I made an inquiry on Friday evening and a guy name Joshua Tarnofsky called me on Sunday at 7:20PM and tell me that he is responding to my online inquiry. I politely tell Joshua that it is 7:20PM on Sunday and I am with few friends. Despite my statement, Joshua expects to continue the Sunday late evening call and I tell Joshua that I will call him the next day which is Monday. Then he asks me on when I can would call him back on Monday and I tell Joshua 9:00AM. Joshua tells me that 9:00AM does not work and he likes to do the call at 9:30AM. I told Joshua that I call him at 9:30AM on Monday. However on Monday due to fact that I went to doctor office, I didn't made that call to him as planned. So Joshua calls me again on Monday at 3:00PM and I text him that I can't talk at that moment and he text me back and ask when we can speak? I text him that I will call him on Tuesday at 9:30AM. He responds to my text as follow: "K-Don't forget!" and I respond back as "I try". On Tuesday, he text me again at 9:13AM and tell me not to forget to call him at 9:30AM!!!. So I call him around 9:38AM and he does not answer. About 15 minutes later, he send the following text: "Hey Reza, thanks for the inquiry. I don't think you are a good fit for what we are offering as we desire to work with people who are eager and committed on making changes. When you feel that you reach that level, you reach out and we can revisit the conversation at that time. Thanks" Funny how this guy thinks that I have to drop everything on Sunday evening or he is entitled to talk to me when he wants it. When a sales person acts like this, it shows a level of desperation, lack of respect for potential client and Joshua clearly is demonstrating that he does not have the patience for 1v1 or group training and having patience is one of the key essential criteria for a trainer and training as a trainer has to work hard with different sets of group of people with different health and fitness goal. So I am curious and I looked at Joshua profile at their website and I see that Joshua claims that he is a Certified Personal Trainer "CPT", RKC Kettlebells and Yoga Alliance Instructor. Since I had two private yoga instructors for a while, I try to check to see on what kind of credential Joshua has for yoga as all Yoga Alliance teacher are registered at https://www.yogaalliance.org The name search for Joshua Tarnofsky at Yoga Alliance website leads to no name match for his name which probably means that he is obviously misrepresenting the fact about his yoga credentials and perhaps among many other things in his profile. While I did not train with Joshua or workout at this gym, based on my interaction with Joshua, I will recommend that it is BEST TO STAY away from this gym. A truly deserving "0" star for this place but I stick to "1" as that is the lowest I can go. read more

This place is nothing short of amazing! So many different types of exercises and equipment you won't see at your typical gym. The same old machines can get boring. The 10-day pass made it easy to try it out. Then it was super easy to sign-up and pay on the app. I've trained with Vic, Q and Joaquin and they are all fantastic. This is not your traditional gym like Planet Fitness or 24 hour Fitness. The gym emphasizes group style workouts with plenty of trainer support for emphasis on posture and form. Most of the workouts emphasize calisthenics and functional fitness. The trainers seem to know how to modify workouts for people of different shapes, sizes, and goals .I have some experience with crossfit and would not also say that this is a crossfit gym. They train professional athletes (MLB). COVID-19 has been stressful. I've found more and more pain in my body as I sit watching zoom after zoom meeting.My lower back kept spasming, legs would cramp, and my back felt like I was growing a hump from all the slouching. I have been at IR for a little over a month now. I attend class 4-5 days a week. I have tried a variety of workouts over the years including traditional gym like 24 hr, boot camps, personal training, crossfit, orange theory, Fitwall, half marathon, century ride, triathlon, circuit training, yoga, pilates, Lagree, you name it! I have gotten something out of everything I've done, but I have to say I especially like the variety and fun, while seeing results, that I am having here. The classes include everything from warm up, activation, cardio, abs, stretching and cool down. Each class is whole body with an added area of focus. Any other gym I have tried follows a schedule like Mondays - arms, Tuesdays - legs, Wednesdays - cardio, etc. At IR it is a rotating schedule, so if you can only go MWF, you know you will get it all and not be missing any focus areas. For example, this Monday may be upper body, next Monday lower body and following Monday cardio and so on amd so on. So if you can only come Mondays, you will still get every workout on the 3 week rotations. Every series is 3 weeks then new workouts. Class size - small class sizes and often 2 coaches lend to personal training type experience. Trainers. This is critical. I have to say everything I have done over the years has worked because of the amazing coaches and trainers at the forefront. IR is no different! They have knowledgable and personable people to assist you at every turn. You have a coach who checks in with you on a regular basis