This is the electrician you want. Fast, clean, professional, friendly. Shows up on time, knows his stuff. Goes the extra mile to make it right. Pricing very competitive. Highly, highly recommended. Best I've run across. read more

Great service. He's easy to work with. Prices are reasonable. Fast and efficient. Highly recommend this electrician.

Fearghal - responsive, fair price and reliable. Tried him out a few years ago for some light electrical fixes like 3way switches and doorbell electrical shorts and hardwired smoke detectors. He fixed it all on the spot. Then I text him up a few days ago because the garage wall outlets were out but not a breaker problem and he helped me fix the issue over text msg with a GFCI reset. Great to have a go to Mr fixit for electrical stuff. read more

Fearghal did a great job installing myTesl wall charger and three new electrical outlets. The process was fast and collaborative, with some great insight and suggestions by Fearghal around best practices and smart placement of my outlets. I've been super happy with the results. read more

After having electrical work in our building completed by several companies, all highly rated on Yelp, we have concluded that Eleney Electric is the best fit for us. Their electricians are masters at upgrading the electrical wiring, switches, outlets and panels in old San Francisco buildings like ours. They can get into tight attic spaces, and are geniuses when it comes to minimizing hole cutting of walls and ceilings to install new wiring and fixtures. Their pricing is very reasonable, they work very fast, and they avoid doing any more work than necessary, helping us stay within our limited budget. Highly recommended! Thanks to the owner Fearghal, and his excellent crew! read more

I called Eleney Electric over the weekend with a small project at my home. Fearghal answered the call and came over personally to take care of my issue, and even scheduled a follow-up after the weekend with one of his crew. Clean and quick work and nice people to do business with. I highly recommend this local SF business and would happily use them again! read more

Amazing electrician to work with. I will definitely recommend him anyway. Very honest and efficient.

Fearghal is the best! He helped me fix some lighting - he first helped me figure out over text and a phone call what the solution should be, then made sure I ordered the right parts by sending me the Amazon links, then came over to install it all. That wasn't all. On his way out, I mentioned that a part of a lamp in my apartment had come loose. He took a look and said he'd think about what a good solution was - this wasn't part of his job, but he just offered to think on my behalf. He then texted me to tell me he had a solution and came back FREE OF CHARGE. He brought a tool with him that fixed my lamp, and he said he was happy to help. I'm a fan for life. read more

I manage two rental houses with several apartments and have an old house myself - always needing an electrician for something. The one-man operation of Fearghal McEleney aka Eleney Electric is superb: on time, knows his stuff, reasonable priced, an intelligent and friendly guy who goes the extra mile to make customers happy. I have used his expertise for a few years now and just sent him over to see new tenants to fix a faulty switch. I came by later to check with the tenant and she could not stop telling me how great he was - not only did he fix the switch, he figured out what was wrong with the downstairs track lighting (and fixed it), and then showed the new tenant how to use the front door lock system. Thank you Fearghal for making my life easier and my tenants happy with me! Oh, and thank you for fixing the things too. Email: eleneyelectric@yahoo.com read more

Fearghal was recommended by our realtor to do some supplemental electrical work at our home. We were pleased with his work--He was reliable and easy to work with. He and his crew estimated that the job would take two days, and they finished in two. I would definitely recommend Fearghal for electrical set up and repairs. read more

OMG, I thought he was amazing. He has a great talent for troubleshooting and explaining to someone who doesn't know anything about electrical work what is going on and what my various options are. He figured things out so fast (some which were so simple I could kick myself). Example, our motion sensor outside is not working because water leaked in it. Someone else had told me it's the wiring that was bad. I am very glad to have found him on yelp! read more

I have used Eleney electric for years as I am in construction and a home owner. Fearghal is cheery with a can do attitude and actually knows a lot about construction. He has obviously been working on many different types of houses for years and even victorian old wiring doesn't phase him. His call out rate is very reasonable and he has never been unable to fix my problems. He is simply the best in town! read more

These guys are great! They came by 15 min after I called to quote our TV mounting, HDMI/Coax/Electrical wiring job and came in a much more reasonable price that other electricians in the area. Scheduled to do the work the following week and they recommended great solutions that we didn't think of. Now we have a TV mounted on our fireplace mantle, no wires to be seen and we're really happy with their service and expertise! HIRE THESE GUYS! read more

So disappointing. Fearghal is a nice guy but not reliable and suspect on his billing. He started my project nearly three months ago and booked 3 times to come finish and never did. He never gave me an actual written invoice, and when I questioned my small job having $450 billed for parts he immediately reduced it by $100, and told me that the bill would basically cover what was remaining to be done. Very strange- Just had to hire another electrician to complete the job and he noticed several code violations to the work done. read more

Fearghal is an excellent reliable electrician! I have used him many times for my business and we are now using him for our dental office. Not only he can do all the complicated electrical work he can also do low voltage data drops in offices. He networked our entire dental office without any issues. I love Eleney Electric!! BTW Fearghal is also a super nice guy! read more

I needed a last minute electrician to install wiring in conjunction with concrete work (as our prior electrician bailed). Fearghal responded quickly and came by same day to check out the site and provide an estimate, then installed the panel next day. The concrete timing was unpredictable due to rain, but the second the ground was ready for the piping they came by to set up, so concrete could be poured the next morning. Everything went perfectly with no issues. read more

Love Fearghal -- reliable, friendly and excellent work. After using another electrician who botched the work in our place, Fearghal fixed it all and has been our electrician for small and large jobs. read more

After reaching out to several electricians to have a light fixture installed, and a TV mounted, I gave Fearghal @McEleney Electric a call. I am so glad I didn't go with 'Joe Moe' off Amazon, or another electrician. I got a same day visit from Fearghal; the job was superbly completed, and very reasonably priced. Moreover, Fearghal went the extra mile to replace all the electric outlets in my condo with the baby-safe kind, at no extra cost. I've never had such great service! Fearghal is professional, cleans up after himself (I love that), and does an excellent job. Highly recommend. read more

The first call I made to Eleney Electric was when I was having a housewarming party for my first home in SF and when I came home from last minute shopping noticed that my light switch was not working and out of all places the living room!!!! He came on such a short notice and hooked me up so my party of 40 would have not been like camping for adults indoors! What a business and what a guy, Fearghal came so swiftly to help in my home. I would call no other the best like I brag about Eleney Electric! Just call and you will be relieved to know he is no rookie and will gladly and safely get your needs taken care of. Appreciate you Fearghal, many blessings to your business!!! read more

I have been using Fearghal for my electrical work for the past few years. He is very fast, reasonably priced, and also a super friendly, helpful guy. On one visit, I swear he knocked about 7 items off of my to-do list in about an hour, from hanging a heavy chandelier single-handedly to figuring out why a light, doorbell, etc didn't work and fixing them. And the last time I saw him, I spotted a leak, and he diagnosed it and was able to get a tile guy to my house ASAP and fix it over a holiday weekend -- not usually in an electrician's job description, but that's the kind of guy he is. Total lifesaver. read more

My wife and I have called Eleney Electric and Fearghal the owner has come to the rescue everything. Whether for a total redo of interior lighting with complicated track systems or major electrical box issues, he had been excellent, prompt, and provides high value. Sometimes he can diagnose simple problems over the phone and doesn't even have to come in person, all with a great demeanor! Love him! read more

Fearghal is an electrical genius IMHO. He succeeded in fixing my daughter's funky switch/outlet wiring where many others have failed. He installed recessed can lighting in our Edwardian and made it look much more elegant - He's a super nice guy - very good at his craft and a pleasure to work with. read more
