My wife's masseuse was so bad and didn't follow any of her directions according to pressure or oils. She was wearing headphones listening to music which I could overhear on the other side of room. My wife stopped her at least 5 times to let her know she is applying too much pressure / pain. Then when it came time for the pedicures they were rushing us and didn't not let us enjoy and get done with the pedicure before starting the manicure. Such a small space and the mgr climbs up and starts trimming my nails without asking or anything. Mind you the manicure desks are open and the pedicures are not done yet. Can't even enjoy what is happening because they have no sense of direction or care. Never going back - asked to connect with owner several times and manager has ignored me and not done anything to resolve this issue. Lack of professionalism and proper service

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service and professionalism at the Hand &…read moreStone location in Mt. Prospect (Randhurst Mall). I have been a member for some time, and unfortunately my recent experiences have been consistently disappointing. On multiple occasions, I scheduled my next appointment before leaving the spa, only to find out later that I was never actually placed on the schedule. This has happened more than once, and it is unacceptable for a membership-based business where appointments are essential. I have also had to double‑check my packages and treatments every visit because I do not feel confident that the front desk staff is applying them correctly. No customer should feel the need to verify charges to avoid being overbilled. I was actually called within minutes after leaving the office to say i owed $5.00! Three calls. I did not owe them anything! During one of my recent services, the technician spent part of the appointment speaking negatively about the front desk staff and even mentioned plans to leave and start her own business, asking if I would follow her. When I was checking out the front office staff was also speaking on how they were happy she was leaving. This level of unprofessionalism made the entire experience uncomfortable and inappropriate. Overall, this has been the most unprofessional spa environment I have encountered. At this point, I plan to use the remainder of my packages and then cancel my membership entirely. I am extremely unhappy with the service I have received and hope that these issues are addressed so other customers do not have similar experiences.