and who you can contact as needs arise. They also have an awesome administrative staff who is always willing to lend a hand behind the scenes for billing or schedule questions, etc. COVID-19: IR made a seamless transition to live Zoom classes to attend at your regularly scheduled times and also recorded classes to attend whenever works for you in this unusual time. They even loaned out equipment at no cost before everything shut down so clients can continue to be challenged at home. Crossfit, P90X, Insanity, T25, boot camps, etc. Although they have worked for a lot of my friends and family, it just wasn't for me. After watching IRs videos on their site and reading all of the reviews on Yelp I decided to give them a shot. Today I completed day seven (over the course of 3 weeks) and I must say that I am sold on IR because I get the type of workout that I've been looking for. The workouts aren't boring like the ones you would find at your local "globo gym" because each session is different. During my seven sessions I've been exposed to kettlebells, sled pushes, VersaClimbers, battle ropes, box jumps, and sandbags (most of them new to me) and after each session I've walked out feeling like I got a great workout and as of today I am 7 lbs lighter and feel a whole lot better. So why should you come to IR? The trainers are motivating (without being in your face), knowledgeable and they make the workouts fun and effective, other members are supportive and not intimidating, there is always enough equipment for everyone, the gym is close to the freeway: 55 and 73, and sessions start early (first one is 5AM which was a huge plus for me). But don't take my word for it, come in and try them out for a couple of sessions and see for yourself. read more

I'm updating this review bc a few people have messaged me asking me about my experience. I worked out with Tara for a month. In that month, I put on 3lbs. and started to bulk up. Within a month of leaving, I lost 8lbs. and leaned out. I just don't think this program worked for my fitness goals. Upon leaving, I was told that it must be my diet, or it must be me. No one bothered to ask me, but I was working out 5 days a week and eating between 1200 and 1500 calories a day. It wasn't a fast enough pace for me to get my body burning calories at a cardio pace. I told Tara I build muscle extremely quickly and needed to keep up the cardio pace, something that has worked through all my workouts. One of the things that turned me off was that people really seemed to get into my face. I'm not the type that enjoys strangers making comments about my workouts. And the owner himself would Idk try and be funny I guess by doing things like kicking a soccer ball at my head or standing on my rope as I was using it. I hated coming here. But since they bill you upfront for the month, I was definitely going to get my money's worth. Overall, it was an experience that I hoped would push me through a plateau to drop me from a size 2 to a size 0. It didn't. But it did push me to keep exploring other gyms, other trainers, and other workouts in the area. Bottom line,not a single person really took the time to try and listen, just trying to force me into the same generic routine that every other girl and guy in the gym was doing. Having lost over 35lbs, I know a little bit about how my body responds to workouts but they just kept claiming to have far superior knowledge. Too bad their program didn't work. =============================================== By far the most uncomfortable workout experience I've ever had. To be fair, I'm sort of a brat. And I realize this. I love lifting weights and I love being strong in the gym. But the exercises they had me do made me feel silly and slightly retarded. Hard to feel fierce doing this stuff. And it certainly is exhausting. But that's probably a good thing. I did see an entire rack of weights and kinda' wondered why we didn't touch it and I had to play with dirty gross looking ropes instead. That being said, Jeff, the trainer, was really patient with me. But he did rely on a lot of the trainer rhetoric about you'll see results if you change your diet blah blah blah. Really, all I want to know is whether any of the girls in the gym actually got results and if they lost weight doing so. Point to someone and say they used to be a fat ass and I'd probably sign up a lot quicker. But then again, I'm the original skeptic bc I've been through a lot of trainers at a lot of facilities and only 2 have ever lived up to the hype. But alas, they are about a 2 hr drive away from my new home. As it is, I'm pretty on the fence about it. So I guess if I feel sore tomorrow, I'll stick with it. If not, I'll hop along to trying out more new workouts in my new OC home. read more

