I've been a following Katrina and Pham on IG for about a year now. Seeing their lives collaborate and build a business they both feel passionately about was simply inspirational. They both work hard in regards to nutrition, working out, and balance. When they opened up this place, I told myself that I will workout there one day. There are three types of people in the world: 1. Ones that make things happen 2. Ones that watch things happen 3. Ones that wonder what could happen I live in the Bay Area and have a busy ass schedule; between my career, my kids, my gym, my education, and other things in my life (sports, volunteer work, reading, etc.), finding downtime seldom come to mind. I've gone through some financial waves but I put together a plan to not only take my kiddo to Disneyland but to also fulfill my quest. Once I knew the dates I would be in Southern California, I reached out to both of them and told them that I will be coming down and wanted to workout at Elev8 Performance. I also forewarned them that Gavin will be w/ me. Not only were they both responsive and welcoming, they said that the have a TV/Wii setup and if Gavin wants a challenge, Pham would game. Met w/ Katrina and I was so giddy when I gave her a hug. I signed waivers and to my surprise, they did not charge me for working out there. Not all gyms are that accommodating and understanding. I made myself right at home and so did my little one. There are cubbies to put your belongings in and a unisex restroom. No shower facility. This is a no frills gym. You come w/ the mindset to work the fuck out and if you are lucky, you will get to see athletes and celebrities from LVFT (Pham and many others), Shredz, BodyBuilding (bodybuilding.com), MPK (Meal Prep Kingz), and the list goes on and on. - 1 cardio machine (StairMaster) - tractor tires - steel weights (bars/dumbbells) - carries Flavor God seasonings - LVFT apparel - holding cooler for folks to pickup their meals from MPK - artificial turf Everything is well-kept and cleaned religiously. I have been at Elev8 for a few months now and I absolutely love the staff and the members. It very much like a team when your in the facility. Everyone is very welcoming and supportive of your goals. Since I have joined I have been training with Dylan twice a week. He is very supportive and encouraging with his coaching. His exercises are demanding and are tailored to your needs. I myself have had hip and shoulder issues so Dylan has created a program to strengthen my weak areas. Since Covid is a thing - Clean and Sanitized all the time, plus they provide bottles of cleaning products and towels to wipe down your equipment before and after use. read more

First off I started with Elev8 in the middle of this pandemic. I cannot be more happy with them. They sure helped me stay in shape while being at home. Since I've started I have lost close to 15lbs. But the best part is that Kat has helped me soooo much with my nutrition. I know have knowledge of how to understand my body and what foods are meant for me without restricting me of everything. Thank you to my trainer Whitney! I joined ELEV8 because I was looking for a clean and well-equipped gym that offered personal training. I liked the array of equipment & infrared sauna access, but ultimately what solidified my decision was Whitney. I didn't want a trainer who would just push me to exhaustion, I wanted someone to truly evaluate my body and create a custom workout that worked for ME. She did just that. As far as gyms go this is as good as it gets, you've got everything you need and it's all clean and operational. When it comes to culture, there isn't a better environment to better yourself in. And if you really want somebody to push you, all of the trainers are awesome! My trainer Brittany is incredibly invested and intentional. She's there for every rep and holds me accountable outside the gym as well by checking in on my diet, sleep and off day activity level. Brittany even tweaks workouts around my changing energy levels given my workload that week. Don't look for a gym anymore, go to Elev8. Ask for Brittany. I started recently and all the trainers are awesome. My semi-private classes have been with Brittany who takes the time to come up with programs/workouts tailored to my needs..which I know can be tough especially with all my injuries . She takes the time to make sure I'm doing workouts with correct form to prevent any further injuries. She's also great at getting me motivated when I roll in at 5 am half asleep, which is equally as important. Bootcamp classes with Dylan and Chelsea are also awesome! read more

Started working out about a month or so with Brittany brown and i haven't stopped and I've been obsessed with the training, her and her vibe and the overall vibe at the gym. As a mom of three small children i love that she has classes that work with my schedule. I love how motivating she is and how she doesn't take any bs and is constantly reminding me of my "goals". For someone who has never worked out sometimes it's needed. But i honestly love her so much as a trainer and as a person. Elev8 is not a gym, it's a home. Every member of this gym is amazing and is motivated to hit results. There is no judgement and the gym is EXTREMELY clean. I've been here for almost 2 years and I'm blown away by how much it is still evolving. There's 4 squat racks and 2 deadlift platforms so you basically never have to wait to hit your main lifts. I opted in for the semi-private training and was blown away by how amazing the trainees are. I had Bryant and . His attention to detail is insane and is your biggest supporter. my initial impression of the gym was nice, it's cozy, secured by fob, clean, and being renovated and the staff was friendly. but sadly, I've been trying to work with Trevor to schedule small group training 3x a week at 5pm but strangely this gym only offers large group training in the evening time slots when im a beginner and need closer attention than i would receive in a large group. you'd think they'd be able to find 1-2 clients willing to join that time slot with me pretty easily but even though their website calendar says "new slots added as needed" and even after me personally babysitting my inquiry several times a week they still never got back to me about my request. what a shame, this location was right by my work on the way home. This gym is very welcoming and that's why I still come here, when I first scheduled my free visit I was skeptical because I didn't know how to work out and I couldn't afford a one on one or a semi private trainer. The trainers at Elev8 were awesome to tell me there was an online training plan where a trainer will make your programming and you go in knowing what to do at the gym on your own and not just trying to figure it out as you go. Even though the trainer isn't with you every step of the way, in my case, Bryant made sure to program me exercises I knew how to do and that would benefit my exercise goals the most. I just signed up for a months-long challenge with Elev8 and even before physically starting I could tell they really care about their clients. I came down with bronchitis just as the challenge started and was out for two weeks. I literally had my trainer and other gym staff checking in on me to see how I was feeling and when I finally made it in I was warmly welcomed back and was checked on seeing the session making sure I was hanging in there since I was coming back from being sick. This place has changed my life. I decided to make a change in my life about a year ago and that's when I got introduced to Katrina who owns Elev8, she met with me at my initial consultation and I expressed to her how much I hate working out and how much I really don't like trainers because I don't want them to tell me what to do. She took that in and found a way to work with me where not only would it be enjoyable for me but she connected with me in a way that a trainer never has. I've also been able to train with Mark and Brittany who also have the same passion that Katrina does and will take care of you. I am still going to Elev8 three times a week and enjoy it every single time that I go even though I feel like I'm dying half the time LOL. I don't plan on ending my journey soon and I appreciate how connected I am to the trainers there and how much they make me feel like family. I have lost tons of inches and many more to come but overall I feel SO HEALTHY and the best version of myself. I've never felt that before in my life.
