Elena is an amazing restaurant! It is a 2024 Michelin star winner and the quality of the food definitely showcases that. The service is fast and the ambiance is amazing as well! We were a large group so there were lots of things we tried, but the highlights for me personally are the dishes below: 5/5 - Burrata - the most flavorful and wonderfully presented Burrata I've ever had! Truly a treat. 4/5 - Charcuterie Plate: really fresh cheeses and meats, if you're even remotely a cheese and wine person, this is a great starter choice. 4/5 - Grilled Octopus: folks were big fans of this and the calamari across the table. 5/5 - Dry Aged T-Bone & Rib Eye cuts 5/5 - Panqueque con Dulce de Leche: super delicious, Argentina has the best Dulce de Leche I've had by far. 5/5 - Helado: the best one was the Dulce de Leche Super flavor, but the pistachio and strawberry flavors were really good too, I loved the tart contrast of the strawberry compared to the sweetness of the rest. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance' 5/5 Wine selection: 5/5 Overall: 5/5

We dined at this upscale restaurant located in the Four Seasons hotel during our two-night stay while heading down to Patagonia. The place is very striking with a soaring ceiling and vibrant atmosphere. Beware: the food portions areHUGE! We started with "Flexi's Choice" charcuterie-prosciutto, Brie, salami and a local cheese called Lincoln. We opted to share a NY strip steak (21 oz!) and ordered the roasted cauliflower and smoked creamed potatoes as sides. We just selected wines by the glass from the nice selection. First of all the space itself is wonderful with large cozy leather chairs and a soaring ceiling topped by a glass dome. The service was extremely attentive from the moment we sat down with no fewer than 5 servers assisting at various points in the meal. As for the meal everything was really spectacular from the start to the finish. Our charcuterie platter was massive with enough slices of melt in your mouth Italian prosciutto, chewy hard salumi and 2/3 of a wheel of creamy brie, plus about 15 wedges of the local cow cheese, Lincoln, along with honey comb and two large slices of lightly grilled tender focaccia. We felt guilty not being able to find it but would have needed at least 4 more people (price-less than $20 US). Our massive steak was served hot from the charcoal-fired oven and had a delicious char on the edges. It was the size of a small roast and served sliced into four large pieces with two types of salt on the side. ($40 US) this was plenty of meat for us. Sides were around $6 US and the roasted cauliflower with a hint of lime was a real standout. The chocolate cake dessert-a small tart shell with crunchy hazelnuts and chocolate cream toooed with a spongy and light chocolate top and a small scoop of chocolate ice cream with a chocolate whiskey sauce was amazing (around $10 US). A very memorable and satisfying meal in a beautiful space. Reservation are a must, they open at 7 pm. Even on a Thursday night they were full when we left.

The Argentinean wagyu was nice and fairly priced. The salmon was okay and the sides were okay as well. The service at the restaurant was outstanding. They really take care into ensuring you are having a nice experience and your needs are catered to. Everyone was very professional. The restaurant was nice and bright during the day, due to the large skylight, but as the sun set it became very dark and difficult to see your food. There were tables next to us using the camera light on their phones to view the menu and it was very distracting to our table. Perhaps the restaurant should invest in dimmable lamps that can be brightened to read the menu and dimmed to set a nicer ambiance for dinner. +Instagram: @MiamiCheatDays for more recommendations