I was invited to Innovative Results by friends, and I am so happy I came! I was initially caught off guard by some of the warm up/workout progressions because they are far from the average types of exercises I had done in gyms past. Once I got in the groove I started seeing results and greatly improved my recovery (which is important because I go 5 days a week and am pretty active outside of the gym). Plus we have a blast, and I have never felt like I was pushed to lift or exercise past what is dangerous or uncomfortable. I surpassed my goals by achieving these incredible feats: I gained ten pounds of lean body mass in 7 months. I doubled my kettelbell front squat My wife has noticed, and said, "You look more defined," and "you look stronger," and "your butt looks good!" I can fill my shirts out much better. My upper body strength has doubled. I started pressing 20 pounds overhead, now I am pressing 55 pounds overhead! I have even retained my music students for longer, and I attribute that to my increased confidence. I did the hardest legs of the Ragnar Relay that I have ever done, and performed better this year than years prior. I also completed a 100 mile bike race (on a single speed), and before I had only gone 62 miles. Saw a huge improvement in my power output from the year prior. I feel amazing, and would recommend these guys whether you're trying to improve your confidence or improve your looks. I have always liked being active and healthy. Working out at Innovative Results has taken my liking to a whole new level! No machines, no mirrors or meat heads doing bicep curls while checking themselves out. This place is the real deal! Since I started working out here I have; 1. Increased my flexibility 2. Increased my endurance 3. Decreased my back pain 4. Lost weight 5. Reduced my body fat (6.5%) did the dunk test and was so happy all my hard work paid off at IR 6. Review based on experience with facility policies and staff. Wanted to check this place out before potentially buying a groupon, we were told by Kyle (I think that was his name) that we could do a free week trial and then get the groupon and train for a month. We went back for our free session, wasn't too bad the trainer was nice, but we were then told that we had to pay that same day directly through them, NOT Groupon, to continue. Seemed odd, contradicted from what we were told before but, we were easily persuaded, that's on us, sure. My friend and I paid, but after not being able to work it into our schedules after a long weekend, we decided that being at a facility w set times wasn't for us, so we followed up with them and asked for a refund. Keep in mind that we had only gone in once for what we were advised was a free trial session. We had not had the opportunity to train after paying, which led us to what happened next. So we were told that even though we had NOT come in, started our paid sessions, ever trained more than that ONE "free" time, that we would not be receiving a refund even though no services were received. They then tell us that, our month membership had actually ALREADY started and was nearing the end?? Now that's ridiculous and poor business practice. I sincerely would not recommend this place to anyone just because of how poorly this was handled, I'm not going to lose sleep over $60 a head but it left a terrible taste in my mouth. read more

My buddy introduced me to ALfred and his online Kinstretch classes. I went from almost crawling on the floor in pain to walking up these Pasadena hills with my wife in two months. My brother and I joined Innovative Results because of a Groupon promotion and at the urging of a church friend. A group of us signed up together and after the first session, we were hooked! I am incredibly glad for this experience and it has literally changed my life. My brother and I are truly a testament to the efficacy of IR's program. Prior to joining IR, we've tried 24 Hr Fitness, LA Fitness, DVD programs, but nothing stuck. From each year's New Year's resolution to the next, I haven't truly worked out for over 10 years. We have now attended for about a month (everyday,6 days a week!) This is well over the 3 days max I've consecutively worked out for prior. IR provides an experience that neither a gym nor DVD program offers. The atmosphere is fun and energetic. The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, encouraging, and pushes you just the right amount. The work out programs are well designed and vary enough so that you won't get bored. This program, being a group class, is precisely why I feel more compelled to keep up. I don't want to be the slowest or the weakest. Without peers, I would not push myself. That said, it's never a competition and you're always encouraged to go at your own pace. I am definitely compelled to keep up with the EFFORT; not so much with the mass of weights, reps, or speed. The coaches focus on your form so that your work-out is of good quality, rather than sheer number of reps of poor form. Both my brother and I have noticed differences in ourselves after the first week. I now have more energy, my mood has improved, even my complexion is better! After the first month, I now have family members telling me how my belly is already noticeably smaller. What makes IR different is its family culture and it's positive mental attitude. Great place to workout. Trainers are knowledgeable and helpful without being overbearing. A wide assortment of equipment and the sessions vary over time so it's not a constant repeat. Have been going for roughly 10 months and they have done an impressive job adjusting to COVID; Big warehouse-like facility, small class sizes of no more than 6 people, garage doors are open and fans are going, and each person gets specific equipment set aside for them. Obviously nothing is 100% safe, but this feels about as good as it can get given the circumstances and it's one of the few social and healthy things to be doing now so I very much appreciate it. This