I decided, on a whim, to get a massage. I was at the same strip mall and decided to treat myself. When I entered, I found the prices to be pretty good, and they had an opening. I was shown to a room. My masseuse didn't talk to me much. I did ask her to use less pressure a few times, and she was responsive each time. Each full body massage includes hot stones. These felt really good. I've been going here almost monthly for many years, and I love the combination massage. It includes soaking my feet, using hot stones, and hot towels. It's also a great value. Staff are very friendly, however there is some challenge around communicating as English doesn't seem to be the staff's first language. I rarely write reviews, but I would highly recommend, and I want to offer support to their business as it's well deserved. It's also worth noting that you can get gift certificates, but they do expire, and for me since I got many of them (like 8) for birthdays and Christmas the staff were starting to think I was never going to pay. I found out about this place thru Groupon and I'm so glad I did. I haven't had a professional massage in over 10 years I have spinal degeneration and forward head posture so my back neck and shoulders are always so tense and tight . I got the 1 hr massage and after having that done I'm definitely spending the extra couple dollars for longer because it was so relaxing . Between the lights the sounds and the entire atmosphere I felt good. The foot massage was way better then I expected the detail into the toes individually the positions they put you in that helps to release I'm assuming some of the back pain I had made me feel like I was at a chiropractors office and it was amazing . This place was absolutely horrible. We made an appointment, when we walked in,the front desk staff were inattentive and dismissive. The place also had a weird smell to it. We booked for the $29 massage but the woman in the front with very poor English kept trying to get us to get the more expensive massage. I informed her that we were not interested in the more expensive massage but then she offered us a good deal for a much discounted rate so we settled on a promotional deal which apparently was only offered to us. It turned out to be a complete sham. The massage was completely underrated. The woman kept texting and using her phone as well as chewing gum during the entire session. I have been here many times, and usually they do a great job. This time, I got the $69 massage and it was just OK. Nothing special, but certainly not bad either. After the massage, I gave the lady at the desk four 20's, so $80. I told her to give the remaining $11 to the masseuse as a tip. She said "more, more" and her English was bad so I wasn't sure she understood me so I said again "$11 tip, give the change to the her" and pointed towards the tables where the massage took place. She apparently did understand me, and said "more tip, give more tip, you can give more." Well, yeah, I can give more, but this was just an OK massage and I thought $11 was fair given the service. She repeatedly said "give more" like a demand, and I finally said "OK just give me my $11 change and I'll go." AGAIN, in the face of me walking out with my $11 and giving zero tip, this bold lady says "give more tip." I left the $11 on the desk and walked out, not understanding how a business could possibly operate like this. I obviously won't be back. This place needs new management. There is another place exactly like this down the road to the north, and I'll just go there for now on. If you want more for the service, then charge more. Have been here two times now... one time I was not pregnant and this time I am days away from giving birth. So this lets you know that they do do prenatal massage. Both times I was extremely satisfied, but this time I am beyond happy because of all the extra care that they took of me to make sure that I was comfortable during my massage. On May 27 I purchased via Groupon a full body massage, as advertised from this establishment. I made my appt for June 2 as instructed and informed them that I had the Groupon for full body massage. When I arrived at the spa, they told me it was for a reflexology massage and they consider that full body. Coincidently, they had a price page on the counter that listed reflexology st $29. I formed the receptionist that I paid $30 for a fully body massage and showed her the Groupon add, which showed a lady on a massage table getting a full body massage, not reflexology. They tried to sell me on a full body massage by charging me extra. I kindly declinef and then I asked her for her name. She refused to provide me her name and said I don't understand why you are asking for my name and what the problem is. I explained it to her as calmly as I could and she still wouldn't give me her name. Instead she called her boss and said to speak to him.
