Me and my bf went for a couples massage and scraping. He asked for a deep tissue and I asked for Swedish but we both just felt like we were getting rubbed not massaged. The scraping was just on the back I thought they would do the heel of feet like videos we had seen so decided to go here bc they offered it. I wish she would've given more pressure when the other girl asked my bf if he wanted more pressure and he replied yes she stopped and went back to massaging: we still have same kinks and knots we went in with, we didn't even want to tip and tried to walk out but they insisted on tips. Extremely rude people. We had an appointment made previous day yet they didn't even bother to greet us but they were greeting everyone else. We were waiting for more than half hour yet they got nerve to take other people who came after us and didn't have any appointment. Amy was outstanding. The environment is simple yet nice and very hygienic. When you get in, they give you washed sandals to put on and guide you to the room. I did the deep tissue massage and it was really good. Perfect amount of pressure and Amy was very good and experienced and professional. I had a very enjoyable visit to Lavender Spa today and tried the 4 hand massage, it was amazing and I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I was able to get a last minute reservation for a couple massage which was the good part. The space is very small where they did the couples massage, the tables were literally next to each other with no space in between. The therapist seemed like they struggled a little bit due to the space. I felt like one side of my body got a decent massage while the other was kinda left out. From the previous reviews, I found it a little weird that they got on top of the table too but that actually felt great, not going to hold they back for that. A heads up that it's about to happen would be appreciated though. The price was good, $140 for a 60 min couple massage. They did rush us as soon as the massage was over. They did not offer to use the shower room. The sandals they offer to wear seems very unsanitary, they are not cleaned after every person that wears them. I would suggest paying a little extra and checking out the Heavenly Massage in Buffalo Grove for a couples massage. read more

Worst service ever. We had a couples massage done and both masseuse kept talking the entire time and answering phone calls. No relaxation at all. Without a doubt, my worst experience I've ever had with massages. 1- very surprisingly, they made us pay at the very beginning and not when they finish their service 2- though they offer a couples massage, they dont have a room big enough for that, so they squeezed the second bed in. I told them if space is tight, we're ok with separate rooms but we were assured that everything is okay. Lost count of how many times the other person giving my girlfriend a massage bumped into my hand. 3- the 2 giving us the massage were the only ones there, so every time someone came to their store, one of then left the room to attend them. This happened 3 times. 4- one girl had put her cellphone in the room on a small desk which KEPT RINGING AND VIBRATING. This is supposed to be a "relaxing experience"! It was everything but! 5- our appointment was at 6:30. Took them 10 minutes to ready the room with the second bed, and then attending other people that came in the store in the middle, a total of at least 15 minutes, but they finished our massage right at 7:30!! A supposedly 60 minute massage. 6- last but not least, lost count of how many times both my girl and I told them not to massage too hard, and that it's painful... such a relaxing experience! Had to try this place since it is so close to one of my favorite Japanese lunch places. Small place with what looks like 2-3 masseuses. The decor up front is clean and cute and they have a nice standing shower in case it is hot out. They offer you water or tea before your massage and water after. They seem to know what they are doing and give a very firm but not super deep massage. (Not like pain stop downtown) but much better than most foo-foo places. read more
