When the owner responded to my review with a free massage, I said, "that's for me!" I made an appointment with one of the therapists he recommended and.... It was fantastic!!!!! There were some serious knots to work out and Nancy did! AMAZING! I noticed on my way out that the company has a best massage guarantee. So it turns out you don't have to worry about a bad massage like I originally did. At this point I'm considering the wellness program. read more

Mary was fantastic. It was my first time at elements. She gave a great massage and she was communicative, but not too much. The accommodations were excellent and very clean. The only thing I may suggest is that they have a waiting area that is more like a traditional spa - steam room, sauna, etc. read more

If you don't want to read a whole review - at least know this: Emily is SO GOOD that she could probably be Beyonce's personal masseuse. Here's a more detailed review, though: After working out almost every day for several months, I decided it was time to treat myself to a massage. Elements offered a special for $69 for a one hour massage, which I thought was a pretty good deal. Though I don't remember my first experience too vividly, it was good enough to sign up for the membership. I pay $69/month for a one hour massage - and the benefits are great (the pass is transferable to family and friends at this location, unused sessions are rolled over to be used at a later date... and they don't expire, and I get the rate of $49/hour if I choose to go more than once in a month). All-in-all, it was a great decision and I'm very happy. However, I am writing this to not only praise the great deal, but to also give a HUGE shout-out to Emily, my masseuse. She is absolutely phenomenal. At first, I didn't really have any loyalty to one particular person, and I would just book them on a whim. Now, however, I can't go back to anyone else! First of all, she's EXTREMELY talented and attentive... homegirl knows exactly what she's doing. She works very hard the entire time and I've never been disappointed. I like to have my sessions at night so I can come home and relax afterwards, and despite the fact that I'm sure she's been working all day before I get there, Emily always has energy and delivers on my expectations. She's also very mindful to offering me a relaxing experience (vs. trying to chat, like I've had others do). At the same time, she's also very knowledgable and will take time to answer any questions or address any concerns. Before we begin, I provide a quick update to how I'm feeling and what I'd prefer her to focus on and during the session she quietly asks for check-ins before moving to the next part of my body. Very thoughtful, and very professional. I don't know if I can really do justice to her amazing service via an online review - but it's the least I can do. GO BOOK A MASSAGE WITH EMILY. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED (you can thank me later xo). read more

Saw Marci - she's awesome. I've had many massages in the past with different therapists at different spas, and this is one of the best I've ever had. She does a great job of finding the trouble spots and really working on them. Thank you! read more

Highly recommend. The staff was kind and courteous. Once you check in they actually have a tranquility room for you to sit in while waiting for your masseuse. The masseuse was wonderful. He had clearly read my new patient form and asked me exactly what I wanted him to focus on. The room was clean and serene. For the massage he also offered me a hot towel and if I wanted to table warmer on or off. I will absolutely be coming back. read more

If there was a 0 stars options I would give it that. Worst massage of my life. Left with both physical injuries and emotional trauma.

I visited for the first time on my birthday at the last minute. I had never been but had heard of this local location and decided to walk in and give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised and had a great massage therapist. I got a deep tissue massage and it was absolutely awesome. The room was sparse, clean and calming and no funny smells or weird music. Very tasteful all around. I'd give it 5 stars but I thought $99 for a 60 minute massage was a bit pricey. I will return but just not often seeing that I'm used to paying $80 or so. read more

Massages here are great, but their policies and procedures are absolutely ridiculous and not customer-friendly AT ALL. I was given a gift from a family member of a year of massages. They charge you monthly no matter if you are able to come in or not, and they will not allow you to cancel memberships remotely, so you are forced to go in to sign a form that you can easily fax. I have no way of getting to the facility, so I tried to cancel the membership so no one would be losing money or services. This entire situation began because a poorly trained receptionist was left alone on a busy day, and she changed the account information. The cardholder on the account (who lives out of state) has been unable to cancel these monthly charges because the receptionist was confused and decided to alter the account information completely. 6+ months later, we are still being charged for massages no one has been able to claim, because no one can physically go in and sign a document in front of these people. Reassess your policies, or don't leave new folks alone- they need help, and if you're not there to help, situations like this arise, and you lose formerly loyal customers. This is absurd. Disappointed in management. read more

Incredibly wonderful customer service first and foremost. The massage itself is incredible as well. Joanna was very attentive and will specifically ask you about your problem areas and will keep adjusting the intensity of the massage throughout the entire session based in your comfort. This isn't your typical "cookie cutter massage", and I'm looking forward to my next session!! read more

Personal and customized massages in a beautiful "zen-like" facility.... although my massage therapist was Mary, I've heard that each and every staff member is outstanding. Convenient location, with local ownership catering to the various customer preferences. How lucky we are to have Elements Massage here in Park Ridge. read more

Great massage, Highly recommend Joanna.

