From the start, Imara, the clinic's support services specialist gave me a warm greeting, and her supportive demeanor made me feel comfortable, both when I made my appointment and when I met her in person at the front desk. The intake process was straightforward and thorough, with questions designed to assess my overall health and fitness--not just my weight concerns and goals. Tiffany, my intake clinician, quickly and efficiently took my blood pressure, conducted basic diagnostics, and asked additional health-related questions before guiding me through a detailed Body Composition Analysis, including my Basal Metabolic Rate. She then briefly reviewed my results, offering helpful suggestions like increasing my exercise routine, drinking more water, and following the Genesis Lifestyle protocols, which focus on lean proteins and healthy fats. Next, I met with Eric, the nurse practitioner, who explained the clinic's team-based approach and outlined a sensible, realistic plan to help me achieve my weight loss and overall health goals. I appreciated how clear and practical his guidance was. Before leaving, Heather, the Practice Manager, checked in to ensure I was comfortable with the plan and answered any questions I had. I was also given the choice to come into the office for medication administration or attend a class to learn how to do home injections. Dr. Alfreda listens my concerns and I always feel safe under his care. he is a great doctor and very knowledgeable. Once I was hospitalized for severe abdominal pain and without testing, I was diagnosed with peptic ulcer. Dr. Alfreda ordered H-pylori testing ( which was negative) and sent me to GI SPECIALIST. I had upper GI endoscopy and a tissue biopsy revealed celiac sprue . I am very hard-headed person who will never go to the hospital unless Iam unconscious. Numerous times I had very bad respiratory infection which interfered my breathing and I still refused to go ER AND AGAIN DR ALFREDA was my savior .