We ended up having the three main meals at Elena despite my dislike of dining at a hotel. What great decisions we made! ATMOSPHERE: Elena is this Four Seasons' main restaurant located on the lobby level. Decor is a mix of contemporary and French Quarter, with an open-view kitchen and seating on two levels. A dry-aging refrigerator is showcased up front with a wine cellar on the second floor. LUNCH MENU: Apps, salads, charcuterie, pasta, poultry, meats, fish. FOOD: Sautéed Shrimp - $13.00. Four good-sized shrimp were stir fried, sat over a bed of creamy-savory red cabbage and topped with French fried onions. Tasty app but the shrimp could've been charred better to give it a more appetizing texture. Elena's Caesar Salad - $12.00. An overly generous amount of smoked trout took the place of anchovies that have a taste similar to salmon. The dressing was creamy, the portion size small. Bitter Leaves - $9.50. My spouse's dish. Chunky cuts of different veggies were tossed in an orange dressing. I didn't have any as I didn't care for any of the ingredients. Risotto Parmegiano - $15.50. Also my spouse's dish. I tried a spoonful of this heavy selection but I'm not a fan of its texture though he enjoyed it. Very rich and creamy. SERVICE: Our female server was friendly but she didn't check on us. A female manager came around checking on guests. ---------- BREAKFAST BUFFET: Daily breakfast came included with our room. I have never seen a fresh honey comb station until now. Honey and toast is way better than jelly & jam! My mushroom, ham and cheese omelette was fluffy and tasty. Also served on the line were eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereals, fruits and cheeses. Service was very good. Turns out iced tea isn't a standard offering so they had to make it special every day I was there. ---------- DINNER MENU: Apps, salads, meats, duck, pastas, fish, pork, desserts. FOOD: T-Bone for two - $53.00. Oh. My. Gawd. My spouse and I were in heaven savoring every bite of the filet and New York cuts. Dry-aged for 60 days and simply seasoned with just salt, the flavors were amazingly pure. THE best steak I've ever had. Highly recommended! Elena Stuffed Potato - $6.00. Wowed again. The bacon-y flavor soaked deep into the spud covered in cheese. THE best baked potato ever and also highly recommended. Grilled Sweetbreads - $13.00. Can this place get any better? Sure they can. Buttery soft goodness in every bite. Holy geezuz. Grilled Octopus - $16.50. The cut of tentacle was steamed to perfect tenderness with a good amount of chewiness. A streak of fried cassava lined the plate for a little bit of starch. SERVICE: Again, very professional. OVERALL: Exquisite steaks, nice breakfast and lunch options. Affordable for being in a hotel. Great service. Highly recommended!

Wow! Delicioso! Favorite restaurant in BA so far, even my friend who is from BA said it is now his new fav. Highly recommend it! First off the food. Everything was amazing, no one complained even a tiny bit. Even the complimentary bread & butter were beautifully made. MUST GET: arroz negro (black rice seafood paella) - everyone's #1 after the meal, sweetbreads appetizer (the sauce was amazing), steak (get the dry-aged ones, the regular ones are good but the same as what you can get at other steakhouses in BA), smoked dulce de leche pancakes (the smoky taste is super strong so make sure to mix every bite with the ice cream, the more we ate it the better it tasted). DON'T GET: nothing! Everything was above average and i went with 5 others and they all loved it. Second - the ambiance. Great place for a date, family meal, meal with friends, anything! The decor is classy and elegant, dim but not too dark where you can't see your food. TIPS: recommend to get a reservation, but it wasn't too hard to get for dinner...we called 3 days in advance for a table of 6. If you haven't tried this place, Go now! :)

This was hands-down my favorite restaurant in BA. I unfortunately went on my last night in town, otherwise I would have come here on several occasions. Highly recommend!

So, the first question someone might have is whether they should go to dinner at a restaurant located inside a hotel or instead get out and explore the area. Well, after our meal tonight, I have no qualms about recommending a "dine in" experience at the Elena Restaurante...which should be viewed as a destination in and of itself. Here are a few things we noticed: - Very hip, modern, chic atmosphere with an open kitchen and great ambiance. Even with a lot of people it wasn't too loud for a conversation. - Superior service, from the sommelier to our waiter to all the helping wait staff. We didn't feel rushed; they didn't pour the wine too quickly; their suggestions were helpful. - Their wine list was great. We were looking for a Rose this evening and they have 6 or 7 to pick from, and the sommelier was knowledgeable and able to add color to the different wine selections. - We ordered the T-Bone for 2...wow! It was amazing and cooked perfectly. - The sides we ordered (roasted cauliflower and the squash bowl) were both good, and not too heavy. The bread on the table was crusty on the outside and moist on the inside. And, we finished with the Dark After 8 and the Mictlan Moctezuma Chocolate ice creams...oh so heavenly. Bottom line: A great dining experience, amazing food, cool surroundings. I'm going to have to find a way to get back here soon!

