I wish I had taken a photo of my brunch plate to share here... Went for a girls brunch, the service was great as expected. I ordered eggs benedict and when my plate was dropped, the sauce was broken and curdled, clearly had been sitting under a heat source for waayyy too long. I cut into both eggs and they were over cooked as expected, zero run from the yolk as I also expected based on the appearance of the ruined sauce. My guests even asked, "why would they allow that plate to come out of the kitchen let alone be dropped in front of a guest"? Yes, they took it away and whisked back with another. When I cut into one egg, yes it was better but was under cooked on one side, the egg was still clear and slimy. I cut that portion off and ate the other half. Based on what I was charged, this 1 1/2 eggs benedict plate ended up being about a $40.00 plate with some potatoes on the side. Truly a disappointment considering where we were. My other guest had the wagyu burger. It was the size of a slider and there was only ONE plated. It was over cooked and dry a complete disservice to the high-end meat. My other guest had the lobster roll which even looking at it was under whelming. The taste was the same, again not as one would have expected. Drinks, those were great, of course the views are incredible and as I said, service was as anticipated at this establishment. My suggestion, don't come here and expect to get what you pay for food wise or to get a better than average meal. We were all truly disappointed and let down during our celebratory brunch! Sadly, based on this experience, we will not return and this was a go-to for us and our families for "special occasions". read more

Our go to restaurant for special occasions. The ambiance is amazing and the views cannot be beat. Weather permitting, I highly recommend dining on the patio. The booths facing large windows with unobstructed views of Paradise Valley are also amazing. I've dined for both breakfast and dinner and truly enjoyed both. I really appreciate that vegan and gluten-free diets are easily accommodated. We last dined at Elements in December 2020 for our first wedding anniversary. While the restaurant did not offer anything extra for our special celebration, the server acknowledged it and offered congratulations upon greeting us. Not that we expected anything special, but a champagne toast or other celebratory offering would have been a thoughtful gesture. Despite that, our food was superb and better than any meal we had previously. As a gluten-free vegan, I ordered the pad Thai and it was soooo incredibly good. Typically I am not a huge fan since it can be a very sweet dish. This one was PERFECT. The tofu was crispy and cooked to perfection and the heirloom carrots were delicious. My husband ordered the roasted chicken and said it was the best he's ever had. Overall, our meal was amazing and we will definitely be back. As a side note, the COVID precautions taken here are far better than I've experienced elsewhere. The romantic ambiance, breathtaking views and friendly service made it memorable. We did a lot of dining in Scottsdale so this review may be skewed. The restaurant is in the resort but this doesn't make it any less beautiful. Upon driving up we were met by a friendly guard that welcomed us. Then we went down an elegant staircase that lead to the entrance of the restaurant. Kudos to the restaurant for offering chat on the Open Table App. We had trouble getting an Uber and they kindly held the table. And what a great table it was! The restaurant is beautiful and the views are magnificent. The service was friendly, perhaps a bit understaffed as the server had quite a few tables. There were minor mishaps but they were quickly rectified. The food: bread service was delicious. The Cacio e Pepe Gnudi was good. The short ribs were delicious, even though I didn't care for the wasabi mashed potatoes. The only miss was the pork chop which was very sweet. It looked like most patrons were dressed up. Need a slightly higher category for a place like this. Went for my wife's birthday and it was amazing. Amazing scenic drive to get there prepares you for a culinary experience like no other. Great staff that though we arrived early was able to seat us and just a great laid back experience. I never realized how used to just simply ordering eating paying and leaving is a quick affair when going out to eat is but after going hear it was very clear that this place is about enjoying your time. Took us about thirty minutes to realize that (we were thinking service was bad at first) but once we realized we were able to just enjoy everything as intended. My wife had an amazing birthday experience we were so thankful for everyone's kindness and care in our time and making it a place we now can't wait to return to. read more