is an amazing facility!!! It's a playground for fitness folks!!! The facility has an awesome combination of strength equipment with Barbells, Kettlebells, Club Bells, Steel Mace, Battle Ropes, and Medicine Balls, along with all of their climbing ropes, peg boards, monkey bars, parallel bars, and large open turfed areas. The team of trainers are very professional, and extremely well trained and educated! They use very positive language and clear cues, all while executing very well structured small group classes and personal training sessions. The energy in the gym is awesome! The trainers love what they do, the members love the classes, and the members love the results that they are achieving! This is the perfect place to train for life! I first came to Innovative Results last year because I wanted to start going to a gym/work out center that was near my new job. I found out about IR through a living social deal and decided to give it a try. My first impression...WOW, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The workouts were far different than what I have done in the past. I have been to different kinds of personal training, there were one on ones, team, online, and crossfit yet none of them piqued my interest the way IR has. There's a huge emphasis on proper form and ensuring that you also properly spend time on rest and recovery, all of this has helped mold me being aware of how I move, even how I sit, stand, walk throughout my entire day. Since the workouts aren't your typically gym/machine/barbell type exercises, they might not seem like hard "work" but trust me, when you walk out of that place, you'll be sore in all the right places. Few things in life are as important as health and fitness. For starters, it's only lending to our quality of life but it also lends to how we feel about ourselves. I started going to Innovative Results because Corey Beasley (A trainer and Partner of IR) talked to me a bit about what they did there and my curiosity was peaked. So - I finally made "time" and went. I had no idea what to expect but the minute I pulled up what I saw blew my mind. A huge space, green turf, tractor wheels, medicine balls, climbers, ropes, amazing pieces of "equipment" that utilized YOUR strength rather than relying on a machine to do the work for you, walls adorned with Sponsors and Military Flags, AND my favorite part, words of inspiration and motivation on the walls along with countless "Goals" of those who come to work out here. Corey spotted me (no doubt with a bewildered look on my face) and had me jump in with 4 others guys he was training. Yes one girl with 4 guys. I'm not going to lie, it only motivated me to want to kick their butts in terms of showing them I could hang. In the first five minutes, I was already dripping sweat. I was in. And now, almost 3 months in, I never miss. I go three days every week and if I can make it happen, I add a fourth day. The exercises Corey has us do range from variations on the ropes to pushing a football like post/sled, doing courses that push our endurance, strength exercises that make every single muscle in your body work, consistent inconsistency meaning I am NEVER bored! My trainer is Corey Beasley and honestly, I feel like I won the lottery. My body in three months has totally transformed. I'm not some "buff" girl with muscles busting out of my clothes - in fact, I'm leaner than I've ever been and ---- ladies, this is the big one ----- I went down 3 (THREE) sizes in jeans!! Started out in a 6 and I'm now wearing a 0! Yes, really. I'm not one to weigh myself because weight fluctuates way too much (and Corey will attest to that) but I am so much more aware of my body. I am healthfully aware of nutrition, exercise, motivation, consistency, the importance of learning the physiology of our bodies. I have a much clearer understanding of the science behind working out and the benefits of working with someone who watches how your body moves and then teaches it to respond in a way that results in amazing fitness and aesthetics. I started working out at IR in August and was instantly hooked on their workouts. I found them through my BF who loves coming here. He would come home telling how he pulled sleds, towed chains, and all these other crazy workouts. I thought he was crazy! I would imagine a bunch of egotistical meat heads working out and was convinced i couldn't do it. He would always ask me if i wanted to go and my first thought was NO!! I'm 5'4 and 115lbs. My idea of working out is doing Bikram Yoga 4 days a week. I'm not a strong person at all so I finally decided to give them a try. I will say i was initially really intimidated and pretty much convinced myself i wouldn't be able to hang. I feel silly now for having those thoughts. The staff here is top notch. They really work with you and finds accommodations if you don't feel comfortable doing something. They push you, but not to where you will hurt your self. I feel so much stronger. The Innovative Results team has worked hard to build a new facility and it is amazing. It is so expansive that you feel like you are training outdoors. The obstacle course / agility training is really fun. Once you get used to actually moving during your workouts, you won't want to go back to sitting in a sea of machines. The training is still the best of the best. I have gotten so much out of training at IR for