For a hotel restaurant this is above average. And being in a four seasons you would expect a high level of quality. Service tapered off as the evening progressed. While very good not sure it's a LA top 50

Housed in the Four Seasons Hotel, Elena is a very attractive restaurant. It feels quite posh, and we loved the glass atrium which flooded the restaurant with natural light. Excellent job on the design elements, and open kitchen. We stopped by for lunch, but at night, I imagine it's a very cool place to dine. Also, the The Pony Line Bar at the front of the hotel looks like a nice spot for drinks before/after a dinner. We came for an early lunch on our final day in Buenos Aires. The menu had a mix of options, but features a prominent selection of beef and sides. We shared a steak, along with some salad and side dishes. All in all, the food was decent, though perhaps uninnovative in approach and not particularly special or memorable relative to some of our other meals. Honestly, felt the salad and sides really needed some more depth in flavor (perhaps more caramelization and seasoning). Steak was well-prepared. We selected: - Heirloom Tomato Salad, Buffalo Ricotta, Tapenade, Basil, Balsamic Reduction (ARS 245) - Bone-In Ribeye 450 grams (ARS 650) - Roasted Cauliflower, Pistachio, Lime, Dill (ARS 130) - Smoked Potato Puree (ARS 130) - Mictlan Montezuma Chocolate and Pistachio Ice Cream (ARS 185) Good selection of wines by the glass, and we enjoyed the 2016 Lunta Malbec (ARS185/glass). Nice latte (ARS 110) to conclude with as well. Service was very good overall, from start to finish, particularly by Argentine standards. Very attentive and welcoming. This alone made a fair amount of difference relative to some other experiences, including in our own hotel the Park Hyatt Palacio Duhau. Overall, given the food was somewhat unremarkable, this might not be at the very top of my list in Buenos Aires. However, between the inviting atmosphere, good service, and nice wines I would certainly return if in the city and wanting a reliable, stress free meal in an upscale environment. We were in Buenos Aires for a few days prior to our Antartica Trip and asked our concierge at the Sofitel Hotel where we could go for a true Buenas Aires Steak experience. Without any delay he said that we must try Las Lilas. A simple ride over and beautiful location at the site of their redone area along the riverside. Much like every other city is doing. Restaurants. apartments, shops and lots of young people enjoying themselves. We walked inside this beautiful Steakhouse and elected to sit outside where we could enjoy the beautiful view and atmosphere in lovely warm weather. Let me be frank.... Walking into a beautiful Michelin restaurant is pretty much the same around the world. You walk in with a smile and high expectations. Right here in the beginning I will say that the team and service was impeccable from the beginning. Flawless in my opinion. They came over in introduced themselves while bringing us some water, cheesy bread and taking our drink order Appetizers: Three styles of tomatoes. Selection of cheeses from their very complete collection. Main items: 16oz PIcahna steak (shared) Fried Potatoes (shared) Of course the wine was Malbec which paired so perfectly with all the amazing food. Even through my wife likes her meat more on the well side, it retained the tenderness and unbelievable flavor. There is definitely a reason that a place like this become a Michelin Restaurant. Cabaña Las Lilas is flawless and judging from the look on the faces of the other diners around us.... They thought so too. Please see the pictures I added. While this place has been here since 1962, the first time I came was in 1993. They have a great wine list as well. The steaks are some of the best I have had, and I love that they bring your steak on a steel plate over a charcoal fire- do not let them take the grill- I love putting the fat on there to render away and then ladle it over my steak- so much better than butter! We started off with a basket of warm house bread, and it came with several different types, but by far my favorite was the focaccia, which was topped with cheese and herbs and had a lightly salty flavor! All the breads went nicely with the ramekin of sauce on the side, which our waiter described as homemade "mayonnaise." Next, we had the Silo Pampeano salad, made of quinoa, roasted almont, goat cheese, arugula pesto, and fresh arugula. The salad was nothing fancy, but dressed with a little olive oil and vinegar, made for a really refreshing yet hearty dish. Finally, we tried the Milanga Pampeana, which was a thinly-pounded slice of deer meat, which was then breaded and fried, served over fried slices of sweet potato and a side of Mendozan tomatican, which was a mixture of egg, tomatoes, onions, and peppers cooked in a small iron skillet. While the deer meat had a nice gamey flavor, parts of it were a bit tough, and there was way too much greasy breading, given how thin the slice of meat was! However, it was tasty nevertheless, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back to try more of the menu. The standout of this restaurant to me, however, was the service--there was only one waiter manning the entire restaurant, but he was so kind, attentive, friendly, and helpful! Great experience, and great value!