It pains me to write this as before I moved out of AZ a couple years ago elements was my go to restaurant for any occasion! I brought my boyfriend here for breakfast as we are in town this week and leaving embarrassed that I spoke highly of this place. I'm unsure of what happened in the last couple years but we were seated at a table with dirty linens and menus. It took quite some time to be serviced with waters and my mimosa took almost 10 minutes to arrive. Our food was good but upon arrival it was served without utensils. Our waitress was very kind and comped our drinks along with an additional 15% off without me saying anything. It was very sad for me to see this place once be one of my top establishments to dine at - at one point I even considered membership as I was utilizing the spa so much! It is no longer the same elements I once remember loving. I hope this was just a bad day but I am leaving so disappointed and really don't see myself ever returning after experiencing this service. We dined here over two years ago and returned recently when we stayed at the Sanctuary Resort and Spa. It continues to shine. My husband and I had a cocktail at the adjacent Jade Bar which has unbelievable views of the Phoenix suburbs, the valley and the desert mountains which are lit up beautifully at night at this time of year. We were then seated at a booth which offered similarly stunning views as we overlooked the pool and the mountains in the distance. Our server was patient as we worked our way through a few tastings of red wine. Not a fantastic by the glass selection and we settled on a rose champagne instead. We started with Asian style mussels in a green curry broth which was really tasty. I ordered this special salmon based on our servers recommendation. They source their salmon from Wild Isles which I learned is the benchmark for Atlantic sustainably organic farmed salmon. Generally I shy away from all Atlantic salmon since there's no such thing as wild caught salmon and the fish you get from Alaska (pacific king salmon) is superior in both taste and cleanliness. But I indulged our server this time and was not disappointed. My husband had the glazed pork chop which was super indulgent and looked spectacular if you're a pork eater. I was too full for dessert but they sent me home with an artisanal cupcake for my birthday. They also gave us two teeny chocolate chip cookies which were salty and delicious. You really can't go wrong with Elements if you're seeking great food, creative American with an Asian flare, all served by folks who are on point in digs which have breathtaking views. read more

Went here for a birthday celebration and the whole experience was wonderful! We showed up about 45 minutes prior to our reservation time and checked in. We were told to come back closer to then but we didn't mind as we wanted to grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the views of the sunset. The Jade bar is really nice and has a great bourbon selection. We all had a drink on the outdoor deck with space heaters and fires going and it was very cozy. Then we walked back to the hostess and were seated immediately. Our table was right next to a floor to ceiling window with excellent views of the valley below. We ordered several starters for the table. The charred octopus was really good and the red pepper sauce underneath was excellent. The cacio e pepe gnudi was good and the wagyu ginger dumplings were also a crowd pleaser. Next we got entrees and we each got something different, so as to sample a number of things. I got the NY strip which was cooked and seasoned well. The Korean short ribs were tender and delicious. And lastly, the lobster cavatelli, although good, only came with one piece of claw meat on top. For dessert, we wanted to try the triple coconut cream cake and s'mores torte, both of which were really good. Since our server knew we were celebrating a birthday, she also threw on brown butter cake, which was definitely the winner! The whole staff from bartenders to hostess to our server were great! This is a very elegant, romantic place - we went here for our anniversary and The service was spectacular (an extra star for that). The mushroom guyere tart - absolutely Delicious!! Two wash chicken - delicious however a little on the salty side. I wasn't a fan of the candied pancetta on it though. It is a big portion - we ended up sharing one. The photo attached is shared portion that each of us got. Desert - Strawberry Meringue - being a meringue it is hard to break and eat. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. It was extremely sweet, we ended up taking a couple of bites and leaving the rest. I would love to go back and try more things off their menu. Wow...it was girls night, after our afternoon at the spa and wow!!! We had an 8:30pm reservation and were seated right on time. It's a beautiful restaurant with great views. Our server Scott was amazing, and it was only his second night working there! They were very busy for a Monday night. Our salad came out quickly. Unfortunately, the rest of our food didn't. There was an issue in the kitchen which delayed our food. The manager immediate brought it out when it was ready and gave us here sincere apologies. She let us know that desert would be on the house to make up for it. Well, once our food arrived we had no worries. It was all worth the wait. Delicious! Then dessert topped it off. It takes quite a lot to impress me with a steak dish. But this..this is illegal it's so good. Ordered a bottle of Napa cab to compliment the 12 oz. filet with bacon jam and marrow mashed potatoes. Omg. Regardless of how HUMONGOUS this dish was, I nevertheless wished it wouldn't end. The dinner vibe here was moody and romantic. Perfect date spot, or special occasion dinner. They have a great patio with a view of the mountains and beautiful sunset, if that is available. From sitting inside you can also get a great view as well, with their large glass windows. We started off with the wedge salad, a classic if you're a blue cheese lover. Splitting with someone else made it the perfect size to share. It was crisp, and had lots of great flavor. For my meal I got the 10 oz filet, with mashed potatoes and asparagus bites. The steak was cooked a perfect medium throughout, and I could not get enough of the mashed potatoes! They had the Halobit on the menu that night as well, with a risotto, and it was delicious as well. We celebrated a birthday and they brought a complementary cake for the birthday girl, which was delicious! We also got two of the PB Bombe's to share. They were very flavorful, but a little dry. A scoop of ice cream came with it, but I would recommend getting an order of their ice cream to top it off even more. We went with a party of 6 and the view was nice. The waiter brought out an extra Mac & cheese and forgot another side. Once we informed the waiter they brought out the correct side and still charged us for the Mac & Cheese. 2 people ordered the scallops which is 54$ and it only came with 4 scallops..... For the price and service this place was 100% not worth visiting. They also charged a 20% mandatory tip and didn't inform us so we ended up tipping another 20% on top of that. The drinks we ordered also took 20 minutes to come out. This was one of the worst experiences I had at a high class restaurant. I would avoid this place at all costs. read more