Great place. Nice people. Good membership program. Relaxing serenity room. Love Gina. I've been going for about 8 months now. Cucumber water while you wait. Unless you're on vacation, this is the place to get a massage. read more

I have a monthly membership to Elements Massage, and have been coming here for about two years now. Michelle the receptionist is always professional and super friendly, and Gina my masseuse is excellent. I love this place and highly recommend it. read more

Awesome place, with a wonderful atmosphere. Relaxing as soon as you walk in. Friendly helpful, staff and great prices. I like that therapists all have different specialties; like deep tissue and trigger point work, which is what I need. They do Swedish massages, too and I heard they even do prenatal massages. All the therapists I've had are top notch! read more

My first time at Elements was great! My therapist Molly was amazing! I had given her a brief as to what I wanted her to work on and she was very knowledgable as to what I was talking about... (I had this strange pain behind my knee) She was very receptive of what I wanted and needed. Molly is professional and great at what she does... You won't be disappointed... read more

I usually go to a place closer to my home, but I was not able to schedule an appointment with them. I called this location and was able to see someone right away. My appointment was with Sarah. She was very nice and very informative. My massage was awesome. I left there feeling a lot better. read more

The heated beds feel great. Every time I climb in there, I want to just take a nice nap! Background music is pleasant as are the massages. Massage therapists check in occasionally and adjust pressure accordingly. To prepare for deeper pressure, I've had a hot pack on my back while other areas are worked on. Staff is friendly and professional. Martyna is great so be happy if you get her. Price isn't worth it unless you join their monthly member program... then the cost is similar to other places. read more

I came here last Friday for a massage and it was awesome!!!!! I really needed it. I'll be coming back.

The people at the front desk were very polite. The masseuse was perfect. She was able to get all the knots out. Even in places I didn't know were bad. They had a tiny chocolate for you before the massage and a bottle of water for right after. Overall, my experience was amazing. I will be going back. read more

Outstanding. I went in because of a knee bursitis (from a lot of running), and saw Kailyn. She pointed out each issue, what she could see and feel, and went to work meticulously. I feel much better after one massage, than I did after two weeks of stretching and NSAIDs. Thanks! read more

I've been here on 2 occasions and have received the best deep tissue massage each time. The cucumber water and professional staff adds to the wonderful experience. read more

Brought my mom here for her birthday for our first massages ever. Staff was friendly and professional and we both felt wonderful and relaxed after. We also got to take advantage of a yelp deal and a first time customer discount which was fantastic. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I will most likely be returning! read more

I just left Elements massage in Park Ridge after having a massage with Ray. That was by far the best massage I've ever had.

After multiple bad experiences with Massage Envy, I was seriously looking for a massage membership without the lies and run-around. My husband found elements and I booked an 80 minute sports massage to try the place out and see if membership was an option. I had an 11am appointment and arrived 15 minutes early to complete an intake form. Upon entering, I was greeted by a quiet, calm atmosphere with music playing softly in the background. The best part was the please silence all cell phones sign. Who can relax with loud distractions? The front desk staff was welcoming and kind and did not push anything on me like I was nothing but a dollar sign. After filling out my paperwork, I waited less than 5 minutes before Christopher came to get me. He was very welcoming and as he walked me back to the room, I was amazed at how large the space was given how small the front wait area is! Before beginning, Christopher went over what I was looking for and let me know that everything was customizable from pressure to heat and the brightness of the room. Throughout the massage, he checked in regularly and also made sure I felt problem areas were worked enough. The massage itself was incredible! I prefer a lot of pressure as my neck and back get very tight and cause headaches. After all massages, I expect to ache the next day and feel bruised. This was not the case at all! I felt great and relaxed! Needless to say, I got the membership and can't wait for my next appointment. read more

Elements lived up to its reviews. Abby did an amazing job and it was extremely relaxing environment. I was looking for a specific focus on my quads, IT bands, and traps and Abby delivered. I feel great and will definitely be returning! read more

I exercise 5x per week, so I was looking for a massage therapist close to home for regular massages. I'm so glad I found Elements. The staff at Park Ridge is wonderful and very friendly. Very nice friendly and professional staff, great experience to float !

