I visited for the first time on my birthday at the last minute. I had never been but had heard of this local location and decided to walk in and give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised and had a great massage therapist. I got a deep tissue massage and it was absolutely awesome. The room was sparse, clean and calming and no funny smells or weird music. Very tasteful all around. I'd give it 5 stars but I thought $99 for a 60 minute massage was a bit pricey. I will return but just not often seeing that I'm used to paying $80 or so. read more

Massages here are great, but their policies and procedures are absolutely ridiculous and not customer-friendly AT ALL. I was given a gift from a family member of a year of massages. They charge you monthly no matter if you are able to come in or not, and they will not allow you to cancel memberships remotely, so you are forced to go in to sign a form that you can easily fax. I have no way of getting to the facility, so I tried to cancel the membership so no one would be losing money or services. This entire situation began because a poorly trained receptionist was left alone on a busy day, and she changed the account information. The cardholder on the account (who lives out of state) has been unable to cancel these monthly charges because the receptionist was confused and decided to alter the account information completely. 6+ months later, we are still being charged for massages no one has been able to claim, because no one can physically go in and sign a document in front of these people. Reassess your policies, or don't leave new folks alone- they need help, and if you're not there to help, situations like this arise, and you lose formerly loyal customers. This is absurd. Disappointed in management. read more

Mary was fantastic. It was my first time at elements. She gave a great massage and she was communicative, but not too much. The accommodations were excellent and very clean. The only thing I may suggest is that they have a waiting area that is more like a traditional spa - steam room, sauna, etc. read more

I like that therapists all have different specialties; like deep tissue and trigger point work, which is what I need. They do Swedish massages, too and I heard they even do prenatal massages. I just left Elements massage in Park Ridge after having a massage with Ray. That was by far the best massage I've ever had.

I exercise 5x per week, so I was looking for a massage therapist close to home for regular massages. I'm so glad I found Elements. The staff at Park Ridge is wonderful and very friendly. The heated beds feel great. Every time I climb in there, I want to just take a nice nap! Background music is pleasant as are the massages. Massage therapists check in occasionally and adjust pressure accordingly. To prepare for deeper pressure, I've had a hot pack on my back while other areas are worked on. Staff is friendly and professional. Martyna is great so be happy if you get her. Price isn't worth it unless you join their monthly member program... then the cost is similar to other places. read more

The people at the front desk were very polite. The masseuse was perfect. She was able to get all the knots out. Even in places I didn't know were bad. They had a tiny chocolate for you before the massage and a bottle of water for right after. Overall, my experience was amazing. I will be going back. read more

Elements has been consistently fantastic since I joined as a wellness member. The therapists are professional, the environment is clean and the front desk staff are friendly, professional and are always ready to help with recommendations if you need information. This location routinely runs specials to help make wellness and "me time" more affordable. Parking is pretty ample and their hours of operation can't be beat. Joanna and Mary are the absolute BEST therapists! They each do an awesome job and can tailor the experience from relaxation to deep tissue. The team is super helpful and are always stressing the importance of water consumption to flush out toxins post massage regardless of how intense your therapist may have gone. After multiple bad experiences with Massage Envy, I was seriously looking for a massage membership without the lies and run-around. My husband found elements and I booked an 80 minute sports massage to try the place out and see if membership was an option. I had an 11am appointment and arrived 15 minutes early to complete an intake form. Upon entering, I was greeted by a quiet, calm atmosphere with music playing softly in the background. The best part was the please silence all cell phones sign. Who can relax with loud distractions? The front desk staff was welcoming and kind and did not push anything on me like I was nothing but a dollar sign. After filling out my paperwork, I waited less than 5 minutes before Christopher came to get me. He was very welcoming and as he walked me back to the room, I was amazed at how large the space was given how small the front wait area is! Before beginning, Christopher went over what I was looking for and let me know that everything was customizable from pressure to heat and the brightness of the room. Throughout the massage, he checked in regularly and also made sure I felt problem areas were worked enough. The massage itself was incredible! I prefer a lot of pressure as my neck and back get very tight and cause headaches. After all massages, I expect to ache the next day and feel bruised. This was not the case at all! Have been a member since September 2015. Love going every month when I can and also love that I can give my massages to my husband when I have extra ones. Only had 1 bad experience with a therapist, so I make sure not to have them again. Everyone else has been amazing. This past Thursday, I had my first massage with Abby and it was truly a wonderful experience. Abby was so attentive to my needs and concerns and made me feel totally relaxed. She focused not only on the areas of my discomfort, but also targeted the actual sources of the problems, which in some cases, were different from the areas of the pain. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable in her profession, but she also is very conscientious, compassionate, and sensitive to the needs of her clients. I have been seeing Tino on a weekly basis for several months. I am very pleased with him. He always listens to my concerns and addresses them thoroughly. Tino has great medium to deep pressure and checks in with me throughout the massage. He is kind and professional. We have also discussed the importance of exercise. I came in because my neck and sciatic nerve (from sitting on my wallet for many years) were bothering me. Normally I don't get massages around my house, only if I'm on vacation, but the aching was becoming too much to deal with. To be totally honest, it felt kinda weird at first to come in since I've been friends with Abby for several years. However, Abby was so accommodating, conscientious and professional, and she put my nerves at ease. She is a miracle worker. Abby was able to restore range of motion to my neck by relaxing those tight muscles and she alleviated the achiness in my neck and hip. During the massage, Abby asked me several times if I was in any pain. She was applying deep tissue massage to me, and I can honestly say that not even once did I feel any discomfort at all. I was so amazed by her talents, I immediately signed up for the Wellness Program right after the massage. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. I had a regular 50 minutes massage with Joanna O. on 7/18 and it was amazing. My upper back was tight with knots, but Joanna did a great job on my upper back, neck, and head. Throughout the session Joanna checked with me a few times to make sure I choose the right pressure for me at different locations. Definitely highly recommending Joanna!