For entrees I got the sea bass and my fiancée ordered a steak. My sea bass was delicious however the steak was ordered medium rare and came out well done. It took a while for our server to come check on us to send the steak back. The manager came out and apologized and offered us a free dessert. The new steak took a while to come out and even then was still cooked unevenly. For dessert we shared the strawberry cake and a scoop of gelato. We ordered the banana gelato but they brought us vanilla. At this point we were ready to go home and didn't mention anything to our server about the gelato being incorrect. The bill came out and the dessert was not comped. Clearly the manager never communicated to the server that he offered a free dessert. In addition we were there celebrating a birthday. It was noted on the reservation but never acknowledged. While the food was pretty good, it is not enough to bring me back considering the poor service and price . read more

Overall rather disappointing after looking forward to a visit. Service was very slow. Wait staff disappears for long periods. Calamari was average, nothing special. Wife seemed to enjoy the salmon, but by the time she'd finished, she repeatedly commented that she wanted the taste out of her mouth. So not a recommendation there. Pork chop had an excellent glaze, and the chop was perfectly cooked, medium and moist. The cut was very fatty though, and bites without the glaze were a bit boring. Other than the chop itself, didn't find the veggies plated with the chop very interesting. Found the cocktail menu rather lacking, really needed more interesting gin and vodka options. Wife a bit disappointed there wasn't a specialty cocktail she was at all interested in trying. Good selection of wine by the glass, and a few nice drafts. Wouldn't be my first choice for fine dining experience in Scottsdale. read more

My husband and I did a foodies tour through Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Tahoe and Oregon. We watch food Network quite a bit and were excited to check out BeauMac's restaurant. Service was amazing! Food was really good too, just a few slip ups on the food and that's why I'm giving it a 4 star rather than a 5. My main dish was the miso bass. The fish was awesome, cooked well and flavorful. The side to it was a carrot ginger puree. This I did not like. I love ginger, I even make my own ginger teas, and this puree was so ginger forward it was unappealing. I couldn't even eat it. We also had the charred octopus that was just a tad too on the fishy side but overall tasty. I also had the farmers market salad that was just really boring. It seemed like there weren't many components to it, just a bowl of mixed greens, would never order again. My husbands main dish was a lobster pasta that was very good! Overall it was a pleasant meal, but maybe not quite on par with the price point. View was good but on the patio is where the pool is and the pool looks like it's a bit dated and in need of an update. read more