Have been a member since September 2015. Love going every month when I can and also love that I can give my massages to my husband when I have extra ones. Only had 1 bad experience with a therapist, so I make sure not to have them again. Everyone else has been amazing. The front staff seemed to have changed since I first started, but not that that really affected me. The place always looks clean and staff is really friendly. Looking forward to my next massage read more

Was a great experience staff was pleasant and massage was great .Would recommend to everyone,im looking forward to next massage

Great place for massage. Had shoulder pain for months even with physical therapy at a local hospital several months ago that did not help. After a session with Mary, the pain is now gone. Elements is the best. DJ Ronski read more

Sarah was great! Easy to get an appointment that worked for me and my busy schedule. Friendly service. Great value. Highly recommend.

Elements has been consistently fantastic since I joined as a wellness member. The therapists are professional, the environment is clean and the front desk staff are friendly, professional and are always ready to help with recommendations if you need information. This location routinely runs specials to help make wellness and "me time" more affordable. Parking is pretty ample and their hours of operation can't be beat. Joanna and Mary are the absolute BEST therapists! They each do an awesome job and can tailor the experience from relaxation to deep tissue. The team is super helpful and are always stressing the importance of water consumption to flush out toxins post massage regardless of how intense your therapist may have gone. This place is truly fabulous and all the staff make you feel like family coming in. read more

It was relaxing and professional. The front staff was friendly and inviting. The therapist Martyna was extremely knowledgable and talented. I loved everything about the establishment, and ended up buying a membership, best decision of my life!! read more

This past Thursday, I had my first massage with Abby and it was truly a wonderful experience. Abby was so attentive to my needs and concerns and made me feel totally relaxed. She focused not only on the areas of my discomfort, but also targeted the actual sources of the problems, which in some cases, were different from the areas of the pain. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable in her profession, but she also is very conscientious, compassionate, and sensitive to the needs of her clients. Thanks to Abby, I walked out of Elements feeling like a new person and the best I have felt in years. I am so looking forward to my next visit with her. read more

I have been seeing Tino on a weekly basis for several months. I am very pleased with him. He always listens to my concerns and addresses them thoroughly. Tino has great medium to deep pressure and checks in with me throughout the massage. He is kind and professional. We have also discussed the importance of exercise. This truly is a great place for massage and the prices for membership are very fair. I definitely recommend Tino! read more

I have been going here for a few years now as a member to Sharon who was simply amazing.... Sadly, she is no longer at Elements but the 2 other massage therapists I have tried are really good, too. Mary is excellent and so is Abby!! Its hard to decide which therapist to book, which really isnt a bad problem. Super nice at the front desk. I had some coupons for free upgrades to 90 min massages that i keep forgetting to bring in, and Jessica lets me get the upgrade anyways. Love going here! read more

Both visits have been great experiences. Calming atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. I've had a different masseuse for each visit and they have both been stellar. Owners are extremely friendly. Love the no fuss attitude here. It's all about getting a great massage at a reasonable price. No crazy, fragrant oils! Excited to go back! read more

I had a regular 50 minutes massage with Joanna O. on 7/18 and it was amazing. My upper back was tight with knots, but Joanna did a great job on my upper back, neck, and head. Throughout the session Joanna checked with me a few times to make sure I choose the right pressure for me at different locations. Definitely highly recommending Joanna! The place itself is nice and quite. Next door there is an ice cream shop and coffee shop, excellent places to go after a very good massage. read more

I came in because my neck and sciatic nerve (from sitting on my wallet for many years) were bothering me. Normally I don't get massages around my house, only if I'm on vacation, but the aching was becoming too much to deal with. To be totally honest, it felt kinda weird at first to come in since I've been friends with Abby for several years. However, Abby was so accommodating, conscientious and professional, and she put my nerves at ease. She is a miracle worker. Abby was able to restore range of motion to my neck by relaxing those tight muscles and she alleviated the achiness in my neck and hip. During the massage, Abby asked me several times if I was in any pain. She was applying deep tissue massage to me, and I can honestly say that not even once did I feel any discomfort at all. I was so amazed by her talents, I immediately signed up for the Wellness Program right after the massage. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. I would easily recommend Elements and Abby to any good friend or family member who could use some quality relaxation or pain relief. read more
