I used to get intimidated by going to the gym. I tried a bootcamp-style gym once and ended up hurting my back, which made me hate working out. In January, I found Elev8 Performance and started training with Bryant. Bryant is passionate, friendly, funny, and at the same time, tough. Unlike other bootcamps, Elev8 Performance customizes workouts based on each person's needs and level. Bryant put together a workout program for me that I really enjoy. Elev8 Performance also offers a nutrition program that comes with the membership. This place is absolutely my favorite gym! I don't love big crowds public gyms and the small group training here is perfect! Sandra, Alyssa, Bryant and Mark are awesome! They always make sure you are comfortable, pushing you, making it light hearted and focused to what feels best for you & your body! Every employee here is so sweet and cares so much about you! I've been wanting to try out this gym and I'm glad I finally got myself to go! I've been seeing this gym pop up on my social media. It's worth the hype!! When I walked in, I immediately felt welcomed. The gym is modern, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. I love the small details they added (the plants, neon signs, all that jazz) I met Mark and he was able to give me a tour around the gym. There's a private sauna and cold plunge room! It's don't see that too often. I really like the idea of "private". I also noticed they have their own merch, a BMI machine, refreshments, etc. The equipment is also new. A solid 5/5. I can't believe they've been here for 7+ years! Lol. After the tour I hopped into a small group class with coach Bryant. It was challenging, but fun. He humbled me quick LOL. He's knowledgeable and you can definitely tell he's passionate about coaching. I enjoyed learning PROPER form. I can't tell you the amount of times I've jumped into a boot camp class or went to the gym just to get a good workout in-- boy...could I have been more efficient with my time. I've been coming to Elev8 for almost 3 months now and wow! Each day I'm there it gets better and better. The community is so warm and welcoming, I really feel like I'm interacting with my own family members. Making a decision to get where I wanted to be at wasn't easy, but I got an amazing trainer ahem, shoutout to Chelsea!! Really takes your own time to make a difference if you really want to change, and also a lot of dedication and being true to oneself. The start was a bit rocky, but Kat and Chelsea worked with me on my terms quickly to ensure I received the best experience possible. A meal plan was produced for me and Chelsea created new workout plans each month for me to conquer. It was extremely fun to try out new workouts every month and being able to take what I learn from here to other places is such a gift. Elev8 continuously upgrades their machines, and always put their customers and clients first. I can really see the thoughtfulness put into the sanitation, equipment, and interaction this gym has to offer. The community events that they do from time to time is also really fun, their boot camp workouts with Mark is super fun to attend and meet new people, and everyone here are all so friendly! I'm not where I want to be at as of yet, but I never in a million years did I think I'd be able to make a difference in the booty!!! Just after a few months, a tiny booty has formed when wearing my workout leggings and jeez, if this isn't the power of Chelsea, I don't know what is?! Rarely write reviews but Elev8 and Bryant deserve a top notch review! Been to plenty of gyms and this is the only one where you have people come in to actually workout, be respectful of your space, re-rack weights and wipe down equipment. I love going to this gym and actually look forward to going to the gym. Bryant has been awesome, has helped me correct my form and I've been lifting so much better. He's a wealth of knowledge when it comes to proper lifting techniques, rehab exercises, stretches to alleviate tightness. Investing in this gym and working with Bryant for the past 1.5 years has been a great decision and I highly recommend him! I've also made some really good connections/friends at the gym. Their gym is set up with good intent for athletes, love how the squat racks and deadlift floors have their own section and then the machines are near the treadmills. They have a lot of equipment for specific muscles and like the free weights section with the mirrors. Can't say enough good things about this place! Parking: there's a lot in the front (currently undergoing construction, as of February 2020) and in the back. Location: easy to find and close to the freeway! Restrooms and showers and a water refiller: available. Personal trainers: AMAZING! I personally workout with Mark G. and have been since March 2019. I'm obsessed. He really cares about his clients and their wants and needs. He listens to your goals. He WILL help you reach your goals. He has semi-personal training sessions and boot camps. (All the boot camp instructors are great!! Hi, Brittany!) I'm grateful I found this gem of a place. It's awesome. You won't regret it. I think the first session might be free, but call them and ask!! So excited to have Dylan as a new personal trainer at Elev8! Side note: he's very good looking and has muscles on every part of his body. But better than his physical appearance, he is funny and ethical, which is way better. Dylan was attentive and kind and showed respect to all of his clients. He rotated between clients (less than 4) quite nicely and was not sweating with anxiety, even though he is new to the gym. He wiped down all the equipment as everyone used it, went around giving encouragement, and demonstrating the exercises. So glad Elev8 and Mark hired Dylan! I worked out at Elev8 in the group training class, then in the semi-private class, for about 1.5 years before I decided to start working out on my own. I've been training with Sandra for just under a month, and have already seen extremely positive results in muscle gain and fat loss. Sandra is friendly, attentive, and supportive. I've never been one to be into fitness, but she makes it fun while challenging me to get better (mentally and physically) each session. She meets you at your level, and then levels you up! Bryant makes sure your technique is correct so you don't get hurt. He has years of experience and tips to help make your workouts safe and effective.