the past year and a half. I have gotten stronger, gotten rid of nagging aches and pains and generally feel less stressed out from day to day. I can't recommend Innovative Results enough. They make it easy. You don't have to worry about what routine you should be doing or any of the details. They know what works, why it works and how to do it without injury. This is the best private gym in The OC. Period. Corey and Aaron are amazing trainers and they have built a fantastic facility tailored towards functional workouts, workouts that transform your bodies into lean, mean fighting machines. The first thing you'll notice when walking into this place is that there are no machines, not a single bench, arm curl or lat pull down. But what you will find are plenty of ropes, plates, and plenty of motivation. After spending a month here all other gyms pale in comparison. I love this place. The coaches are smart and upbeat and the workouts are fun and challenging. I'm a big fan of boutique fitness in general - I've gotten into Crossfit and tried most of the fitness spots in the area, I like to work hard. But I also like to avoid injury and burn out. As soon as I went back to other popular group fitness spots, my neck tightens up and I find myself irritated by the crazy loud music and 40 other people in the room. Checked out Innovative Results for the first time three weeks ago and quickly signed on! I just completed my 6th session last night and I can honestly say I am still loving/hating every minute of the workouts. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the body and how to maximize the workouts which makes the experience all that much better. The best thing I like about IR is it reminds me of my playing days. I played football for 8 years both high school and college, as an offensive lineman, and even though I am 300+ pounds the workouts are obtainable and also give me the competitive edge I need to push myself more then I can when I work out alone at the gym. For those on the fence about IR I recommend trying it out! I can already feel the results (even though they may be small), but the satisfaction I have when leaving IR after the workout is worth every penny! read more

My mom has been working with Corey through 3 different locations over the past couple of years. During that time, he's been patient with her different physical limitations and helped her recover her flexibility and strength. I've been alive one year. A year ago I walked into Innovative Results, and I had a rebirth. A fitness awakening, a mindset revival. I have cried tears of burn and of sweat and of life in this church of mine, and always look forward going for each and every workout. Innovative Results is the ONLY review I have on Yelp & for good reasons! I would feel guilty if I didn't let people know how great this place is! I have been working with the amazing trainers at IR for close to 2 years now and made my move from amateur mixed martial arts to professional MMA while working with them. I transitioned from 2min. rounds to 3-5min. rounds and I can honestly say w/o all the functional, "innovative" and fight appropriate exercises I would not have been as successful as I have. I'm now an undefeated (2-0) pro fighter who won a 20k$ tournament this past October and I am the only female fighter to beat Fallon Fox, the openly transgender MMA fighter. If that's not an a tribute to how strong IR has helped me become, I don't know what is :) Besides gaining strength, I have dropped a weight class from 145lbs to 135lbs, lost body fat and have never looked or felt this healthy or happy in my life. I own SO much to this gym & the trainers. I recommend IR to anyone who wants to lose weight/tone up, gain strength, or increase their athletic performance in anyway! SUPER KARMA!! These guys are the real deal. I've been a work out dude my whole life, and quite frankly I've become quite bored with the whole process. After stopping in for a Fundraiser to support a certain cause I had a chance to listen to what Cory, and Aaron are doing here at Innovative Results. I was blown away at how cool their approach is to working out. They take the boredom out of Chest and Back on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. While switching to Bi's and Tri's on Tuesday's and Thursday's. It's like a whole new world working out with them... I LOVE IT! I look forward to a whole new transformation coming my way.... not only on my body, but they were alos so hip on nutrition as well! Right on guys, great job! I found Innovative Results through their Living Social promotion and went into the workouts a little skeptically. Now...I'm happy to say that it was one of the best purchases I've ever made. The staff here is really amazing, they are all very knowledgeable, fun, encouraging and most of all caring. Because of the classes I go to, Mark, Madison, Corey, and Aubrie have been my main trainers. They're all wonderful and I've been lucky to have them help me along through my fitness journey. I had been going to the gym regularly to run and lift weights on my own, but after a month of working out with the IR trainers I couldn't be happier. I can definitely see and feel the results, I've gotten stronger, lost some lbs and overall, I am in much better shape. I would recommend the gym to anyone who is looking for a great workout with awesome trainers. read more
