What could have been an informative and empowering experience quickly turned into a frustrating lesson in how profit can be disguised as patient care. The dentist hinted at some "serious concerns" during my exam, but rather than addressing them with transparency, she dangled the information like bait--only to reveal that I'd need to schedule another type of appointment (with an entirely different fee structure) if I wanted to hear the full story. That kind of manipulative upselling left me feeling more like a sales prospect than a patient. The final insult was being charged an additional $25 to access digital scans I had already paid $355 for. I'm not sure how withholding a patient's own medical records unless they pay an extra fee fits into the "holistic" ethos, but it certainly didn't feel ethical. Thankfully, I visited another holistic dentist soon after and had a completely different (and far more respectful) experience. Had I not done so, this visit to Adore would have left a bad taste in my mouth of holistic care--no pun intended. I'd advise others to do their homework and choose a provider whose priority is truly your health--not just your wallet.

She worked me in between her scheduled patients, and I was so grateful to have my crown prepped the same day. Roy, the dental assistant, was fantastic--professional, down-to-earth, and attentive to my comfort throughout the entire visit. Overall, the experience was excellent. This office is interested in helping reluctant dental patients (*ahem, me*) feel comfortable and in control of their dental journey. Not an easy thing to do, but definitely can be done as evidenced by Dental Tree of the Heights investing the time to pulse check how the patient feels about dentistry in general. It turns out I needed quite a bit of work done on a variety of teeths in the molar quadrant of both sides of my lower mouth. Currently I am about halfway through this journey, but I can assure the dear reader that your humble narrator is feeling quite at ease with the treatment being provided to poor tooth 19. The staff are nice and knowledgeable, the office has a calming atmosphere, and that Netflix yo... When I was reclined back in my chair and handed the remote control, thus giving me the awesome responsibility of choosing a flick to take in while my mouth got drilled, I took the task seriously. The dear reader should know that while I have at times in my life avoided even looking toward a dentists office, I have probably also spent years of my life scrolling through movie selections and never actually picking anything to watch. They're located off the Katy Freeway near IKEA, on the south side between Wirt and Antoine. The office shares a parking lot with Memorial Tacos, a dry cleaner, and some boutique shops. The parking lot is spacious, so parking is never an issue. Inside, everything is spotless and modern. The front desk staff are always kind, competent, and welcoming. Their hygienists are amazing -- especially Shauna, who is both personable and incredibly skilled. And both Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen are outstanding. They're highly competent, never push unnecessary services, and take the time to explain everything clearly. I've been coming here for years, and they've redone a few old fillings from decades ago with excellent results. I always leave feeling confident in their work -- and with a nice little goody bag! The advice they've given me over the years has actually worked, and my dental health is better because of it. I sincerely hope Dr. Tran and Dr. Nguyen keep practicing for a long time, because I'll be coming here for life -- and so will my kids when they're grown.

I've been seeing Dr. Hassid for the past year and can't recommend him enough! My first visit with…read morehim, he diagnosed a problem with my tooth that my other previous dentists had missed, possibly for years. This unfortunately led to needing the tooth to be removed, but he was able to guide me through the process and connect me with a wonderful oral surgeon. Throughout the process, it was evident that he was closely communicating with the offices of the various sub-specialists, coordinating my care, and probably spending time outside of his normal clinical hours to do so. Dr. Hassid has a very calm, patient bedside manner. He always takes the time to explain things, in clear, simple and easy-to-understand terms, and makes sure all my questions are answered. I can tell he really cares about his patients. His office staff are also all excellent - extremely courteous, accommodating, and professional. As an example, I had an appointment with him this morning. I received a phone call that one of the staff had called in sick, and my appointment would need to be rescheduled. However, very quickly, Dr. Hassid went ABOVE and BEYOND to accommodate me into his schedule today, so that I could still be seen. It definitely wasn't necessary but really showed the level of commitment Dr. Hassid and his team have toward their patients. I think I'll be a patient here for a very long time.

They were extremely thorough with my cleaning, and talked to me in-depth about the condition of my teeth based on various x-rays and photos: what I'm doing right, what I could improve upon, what I might be at risk for, and more. The dentist also talked me through what to look for when buying toothpaste and mouthwash, and provided scientific explanations for which products work best. The new patient/scheduling process is very smooth, as well. I simply filled out the new patient form online, got an email the next day from the office to schedule my appointment (which worked great for me, since I often can't take phone calls during the day), and was ready to go. Overall, I'm very impressed with the organization of the office and the kindness and consideration of each individual I interacted with! Definitely recommend.

I agreed with the recommendations as one tooth was infected and I know it needed to be treated. The teeth were removed in December 2023. I had some complications that required another procedure. The specialist who conducted the teeth extraction ad the follow up did not have the best bedside manner. She was somewhat aggressive; she was not calming or comforting. She could improve on her consideration of what the patient is going through. I will continue to go to Connect for my cleanings, but hope to never have to deal with dentist who does the extractions.
