor have I ever been able to describe my aches and pains and have them worked out so acutely. I am SO thankful that I called Elevate and that their office was able to squeeze me and my husband in for a same day appointment. They worked with our schedule and provided us with amazing care and excellent work, and I highly recommend Elevate Wellness to anyone looking for the best massage of their life. Mahalo nui loa for taking such good care of my body and mind! read more

If a negative review was possible, this would be one of those. The service requested, was not even close to what was received. After attempting to contact the owner multiple times, no response or concern was given. STRONGLY RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE. With so many options on Kauai, this is a horrible decision to book a treatment here. My wife had the same opinion, are massages were at there "other location" so I have no understanding of the other reviews. The therapists were kind, but unskilled, and definitely not trained for Lomi Lomi read more

My husband and I wanted a couples massage while on our honeymoon and they did not disappoint! We were supposed to have our session done on the beach, but due to the weather they kindly asked if we could go to their studio instead. It was so relaxing! I have always used Yelp to read reviews and recommendations but never had an account. Found Angela's services worthy of signing up to tell the world about how gifted she is at her trade. My fiancé, Scott, and I are staying at the Marriott Vacation Club in Lihue and called Angela on a Monday and the following day she showed up promptly at our hotel room at 1pm. She was friendly, warm, and interested in knowing us and our needs. Immediately, she got to work and spent 90 minutes with each of us over the afternoon, working wonders. Scott says that she found every spot that needed work and "worked it" until it was free of any tension. I have had a tight jaw lately and she totally relaxed it....and everything else on my body. Hands down, I do not know if you could find better in all of Hawaii. We will definitely be calling her up again!! Emily & Scott Santa Barbara, CA May 2012 read more

The massage from Larissa (I'm sorry it's been a few days since the massage so I hope I remembered her name correctly) was fabulous. Angela was absolutely wonderful to work with! Excellent and professional. If you are visiting Kauai she is a MUST to call! You will not be disappointed. What a delighful experience! Angela and Ella kicked off our vacation with a Lomi Style Massage. I will admit, driving off into the hills of Kauai made us wonder what we were getting into but the location was quiet, clean, well defined as a massage studio and welcoming. We were a little early and Angela was able to identify local plants and even suggested a post massage lunch venue that was a huge hit. Would do this again on our next visit for sure. Price was reasonable and comparable to what we would expect. Great job ladies! read more

Based on Yelp reviews, I went for a 90-min deep tissue massage today. Nicole did a great job. I asked for medium-firm pressure. She hit my limits a few times then eased up a little. Perfect sense from my response. I really enjoyed this. One of the best massages I've received. Nicole is highly recommended. Good stuff. read more

Elevate runs an efficient operation. They got me in quickly, which I appreciated. The owner called me promptly to schedule and they make it very easy to find the location by sending a thorough text with GPS and parking information. They provided water immediately before and after, super important, and a couple minutes to go over your needs, I arrived a bit earlier than suggested as not to cut into my 90 minutes. They also offer kamaaina 15% off which was unexpected and appreciated as massages can be expensive. But I'll tell ya, totally worth it. This is the second time I've been on a mission for a massage since living on Kauai. First time around I found a nice lady who had a great price, but she didn't really seem to care about helping me. But this Tracy really figured out my kinks quickly and knew right where to push, her pressure was excellent and she was VERY sweet and soft spoken, communicating just enough throughout. My only qualm was the lack of AC in the room, was a bummer at the start but it cooled down quickly with all the fans so not as big of a deal as I thot at first. An all around clean and calming atmosphere. I highly recommend these guys, they made it easy. read more

Very nice studio (they offer beach side as well) My wife and I did a couples massage and also our friend went with us. Tracy and Angela did some great work for us. The owner Angela even did some additional modalities to help get my wife to health (she is also a massage therapist). Very caring and attentive, and in the end we all left happy... which is tough considering my wife is a professional and I'm so spoiled getting worked on by her! read more

My wife and I had been on the island for couple weeks before we finally decided to relax even more with a massage. So we scheduled a couples massage with Angela and Tracy. Angela was very prompt when we scheduled through the Yelp app so that made it pretty convenient. Angela was my wife's therapist and Tracy was mine. Neither of us could have been more relaxed after our massage's. We will be back here for sure the next time we visit the island read more

Went to the in Home to a beautiful home with the basement turned into massage studio. My husband and I had Tracey and Nicole who were both incredible! We raved about our massages all week. Massage was more than your typical massage. My therapist used a technique that I had never heard of before. He shared it with me after the massage was over, called rolfing. It was so relaxing out by the ocean. A tiny bit noisey only because of the roosters. Worth the price to have it outside forsire. Ask for Josh. He is great!!! Tracy was also very good! read more

Had a 60 minute beachside massage and couldn't be happier with my purchase. A lawn mower came by and ruined the zen for a little bit, but honestly I didn't even care because the massage felt so good. I let him know I had back surgery last year and was still experiencing some pain, and he worked around that area perfectly. Sadly, his name escapes me now, but I highly recommend trying this company out. I've only had one massage before and it was nothing like this. I booked a massage for my wife for her birthday/first day of our Hawaii vacation. Couldn't have been more pleased. I texted Angela and she called back within an hour. She set up a 90 minute outcall massage with Amy on Monday, even though they are normally closed. Amy was going to be in the area. So accommodating. Amy was very personable and professional. She tailored a luxurious massage to my wife's needs, combining Lomi Lomi and deep tissue, targeting the areas she needed work on most. My wife loved it and was so relaxed afterwards...ready for vacation. This was such a positive experience. Prices were also very reasonable, IMO. I would highly recommend this service. Wonderful service and communication from the staff. I booked a beachside massage for my wife but the weather caused us to move it to the studio, which was understandable. The studio is in the lower level of a house, in a residential area a few miles away from downtown Kapa'a. It's a little different going into someone's home, but my wife said it was nice in there. Obviously she would have preferred the beachside, but they were great and accommodating. Highly recommended. read more

I was looking for a massage same day because we just hiked Waimea Canyon. I found this spot searching through yelp reviews which I noticed are all 5 star ratings. They were able to accommodate a 60 min massage within the next hour. My therapist was Kore. The location is in a neighborhood and very easy to find with parking spot to pull into reserved for Elevate. Originally I asked for a Swedish because that's what I usually book but I'm glad I was open to a Lomi Lomi massage. Kore's has amazing technique and the pressure was perfect. I typically like medium pressure and have certain areas to focus. She really listened and I felt very relaxed. It was probably one of the best massages I've had. I would definitely book again when I'm back in Kauai. read more
